The focus is often on the animals in the cards on Dame de Coeur. But careful observation shows that there are other little critters running around the scarf outside of the cards.

Dame de Coeur a Vous l'Honneur is my scarf of the day. You can just make out the fish and the hare today.

Such a charming scarf with so many details to discover! I think I have to find one.😍

Good morning Scarflandia and Happy Thursday! There are lots of adorable critters on Christine Henry's Peuple du Vent: a cute donkey, a dapper monkey, butterflies, birds and cute little turtles, too.

Oh yes, I can see the similarities!💙 Christine Henry is really one of the best to draw real and imaginary creatures in the most awsome and funny way.

Welp, our weather is going backwards here in the Midwest! We actually had flurries this afternoon for a short time. It's a bit chilly so I pulled out a scarf for a late dinner date with the hubby. View attachment 6156305
So lovely - and that hem is the perfect complement... and your jacket... and your hair - lovely!
The weather in the Midwest however... not so much. We had sleet and then rain and I may have said a bad word or two. 😠
Good morning!!

Today I would like to look at Corners and borders!

The original inspiration for this theme was my amusement of the corner critters of several Dallet designs. I love how the main caracters, often Big cats, are surrounded by other wildlife running around in the corners or even being a part of the border.

Sometime there are good reasons for their escapes as in tendresse felines, where they are chased by the kittens, in other designs they are just being playful.

Of course this has a lot of overlap with the last days focus on cuties and bugs, as it is often the tiny ones Living at the edge, but other favourite ones are the ermine(?) on Legende brodere and the red pandas of Sichuan.

In other examples the animals themselves create the border or pattern in the scarf as the zebras on Tropiques or the bees in object de curiosites which many of you has already delighted us with this week

And sometimes there is just that single critter in the corner which make you want to tie to showcase it - as the flying fish in Sur mon nuage

Or my newly arrived Hermes story, which I have yet to learn how to tie

Finally my sotd (yes I am home with my collection again 😊) which @Cookiefiend and others have already pointed to - the ultimate Hermes border on Tous les bateaux du monde

Wish you all a terrific Thursday!!
There it is - the pink TlesBM - amazing!!! And that orange hem! :faint:
I love the red pandas too on Sichuan!
Hello and good morning,
I'm travelling today and brought my Jardins de Soie along. It's still very chilly in the morning, the difference in temperature during the day is about 18° C. The nice and whimsical creatures are keeping me warm.View attachment 6156376View attachment 6156377View attachment 6156378View attachment 6156379View attachment 6156380View attachment 6156381

What a lovely sweet pink!

Oh I love your post @HermesEchidna - you brought out "all the big guns" today. Those are some of my favorite animal scarves. I've been yearning for a Tendresse Feline because of the animals in that one and those two corners in particular. It's so nice to see them in such detail. Tous les Bateaux is another on my dream list.

Here are my sister shots <3

What a beautiful colorway you have for this gorgeous design. I love how all of the colors work so well together. Those little turtles are so fun! Sisters with you, with a much different vibe in a different blue. I found the dapper monkey.

A combo of too much work to get done inside and too much exercise yesterday (12,000 steps + 1.5 miles swim) has left me sore in places I've not felt in a while. This week I've swum almost 8,000 yards so far. Two more swims to go tomorrow and Saturday. Curling up on the couch under a blanket with a book sounds super appealing! Because I may not leave the house today, I'll share an archive shot of one of those famous Dallet corners @HermesEchidna mentioned.

This is a Eurasian spoonbill from Halte en Camargue, a place I would absolutely *love* to go birdwatching!

I cannot resist popping back on to show some critters on sight/site during our morning beach walk! Besides the ones around my neck, I mean... We have to be quite careful because some dune restoration and nesting areas are along our way but fortunately the beach is big enough for us all to enjoy...

And for our leader @HermesEchidna, here are some shore birds in the corner of Compagnons de Mer, and some on the jetty this morning!

I think 1 day of relaxation between 2 days of exercises is very important. As far as I know it's during the recovery that the muscles grow (can you say so? Sounds strange...🫣). Anyway, I wish you a nice and cosy day, EtsyBoss.
