And my SOTD, Jardin des Peintres. I started with @Jereni's blue cw and added this one because it is so reminiscent of New Orleans' Uptown and Garden districts (hat tip to my enabler @FA73).

So beautiful @Nomad! You have a wonderful variety of cws here!!!

You look beautiful in this @Maedi. I think I am your little silk sister-- my 90 cw is so similar...

I love that beautiful spicy border @darkstar66! I share your feelings about the great A designers!

You look very chic and relaxed despite the heat @hotgalaxy and how lovely of you to drop in! I hope you are having fun. You've been missed around here-- nice to know it is for happy reasons!

Wow! What a great outfit @FA73! That's a tee-shirt? And not only the scarf doing some lifting but your lovely jewelry, too! I love this design in finesse... :girlsigh:

Just googly-eyed over your spectacular collection of Annie Faivre designs @Croisette7 and all so beautifully styled!
Happy to have enabled you with the Jardin des peintres, @LKBNOLA and beautiful styling and perfect scarf ring for it! I might wear mine tomorrow!
And thanks for the outfit appreciation! It is a t-shirt, a Galapagos souvenir t-shirt (the Galapagos writing is conveniently hidden behind the scarf)

And lost my quote but thank you @Croisette7 for sharing your incredible collection. Once in a while (more often than my wallet likes...), one of your beautiful images and stylings leaves a lasting imprint on my brain, and then the obsession starts. I am trying to push away those multiple images of Zenobie and Sintra....

Hello,
Yes, this week will be the most exciting one for me, these 3 grand As are my favourite H scarf designers. As for Annie, I admire her interwoven pattern mixing, her ornamental skills but also her cute animals and wonderful gardens. My first Annie Faivre was this one, Légende de l'Arbre which I bought perhaps 25 years ago. I like it especially for its interesting green border.View attachment 6213244
Hello dear twin!

Annie Faivre has been such a prolific designer for Hermes and is so beloved, I am not sure what insight I can truly add this week.

As I do not know a ton about her (or any particular designer), I made a list of all her scarves, by year, and attempted to group them into major themes. I came up with:
  • Garden & Nature (20)
  • Equestrian (14)
  • Clothing & Jewelry (11)
  • History & Culture (8)
  • Mythological & Fantastical (7)
  • Place (4)
  • Performance (3)

This is all very subjective of course, and ‘Place’ and ‘Performance’ could probably be just included under ‘History & Culture’ for a simpler list. And many of these overlap.

Besides garden & nature which are my favorite themes for scarves in general, I’m also a fan of Faivre’s designs that feature clothing or jewelry - she very much celebrates the art of textiles. I don’t own many of them, just Voyage en Étoffes, but here are a few examples, some of these designs having been already shared by you lovely ladies:

Gorgeous and I love your necklace with it!
Just popping in to say hello 👋, and post my plumes en fete scarf by Aline Honore. I was holidaying in Europe for the last 8 weeks. This photo was taken on a very hot afternoon in Nice. It was very hot so I used my scarf to tie my hair.View attachment 6213276
Looking very chic in spite of the heat!
Happy Monday all!
We are in for a treat this week with these favorite As!
Annie Faivre's Astres et soleils in a camouflage mode today. This is me trying to elevate a cotton t-shirt for work :)

ooooo fantastic pattern matching!! Wow!!
Happy Monday, everyone! I am about to hit the road again until Wednesday but posting two Annie Faivre "Jardins" for the sub-theme. Like everyone here, I have some choices when it comes to Annie Faivre designs, but these are the two most recently acquired garden motif scarves in my collection!

Wow! :faint:
what a specatular array - I'm thrilled to be your twin with JS ... at least one cw!

A glorious cw and the insulator detail is so cute. Happy gardening.

I love your cw of this already much loved design @FizzyWater!!! I have only ever seen it once at a reseller... fantastic colors.
Thank you, @Maedi and @LKBNOLA

!

The colors are of course nothing related to nature, but I think they’re pretty. ;)

I also consider this a “blue” scarf, but it’s really turquoise and blue-purple on either side of a true blue. The birds themselves are bluer!

Also, the crows were unimpressed, but a ton of weeding unearthed lots of bugs and worms so I think they’re still my buddies.
