I reached for the same scarf as @Jereni today, and given the triple digit weather here today, Helios is definitely in total control of the cosmos at least for now! I hope the nighttime provides some relief. This scarf didn't last long on my neck and moved to my bag.

Finally, sending condolences and hugs to those who knew Diana, may she rest in peace and her memory live on and be a blessing to those who loved her.
So beautiful paired with your bag, EtsyBoss!

Thank you @Lellabelle -- it is kind of a kissing cousin to your new Grand Tralala, isn't it? The beautiful gradient blues...

What a lovely jacket @Agrume-- love the whole look!

Thank you for this beautiful post @Cookiefiend. It is nice seeing that lovely Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs and especially knowing the happy shared origin story with Diana. I do believe she would have approved of your new moussie! She and I also connected on a shared love of blue scarves, sunsets and many other interests. I will miss her presence greatly and love the idea of a blue week of remembrance. 💙 🙏:flowers:💙

Very lovely @AnnaE. I too was very affected and have been wearing blue as well.

Love this and I became your twin after you posted it @Redbirdhermes! Thank you for the enablement...

I just love this on you @GloWW0rM! And it is perfectly on theme as well as the loveliest grassy green that feels like summer...

This very happy Helios looks wonderful on you and on your bag @EtsyBoss -- everything so coordinated and cute!

This is so very true and so beautifully expressed. Thank you @Maedi...
Thank you! I never associated this with grass. I love that, especially since cut grass is one of my favourite scents.
This one is so perfect on you @GloWW0rM
Thank you, @Lellabelle.
I don't think I will resist this CSGM much longer...

Beautiful on your bag too!

I did not think of Musique des sphères! Amazing to find all these details once you start really looking!
If getting it is still an option, I would recommend it. It’s one of my favourites and it always elicits compliments when I wear it.
The green one is beyond beautiful, GloWWorM!
Thank you, @Croisette7. I think I tried it on for a whole 2 seconds before I told my SA I’m buying it!

Gorgeous around your neck and on your bag. I’m waiting on my own blue Kelly.
Good morning!

I planned to wear Musique des spheres with its celestial bodies, but needed a bit more color. But I found a planet in sotd Animapolis, so still on the right star track.

Wish you all a bright day!
Musique is so lovely. Is that silver on it?
That colourful Animapolis makes me so happy. I am waiting for it to appear somewhere, some day.
Very sorry to hear about the loss of a member of our community and my condolences to those affected.

Today is somewhat a tangential theme, with a different angle, which I hope you will find fun! As I was reading about our superstitions and beliefs related to stars, and their symbolism, I thought about the abundance of expressions using "star" which are often linked to hope, success, and wonder. In our universe of scarf hunting, we employ a myriad of those.

Play along with me to illustrate some of those! How about reaching for the stars, for those unattainable grails? Some of which are very often, shooting stars, you know, the ones that appear for about 30 seconds on a retail site or at an auction? Many of you have a star-studded collection. And my favorite, when the stars are aligned, as it happened to me for two pieces.

On these two separate occasions, I was on vacation in France, the first time in a small village in the southwest, the second time in Paris. Both times, I had just set my mind on a scarf. I leisurely start to go online, you know, without much conviction, between siesta and rosé. And what were the odds for me to find the scarves immediately, on a site called Le Bon Coin? For those who do not know it, Le Bon Coin is a French platform that puts buyers and sellers in touch with each other. Mind you, I don’t think it is particularly known for Hermès scarves either. And works like Facebook Marketplace, you have to have a local phone number and most often you have to meet the seller in person. So not only did I find the scarves immediately, in the right condition, in the right colorway, at a very sweet price BUT the sellers happened to be in my vicinity??!!! Paris is Paris but this small remote village in the southwest? So, believe it or not, I went to get my Expéditions polaires françaises (which has stars!) at the village bakery-café and EleK at the nearest metro station…

Looking forward to reading some of your stories!
Wow - what great stories for your two beauties. I love the colours in your ELeK. It’s the one for me but I only ever see the orange on resell.

Welcome @Serpentine2806 ! You certainly picked three great options to choose from, and I don’t think you could go far wrong with any of these!

Without knowing anything about your colouring, or wardrobe, it’s hard to advise which would be the best choice for you. Circular oriented designs tie well and all of these look great modelled. I would also choose the Orphee, for a few reasons: the scale of the design is great, the colourway is very versatile, the design itself is charming (pun intended!) and the designer is beloved by scarf fans. I expect this will be a very wearable shawl, that you’ll get lots of use out of.

