Oh, and thank you (but should it be, no thank you) @HermesEchidna for putting the Patronus idea in my head. Like @Lellabelle and @xincinsin I needed to find out.
I took the quiz...I was musing last week about the wise and mysterious owl as my desired spirit animal.

And my Patronus is.... drum roll... The Chow dog

My pride is a little hurt, but at least I am cute 🤣🤣🤣
YES!! Isn’t it just the most insanely gorgeous blue?
Joining you today, indigo twin! So happy to have enabled you on this beauty!

The colour is amazing, and it’s impossible to photograph. It actually glows in direct sunlight. This is in the middle of a hailstorm this morning, with heavy grey cloud and low light. It’s still luminous 💙
I had planned to wear something orange today as part of the O in ROYGBIV because I did red yesterday but it turned out to be cooler day then I thought and having no orange CGSM I opted to 'pull the easy switch' and wear a fave - Epopee in a comfort blue against teal green. It was a good choice for the waiting room of the pharmacy where I had round 1 of the 2 dose shingles vaccine.

Feeling good so far, just a little soreness at the injection site. Given a weekend of digging holes and transplanting garden plants, scrubbing shower grout, and a big swim on Saturday and again today, it is entirely understandable my arm/s will be sore. Rest is on deck!
And here is the orange I was planning to wear if the weather had cooperated! Some nice touches of deep blue indigo to follow @xincinsin's lead. This is Quatre Saisons.

So very beautiful @FA73. I am going to "put myself to school" on your ties/stylings for this one! Love the pop of unexpected red!Thank you @xincinsin for hosting colors of a rainbow 🌈
I think the exact color of the border of my HG is light violet!

Wow! Congratulations on your Indigo Foncé Three Graces @xincinsin -- I love your Charmes de Plages Normandes so much (and I even recently acquired a lovely one myself!). Twins on Lumiere-- the most beautiful blues! And thanks to the wonderful community here I am also your recent Wild Singapore twin. Your necklace is stunning (along with your scarves)...Let's go for Indigo today!
The H indigo for leather is dull dark blue that can appear almost black. Luckily the H indigo for scarves is much brighter. Inspired by @Lellabelle right at the tail end of 2024, I finally took the plunge and bought the indigo fonce cw of Three Graces

I haven't worn it yet as the weather is dreary right now (flash floods!), but I am totally loving it
Interesting factoid about indigo, scientists who studied Newton's work believe that his usage of "indigo" equates to our modern "blue", and Newton's "blue" was our "cyan". Well, that really opens up the field for me tomorrow, doesn't it?(thinks hard - do I have any scarves in cyan?)
On my merry way towards blue in either sense of the word, allow me to introduce a wonderful bright blue that is my fave as well as kissing cousins with indigo. H produced several scarves that had Klein blue in the listed cw.
This is Charmes des Plages Normandes in bleu marine and bleu klein. The two shades of blue (you can see them in the close-up) are equally intense.
View attachment 6161039
Klein blue is a vivid blue that reminds me of lapis lazuli. Another fun fact: this intensely blue semi-precious stone was ground up in ancient times to be made into the pigment ultramarine.

And lastly, the limited ed cw of Wild Singapore uses a brilliant blue as an accent colour. I can assure you that our mangrove swamps do not look like an alien landscape

Wow. I hope there was no Fife and Drum involved in this reenactment given your migraine @Teaforparrots! Good for you to go anyway and wrapped in a perfect shawl for the day, too...I woke up with a terrible migraine but went to Concord anyway for some civic engagement. It was very beautiful and this scarf provided just the right amount of warmth. Bonus photo from yesterday’s re-enactment of the Battle of Menotomy.View attachment 6161049View attachment 6161050View attachment 6161051
I just love this on you @Jereni! The brights look lovely against you pale blue top and your lipstick is perfect!Channeling @GloWW0rM today with my Maîtres, I guess it’s somewhat on sub-theme bc of the indigo -like border.

We are twins on the Brandebourg and I am simpatica with the jet lag/post trip situation @CoastalCouture. I have a similar cardigan and am thinking I would like to try this pairing too... if you find out the secret to outdoor mod shots please share. As far as I know it involves something called "portrait mode" and just the right amount of shade. Mine are always overeposed!I woke up this morning on the other side of the country. Not a lot of sleep happened on the old red-eye flight but, I thought I'd take a stab at wearing one of the scarves I brought with me. This one has all the colours, so I'm covering all my bases! I'll need to learn to take outdoor photos earlier in the day. Here we have Brandebourgs Fleuris:

An "Owl Prowl" sounds like a wonderful trip to take @shrpthorn! I collect owl figures and other things as I adopted owls, dolphins and doves as spirit animals/daemon familiars long ago when I was but a girl, as they say...pre-Harry Potter for sure! Beautiful cws of both those designs and how fun to find a lobster on a scarf!Off topic but wanted to include my Patronus photos (owl). SOTD is Into the Canadian Wild - the dark one - bought this because the sky reminded of the wonderful milky way at night with no light pollution when camping in the Canadian North. Bonus photo of a snowy owl we took on an "owl prowl" several years ago. Alas no sightings this year when we went. [& yes, it's SNOWING in the background.

Well, I am glad you wore something warm and fun @EtsyBoss! It is so important to get that double dose vaccine but I found it to be a miserable post-injection experience. Maybe I should have gotten to work right away as you did! Thank you all for your nice comments on my Easter post! It is nice to be home after a lovely unplugged holiday. Y'all are very nice to admire my hat, which is new and I am in love with it so thank you for indulging me. The best feature is that I can pull my hair through a velcro strap in the back and lie flat against a lounge chair to read!!! And while I was on vacation, my bag was more regularly scarfed than I was! Can a hat can be a power accessory even on a beach?

I am back for a few days and looking forward to some ROYBGIV pops of color this week. Thank you to @xincinsin for what is bound to be a fun week. And thank you to @Lellabelle-- so sorry to have missed the week but I will go back and study all the smart posts and styling advice (not that I am in Power Scarf Mode in these retirement days but I always like reading fashion tips!).
Still unpacking here but by coincidence, I will share a new-to-me scarf in lots of the rainbow colors that arrived just in time for me to take on our beach vacation: a 90 cotton embroidered Thalassa. I am actually wearing it wrong side out because I am in love with the white dots on the embroidered underside!
