Two beautiful scarves, and we are twins with the Selene (tho I haven't worn mine yet)Good morning!
I did not know Diana, but I am truly touched by the memories you all share about her and lovely way her love of scarves are celebrated in here. It is a testament to her being a wonderful person and this being a joyful community. Thank you @AnnaE for hosting and also to all of you who share stories of a friend.
To partake in the celebration of Diana I share a brand new Dans le Bras de Selene. It is blue and Selene and Diana are both ancient godesses of the moon and sometimes considered part of same deity.
I am happy to welcome this blue moon in my collection and to be twin and sister with many of you already.
And it has squirrels.

As a summer thunderstorm is approaching I will not wear Selene today, but changed to another blue scarf - also with moons and suns and space, to extend last weeks parade of stars. Thank you @FA73 for being a wonderful host the last week.
Nothing but a Dreamer is my sotd

Wish you all a day of joy.
I am sorry it's not in the best condition, but good golly is it amazing on you!!I am sharing scarf mail I received today, a lovely and bright CSGM.
Unfortunately it arrived in a lesser condition than advertised (there are some colour runs due to washing I think) but I love the colours so wil probably keep.

Lovely post DarkStar, and your Pavements is gorgeous.Hello and good morning,
I didn't have the privilege to get to know @scarf1 / Diana. When I joined this community she didn't post anymore. But from her posts, some of which I read recently, I have the feeling that she had a strong personality and she knew how to celebrate her beautiful scarves and life in general. It seems we were twins at least on one scarf, Pavement, which @AnnaE showed earlier. I am overwhelmed to see how long missed members of this community come together again to pay tribute to their appreciated and now lost friend. This community is so much more than sharing passion for scarves. For me, it's a precious hideaway where I meet friends.View attachment 6201196
Beautiful blues Croisette!
Thank you sweetheart! What a stunner of a grail!!! Oh my word. Absolutely amazing. And on that CORAL! 😍 Huge congrats!
Oh wow this rich pink together with the mustard yellow is simply scrumptious!
This continues to be so so beautiful on you! Such a winner of a design.
So cute! I can see how you wouldn’t want to take this one off! And I love the jaunty knot with it.
Beautiful ITCW!!! You look radiant in it. Charming bandana too.
That’s very pretty congratulations! I love how it looks so different tied in the various knots.
Simply gorgeous. This design makes one of the best moussies ever. It’s spectacular on you.
Oh wow what a vividly wonderful combo of colors! You all are convincing me I need a moussie after all.
Beautifully tonal, love the styling!
Congrats!!! I’m sorry to hear the quality wasn’t quite what you were expecting. But the colors are so fun and it’s so perfectly you!
What a gorgeous pairing - your top and your flowers are perfect with the scarf!Diana once wrote on this thread that the moussie stole was probably her favorite format. So when I was looking to add a few moussie stoles, I sought out her mod shots (of which there are many, including an iconic scarf-on-site photo of her pink Rose de Compass in New York Harbor). I became her twin with the blue version, which I'm sharing today. And because she also loved flowers, a photo of my glorious Lace Cap Hydrangeas...

Simply stunning! The way you all speak so highly of Diana / scarf1 is such a testament to how being open and unconditionally supportive keeps people together. We may all be here because of a passion for scarves, but it is that loving and supportive community everyone keeps alive here that sustains it. I joined after Diana had stopped posting regularly so I never go to know her but I can say and see that the mutual respect and admiration society here is strong, not only for her but for everyone who swings by no matter how long one stays. That kind of community support is such a genuine good and rare thing that protecting it by continuing it is a great way to honor her memory too.
When I think of blue scarves, this Wild Singapore is easy to go to. It's super precious to me so I don't often wear it but I will make an effort in honor of Diana and this tremendously welcoming community of scarfies.

Hello, scarf friends!
Thank you for participating this week. I know not everyone knew Diana, but this is truly a great chance for us to remember that we have created a true community where friendships are born. I encourage all of you to reach out to the people whose style you like or who seem fun and interesting. Send those DMs. Start relationships. Make friends.
I wanted to share a picture of Diana wearing a Le Jardin de Leïla scarf. (I have Joel’s permission to share it). It’s actually not very Diana-esque (she didn’t normally like scarves with white backgrounds), but it makes me smile thinking of her stepping out of her scarf comfort zone. We all have those scarves!
Joel was kind enough to pass this very Le Jardin de Leïla on to me. This is my first time wearing it. Good thing I remembered to wear waterproof mascara! (I tried very hard to do the knot justice, but my skills are limited. Diana wasn’t much for fancy knots herself, so at least that’s some consolation!)

Beautiful and the colors suit you so. Sometimes, my scarves with a flaw or two are the most worn, they are broken in so to speak.I am sharing scarf mail I received today, a lovely and bright CSGM.
Unfortunately it arrived in a lesser condition than advertised (there are some colour runs due to washing I think) but I love the colours so wil probably keep.

And @LIvinglavidafifi... has been absent too long as well. You look lovely, darkstar ... and a great post! I miss bunnycat for so long, hope she is doing well!
You must have a wonderful green thumb with these outstanding hydrangeas. Rose Compas stole is luminous and a bit mysterious in these cool blues, like a deep lake.Diana once wrote on this thread that the moussie stole was probably her favorite format. I read an article about the sleep pattern of Orang Utans, that they need 13 hours of sleep and if deprived, take naps. Thought of you and also though about making that sleep pattern my goal. You look lovely in this scarf. The way you all speak so highly of Diana / scarf1 is such a testament to how being open and unconditionally supportive keeps people together. Thank you for sharing. Two beauties linked by the same scarf. Diana had wonderfully special pendants, too. I remember a Christmas tree pendant she showed and mentioned (a gift from her husband if I remember correctly).Hello, scarf friends!
