I reached for the same scarf as @Jereni today, and given the triple digit weather here today, Helios is definitely in total control of the cosmos at least for now! I hope the nighttime provides some relief. This scarf didn't last long on my neck and moved to my bag.

Finally, sending condolences and hugs to those who knew Diana, may she rest in peace and her memory live on and be a blessing to those who loved her.

Stunning! 💙
Thank you @Lellabelle -- it is kind of a kissing cousin to your new Grand Tralala, isn't it? The beautiful gradient blues...
Off theme, with an antidote to this wet and windy day: Hermès on the beach.

What a lovely jacket @Agrume-- love the whole look!
Good morning Scarflandia - yesterday we lost a beloved member of our sweet community. Our dear @scarf1 lost her long battle with cancer.

I met Diana and @momasaurus in San Francisco in 2018 - we had a lovely lunch just off Union Square and then went to H, where we also met Mr Scarf1 - he is also a delightful person as you would expect. That day Diana and I became twins with La Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs!
I sadly don’t have any pictures from that day but here is an archive photo of LMdesOP

Since 2018, Diana has been a marvelous friend to me and many of us. Over the years we’ve had conversations about so many things - her love of Hawaii, chocolate desserts or crème brûlée, and her love of BLUE.
Another thing she loved was the moussie stoles - I had scarf mail yesterday - a blue changeant moussie - Dancing Pearls.
I know she would have loved it!

Next week is supposed to be Yellow Week, but to celebrate Diana, we’re going to make it Blue Week - please join us!

But she also loved H - so any Hermes scarf would make her happy!
Thank you for this beautiful post @Cookiefiend. It is nice seeing that lovely Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs and especially knowing the happy shared origin story with Diana. I do believe she would have approved of your new moussie! She and I also connected on a shared love of blue scarves, sunsets and many other interests. I will miss her presence greatly and love the idea of a blue week of remembrance. 💙 🙏:flowers:💙
Diana’s loss has affected many of us heavily. For the past few weeks as she was struggling with the disease, I wore a lot of blue to honor her. Here are some selections:

Very lovely @AnnaE. I too was very affected and have been wearing blue as well.
So sorry to hear of the loss of @scarf1, and condolences to her family and friends. I remember well her love of blue.

I've said it before and it is still true. The many stars filling the skies above the Grand Canyon is my favorite bandana design.

Les Canyons Etoiles bandana is my scarf of the day.

Love this and I became your twin after you posted it @Redbirdhermes! Thank you for the enablement...
I love summer but I miss my snuggling up in CSGM. Archive photo of Clair de Lune.

I just love this on you @GloWW0rM! And it is perfectly on theme as well as the loveliest grassy green that feels like summer...

This very happy Helios looks wonderful on you and on your bag @EtsyBoss -- everything so coordinated and cute!
What beautiful words and tributes. I remember Diana's presence well, her love for blues, mousseline, the water and traveling. This is an interesting community where even if we haven't met in person, we feel such bonds to each other and worry and wonder when members post less or not any longer. Thank you for sharing the information and sharing the special memories.
This is so very true and so beautifully expressed. Thank you @Maedi...

Thank you for another great hosting post @FA73! I'm a fellow traveler on the astronomy front (Libra here) and love collecting these designs. I have several iterations of Astronomy but not a CSGM-- I love your brilliant cw! Gorgeous. Sisters on the Fantaisies. My understanding is that the design Zodiaque, designed by Hugo Grykar in 1938 was adapted by Loïc Dubigeon and retitled Hemispharium Coeli Borealis in 1998 and reissued in SS 2009. I will plan to wear it tomorrow, but meantime here is a photo and the what I have been able to find of the story...

"Facing the sky and its thousands of ever-changing stars, man invented constellations to guide him, the universal reference points of today. Strange animals and mythological characters thus integrated the celestial vault, influencing the destiny and intentions of man. The carré Zodiaque represents the skies, such as imagined during the Renaissance period and the Neo-Classical Age. These celestial Atlases having inspired our design, one of the first by Hermès, are safely kept in the French National Library. After its creation in 1938, the design was used to adorn ladies’ swimwear."

Thank you for sharing Hemispharium Coeli Borealis (another beautiful blue!) @LKBNOLA and the story behind.
Soooooo hot today but I was able to grab a quick shot of my outer space themed scarf. With ⭐️ ⭐️!View attachment 6198825
Such a fun and playful design @Teaforparrots!
Very much on theme and sub-theme today as I am wearing a beautiful blue mousseline in honor of a beautiful mousseline and blue-loving friend: Astrologie Sunrise

Beautiful on your bag too!
Good morning!

I planned to wear Musique des spheres with its celestial bodies, but needed a bit more color. But I found a planet in sotd Animapolis, so still on the right star track.

Wish you all a bright day!
I did not think of Musique des sphères! Amazing to find all these details once you start really looking!

Very sorry to hear about the loss of a member of our community and my condolences to those affected.

Today is somewhat a tangential theme, with a different angle, which I hope you will find fun! As I was reading about our superstitions and beliefs related to stars, and their symbolism, I thought about the abundance of expressions using "star" which are often linked to hope, success, and wonder. In our universe of scarf hunting, we employ a myriad of those.

Play along with me to illustrate some of those! How about reaching for the stars, for those unattainable grails? Some of which are very often, shooting stars, you know, the ones that appear for about 30 seconds on a retail site or at an auction? Many of you have a star-studded collection. And my favorite, when the stars are aligned, as it happened to me for two pieces.

On these two separate occasions, I was on vacation in France, the first time in a small village in the southwest, the second time in Paris. Both times, I had just set my mind on a scarf. I leisurely start to go online, you know, without much conviction, between siesta and rosé. And what were the odds for me to find the scarves immediately, on a site called Le Bon Coin? For those who do not know it, Le Bon Coin is a French platform that puts buyers and sellers in touch with each other. Mind you, I don’t think it is particularly known for Hermès scarves either. And works like Facebook Marketplace, you have to have a local phone number and most often you have to meet the seller in person. So not only did I find the scarves immediately, in the right condition, in the right colorway, at a very sweet price BUT the sellers happened to be in my vicinity??!!! Paris is Paris but this small remote village in the southwest? So, believe it or not, I went to get my Expéditions polaires françaises (which has stars!) at the village bakery-café and EleK at the nearest metro station…