I love the Chorus Stellarum design, but prefer it in smaller formats due to the scale. the Eperons is an elegant darker neutral, that would also be easy to wear.

Thank you all.
I tend to wear mostly cool and neutral tones – blues, greys, black, red, and white. I don’t have many patterns in my wardrobe, and my favourite piece of clothing is a collared shirt :) I also find the size and design of the shawl really appealing. As I’m unlikely to splash out on another one any time soon, wearability is important to me.

I did notice that the colours look different on the models compared to the standalone shawl images – the ones on the models seem more saturated. Is that accurate?

P.S. My apologies to all – I thought I was posting my question in a slightly different, more appropriate thread.

Good morning Scarflandia - yesterday we lost a beloved member of our sweet community. Our dear @scarf1 lost her long battle with cancer.

I met Diana and @momasaurus in San Francisco in 2018 - we had a lovely lunch just off Union Square and then went to H, where we also met Mr Scarf1 - he is also a delightful person as you would expect. That day Diana and I became twins with La Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs!
I sadly don’t have any pictures from that day but here is an archive photo of LMdesOP

Since 2018, Diana has been a marvelous friend to me and many of us. Over the years we’ve had conversations about so many things - her love of Hawaii, chocolate desserts or crème brûlée, and her love of BLUE.
Another thing she loved was the moussie stoles - I had scarf mail yesterday - a blue changeant moussie - Dancing Pearls.
I know she would have loved it!

Next week is supposed to be Yellow Week, but to celebrate Diana, we’re going to make it Blue Week - please join us!

But she also loved H - so any Hermes scarf would make her happy!
I am sorry to hear about Diana. What a lovely tribute for a friend, Cookie.
Lovely tie showing the colors on the other side

@Lellabelle ’s analysis is spot on. Technically I shouldn’t recommend anything without knowing more about your typical wardrobe/colors but I’m unabashedly biased towards the d’Orphee.

Thank you! Regarding the bangle, it’s a fashion piece but a near perfect replica of a gold-and-diamonds version that was ‘too rich for my blood’ at the time I first came across it. And this one is white sapphires as opposed to something like CZ so that’s nice. I’ll send you a DM with more info on both ‘versions.’

Charming look with the jacket!
Thank you, Jereni!

We had an amazing storm over the water last night and a sunset through rain and sheet lightning. The fireworks of last weekend have nothing over Mother Nature! Before the storm it was far far too humid 😓 to make anything on one's neck feel like a rational prospect. So I tied my scarf around my top in a style I learned from @Joannadyne.

Looking forward to reading some of your stories!
These are fantastic origin stories @FA73. I am so happy that you introduced this theme expansion because I love learning about scarf encounters of this kind as we build or add to our collections. I actually recently acquired Expeditions Polaires after seeing yours, but in a more mundane transaction. Nevertheless, it felt like the thrill of a star shooting across my silk sky when I saw it on Its All Goode and immediately "binned" it, as they say. Love your styling of ELeK as well-- it is a gorgeous cw. Delighted to be your double twin now!
Thank you so much, I have to more in bright colours:

All your "Texas" cws are gorgeous @Croisette7 and this silvery Sur un Tapis Volante is celestial and beautiful-- especially on pale blue.
Today for Diana I’m wearing MY Maison des oiseaux parleurs, which I did not buy the day we met up with @Cookiefiend, but much later. I have a photo of the SA showing us this scarf! It always makes me think fondly of Diana and Cookie.
So lovely to see you @momasaurus! I have this design in a different cw but I will now associate it always with your meetup and Diana's memory as well. She loved whimsical designs...

@Serpentine2806 -- when I was building my CSGM collection I found the Ode to the CSGM thread very very helpful. I have the Orphee you posted and have shared a lot of mod shots here over the past year. I think you can get a better sense of colors from searching our threads, but with respect to the three shawls you mentioned, I think the colors are pretty accurate in the H model photos, the flat photos are often slightly flat. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/ode-to-the-cashmere-silk-gm-tri-shawls.845724/

Wow! I guess you can ...thank your lucky stars... @FA73 because that sort of luck is out of this world! What a way to remember a scarf coming to you, so very cool and those are both really great designs too! I love the white sled dog pups and of course your ELEK (twins with you on that!) <3
