SOTE later to have dinner with friends, so decided to take the mod shot early. Pelages et Camouflage by Aline Honore is one of my favorites, thanks to dear @LKBNOLA who alerted me to it on TRR some years ago. All those beautiful animal furs that vividly remind us of the beauty and utility in nature’s magnificent fauna. Beadwork necklaces and tribal fabrics add to the exotica. I paired it with my own beadwork and pearl jewelry - a lapis and gold heart necklace that was a gift some years ago and a bracelet and earrings I helped design with my wonderful local jeweler, Theresa Girzone, adding one lapis heart to the bracelet as a charm. The St Germain MOP chain d’ancre holds the scarf together. Finally, please note the H fur - Hermes’ own imaginary creature. I’m assigning it feline status, of course .

Some of my own exotic furry friends of times past. These three have coats that would be right at home in PeC.
Cobweb (nicknamed Growlpuddy by my three year old niece at the time).

Broodji - auditioning for Oliver!, I think.

I would like to give you 3 wows, but there's only one possible...
You are way too nice @darkstar66 but it was fun to look back over the last five years of collecting, my "CCP" changes (post white hair and retirement) and careful-- even obsessive--searching for just "the ones" to add!
Thank you for sharing the black Passementerie, a fantastic colour combo. ... and happy blue Orto-twinsie!
💙 :flowers:
Your collection of Plumes is TDF @Croisette7 and thank you so much for sharing the Coupons. I hope @Jereni and others here will find them as helpful as I did during my search! So generous to share. Still my favorite is the first one -- just love the colors! Love the Lea Stein pin and the CdC by the box of Plume-- a beautiful cuff that must pair well with many silks...
Thank you, Helena! To be called Croisette here in this blog is the best compliment I can imagine. :flowers:
A compliment we all aspire to @Agrume! ;)
Gorgeous, HE. I love the colors and that scarf ring, which I believe your husband made for you, is stunning. Thank you for hosting such a gun and informative week, despite not being able to join in this week.

For Christmas, my DH gave me a beautiful book of animal art by a most beloved artist. I quite adore it.

The book echoes drawings and artwork found on many of Dallet’s scarves, including Dans l’atelier de Robert Dallet, which I am wearing today in a similar knot as our @HermesEchidna.

Stripes, gingham and more stripes on my blouse.

Great look @Karenska! And I have (and love!) this book as well.
Here we have a knight sporting feathers from his helmet, wearing hand-made armor, decorated with tassels, all on a hand-stitched scarf.

Deo Juvante Monaco is my scarf of the day.

I know this was a special find @Redbirdhermes! It looks wonderful on your white sweater.
First time out with my All’ Orto Botanico to the theatre. I was meant to wait until my birthday to wear it (as a present to myself) but that means waiting another two months so I decided I’ve waited long enough!

In hindsight this sweater isn’t the best for Orto. Will try with a cream sweater next time.
It is so stunning @GloWW0rM -- a beautiful un-birthday birthday present to you!

The scarf looks beautiful with your lovely lapis pieces @Karenska and how sweet to see the kitties -- much loved and missed, I know. :hugs:

We’ve talked about clever hands making jewelry and accessories for people to wear, but let’s not forget the accessories made for our furry companions, like these fancy dog collars. It’s an amazingly bright day with a few cold and snowy days coming up!View attachment 6118318
I love how you styled this @Teaforparrots and was hoping it would make an appearance! Stay safe and warm in the coming cold.

Thank you, dear Lkb. I do miss my darling cats. The situation is getting desperate, I think. When I took my holiday decorations to our climate-controlled room that we rent, I saw my two cat carriers and I brought one home :giggle:. Then I thought - one? Yeah, no worries, two kittens can fit in one carrier . Not completely ready to take the plunge but ……

I love the scarves and styles you have been showing, Lkb!

I thought you’d like to know that the book photos are the Indochinese Tiger and two studies of the Snow Leopard. The cover depicts the Clouded Leopard. All so beautifully rendered.

Scarf mail, entirely influenced by this thread! I passed on En Liberte when it came out because I wasn’t following new releases as closely and just skimmed past when I saw all of the dogs. Since returning to this thread, it feels like this design is posted on at least a weekly basis and every colorway is so beautiful. I settled on this one as my favorite and it recently popped up for resale in great condition. Thanks to everyone for the enablement, very happy with my new addition!
