For Diana: my blueiest blue, Lumières de Paris. And it has an angel. View attachment 6201396
So beautiful Moma, and a lovely tribute! ❤️
I posted Kawa Ora last week for the celestial navigation sub-theme but I promised a scarf-on-site. A Polynesian scarf in Polynesia, where I am fortunate to spend a few weeks, with the island of Moorea in the background. Tied entirely inspired by my twin @LKBNOLA. And joining the beautiful and moving blue tribute to Diana.

(And belated kudos to you for your fab hosting last week! :hugs:)

Wonderful tributes to Scarf1 :hugs:. And the comments about our community are so wonderful to read. It’s all so true! Love being able to join in with you all. @redheaddem those colors are awesome on you! @LKBNOLA that moussie on that sweater is absolutely stunning. @Pirula it’s so wonderful to see you again. Acte is beautiful and am so happy to say I am recently twins with you on this. @FA73 I always love a scarf on site and wow that silk looks amazing. @momasaurus lovely to see you here too! Been too long. And that’s a 10/10 w your blue lumieres.

You just made my evening with this beautiful scarf-on-site @FA73! You look amazing, too. Beautiful scarf ring for the tie. Polynesia! So fabulous...

Hello, scarf friends!

Thank you for participating this week. I know not everyone knew Diana, but this is truly a great chance for us to remember that we have created a true community where friendships are born. I encourage all of you to reach out to the people whose style you like or who seem fun and interesting. Send those DMs. Start relationships. Make friends.

I wanted to share a picture of Diana wearing a Le Jardin de Leïla scarf. (I have Joel’s permission to share it). It’s actually not very Diana-esque (she didn’t normally like scarves with white backgrounds), but it makes me smile thinking of her stepping out of her scarf comfort zone. We all have those scarves!

Joel was kind enough to pass this very Le Jardin de Leïla on to me. This is my first time wearing it. Good thing I remembered to wear waterproof mascara! (I tried very hard to do the knot justice, but my skills are limited. Diana wasn’t much for fancy knots herself, so at least that’s some consolation!)

Ah, what a sweet tribute to your dear friend @AnnaE. She looks lovely with her scarf and and so do you. Le Jardin de Leila is such a pretty design and it suits you beautifully.

Adding my voice to @Nomad's and others who appreciate seeing some much-missed TPFers join for the tribute this week. Waving at @Pirula, @Bostonjetset and @momasaurus. 💙 This morning I am running pre-travel errands wearing a scarf I discovered Diana and I twinned on. This is one of the first scarves featuring birds that I added to my collection: Chacun Fait Son Nid. The reference to the nest and the colors in the scarf reminded me of this charming little oil painting DH and I collected many years ago.
