Super pairing and I love the shirt. Your grandmother is talented and what a treat to be able to have bespoke pieces from her!

Classy and fabulous, @Agrume!

I think this may be the prettiest styling of this one that I’ve yet seen. I did a double-take as I didn’t recognize it. Looks great tied this way!

Beautiful shawl, garden and kitty! This is lovely on you, Tea!

Wonderful hosting this week, and what a find on the Toits de Paris! Many congratulations on finding this elusive star!

It’s 36C (nearly 97F) today so much too hot for scarf wearing. Here’s an archive pic of one of the stars on my collection, the lovely Into the Canadian Wild Canada edition. That cool lake and river (and the glacier!) look very inviting about now!

I wish I’d picked up a second of these when they were still in stock. I love this little one!
Thank you so much , Lellabelle, and you are lovely with this beautiful Canada scarf.
Holy grail for me, still on the quest…
Jul 13 - Blue Week!

Hi scarf friends! As many of you know, @scarf1 (Diana) has passed away last Sunday. She was a dear friend to many of us here, and we initially bonded with her throughout her love of scarves.

This was supposed to be yellow week, but in Diana’s memory, we are making it blue week.

Diana was a scarfie (a scarfhead as her husband Joel calls us) to the end. In her final days, I was privileged to spend some time with her gossiping about scarves and discussing the upcoming scarf season. I am so sad she didn’t make it to the scarves hitting the scores here in California. She was also opining on the best colorways for other friends with Joel’s help.

Diana also really loved the color blue. She was more dedicated to the color blue than I am to the color red (seems impossible, I know). While helping Joel to look over collection, I discovered some that seemed out of characters (yellow?! Pink?!). Turns out, those were Joel’s choices (she loved shopping together!). All of hers were always blue! That’s just the color to which she always navigated.

Joel passed on a few of Diana’s scarves to me, and I am honored to be wearing one of them today: Maurice Tranchant’s Pavement. I am also wearing Diana’s bangle.

As Diana was diagnosed and treated, many of us realized that what we had created are real connections and real friendships. I think even Diana was surprised to find out how virtual friendships have grown into real ones, with people really caring about each other, celebrating life’s successes, supporting each other during tough times and being heartbroken when one of us is no longer there.

I want to take this week to not only celebrate Diana’s memory, but also celebrate the friendships we create here. I know many here become friends, sometimes virtually and sometimes in person, and that’s truly wonderful. Please join me in honoring Diana and celebrating our community.
What a lovely tribute, AnnaE, thank you!
Not being into social media otherwise, I am touched reading about the memories and stories you all share.

What a beautiful post to begin blue week to honor Diana. She will be so missed.

I’ll start with one Diana and I shared. She very wisely sought it out when it was released, I had to wait years to find mine. I remember how tickled pink she was when I finally did….

I did not know her, but she sounds like a wonderful person. I am sorry for her loss and offer my condolences to you AnnaE and to all her friends here on TPF. This is indeed a wonderful community.

I am still travelling without blue scarves but I am sharing a photo of my blue Robe Légère, who is special to me, in honour of Diana.

Ah yes, city skies! But the stars are there! Beautiful styling and knot with your top!

Lovely @Jacq1! This is such a great scarf...

So true-- this one is going to be a multi-tasker when it comes to pattern mixing @Jacq1! Lovely top from your grandmama, too.

Perfect contribution @Jacq1 and bold and successful pattern matching!

Excellent pattern matching with a beautiful shirt (I always adore your grandmother's creations) and a fabulous mousseline.

I like the mousseline - but that flower shirt even more, @Jacq1 !😍
Thank you everyone for the nice comments on my scarfs and my grandmother‘s work. She just turned 88 and for her birthday party she had several new outfits ready for my sister and I to wear. We are truly lucky to have her!

Thank you @AnnaE for the lovely tribute and to everyone else posting their blue treasures in Diana/@scarf1's memory. I am going to follow in @Croisette7's footsteps and post one that Diana and I twinned on. Here is Retour a la Nature, which I wore yesterday and refolded to show the perdominantly blue side of the shawl, which was her favorite. She was not so enamored of some of the other colors along the bottom but she loved the magenta hem. Posting also a close up of my blue hydrangeas, which she also loved.

Beautiful scarves. Diana lived her cashmeres although our weather isn’t always great for them.

I love that way of wearing Brandenbourgs, it almost looks like the way the cording is meant to be worn on a uniform.

A heartfelt tribute to a cherished friend.
Sending condolences to her family and PF friends.

Beautiful RL!

Thank you, @AnnaE, for hosting this week and honoring @scarf1. I remember post this well, even though it has been 5 years now. I had joined the Hermes scarf forum one month earlier. At this point I had posted fewer than 20 times. Buying scarves was new to me, and I was pretty excited about this acquisition. I quickly found out that I was Twins with Diana. I was thrilled with her lovely response, but more so, I felt so welcomed to this group.

From scarf1

In her honor I am wearing our mutual La Legende du Poisson Corail today. This is the blue and lavender version. Diana later purchased an all-blue colorway, and as far as I know, she continued to wear both of them.
