I love this design @Jacq1. We do not see this often enough!I am joining in your sub theme today with my SOTD - sometimes we need some quietness in our scarves in stead of loud colors.
Fantaisies Botaniques is my one true neutral and Zen scarf

I love that Winter Walk and of course I adore the argent Emile! What a lovely calming post @Cookiefiend. I hope you can keep Mr. Cookie on task and then reward yourself with a new scarf!Zomg - it’s already Thursday!
I’ve spent most of my day thus far (prolly returning to the same task after this teeny break), inventorying our cellar. After our move(s) and giant purge - I have no idea what we have or where it is.
And I’m trying to do this in the company of Mr Cookie - who is a great guy, but has the attention span of a two year old, and tends to put things away in the same fashion.
So - it’s taking a while and is somewhat stressful.
I need some H Zen. (No - I haven’t bought any H today… yet)
But some calm color zen.
In the shade of gray, but then
A few other colors, now and again
With Argent

Or - just black + white = gray!

But my favorite gray scarf is truly so calm - even the name is calming - a walk in the winter woods sounds so quiet and peaceful… and as a bonus - this fabulous yellow hem!

Another beautiful color collage! I am going to steal this idea. I make collages of my travel outfits and certain artists' designs but I have never done collages by color. Brilliant. You can really see your collections' attributes in a different way. Thank you for the 💡 @Jereni. I love all of these on you and particularly love your Brazil detail and your DuJA. We are twins on Tresors, Corail, ELeK and Emile. I never thought of these as cranberry but now I have a name to put to this grouping/crush.To shamelessly steal LKB’s verbiage, my recent scarf ‘color crush’ has been cranberry red. This more or less started with my first DuJA but then kicked into high gear once I got Trésors d’un Artiste. I don’t have a ton of pieces with this color yet but the obsession is still going strong so I don’t have much hope for keeping things reasonable.
Archive pics, where the scarf has at least a hint of this tone.

Admittedly today I’m off topic with one of my Le Châle Bleu scarves that features this kind of red.

Hahaha. Don't let it happen again @HermesEchidna. You must always have your orange bag, no matter what. Also I love your "buyer's remorse by proxy" -- that made meI am afraid it is true, and yes that is very uncaracteristic for me. Really do not know what happened.
I went with every intent of leaving with the dark cw of Nous somme inseparables (I believe you have it?!), but though gorgeous it is, it did not sing to me, and other designs I had considered was not even in the store.
But yes. I should have got a lipstick instead. 🤦♀️
Well, congratulations @Redbirdhermes! well worth the wait (though I actually rather love your pink!). I have a much loved moussie and a 90 but your bright one is just magical. Truly. Rainbow happiness is such a good description! My first Under the Waves was the orange mousseline in brand new condition for well under retail. It was a must-buy while I continued to look for a 90.

My second Under the Waves was a 90, but it was pink with lots of coral. This was my placeholder for over two years.

My hunt continued for this colorway. The bright cobalt blue with lots of red, and all the other rainbow colors.

It finally arrived last year in new with tags condition. A bit over retail, but, oh my, these amazing colors make my heart sing.
My scarf of the day is Under the Waves in cobalt blue with red, and lots of rainbow happiness.

What a fantastic dress! And the perfect scarf match for it @Teaforparrots! I am trepidatious about yellow also but H has helped me dip my toe in that color, too.I had actually never owned a yellow garment/accessory until I discovered that Hermès did some shades of yellow that I could actually wear. Otherwise those shades seem to be thin on the ground!
After that I noticed that a local linen fabric store had fabric in a color that looked right for me, and I wished I had more time to sew.
Then, miraculously, a designer whose work I follow (Lisa Bayne) decided to produce a linen dress in that shade, in a petite size that fits my shoulders and in a silhouette that works for me. So: now I get to have a shirt dress! It’s a great backdrop for my purple FdC. I’m very fortunate to have it.

One of my favorite colors is not the color so much but a type. Icy blues, minty greens, soft pastels.
Cheval Sirene is a wonderful example, my SOYD. It has not gotten nearly enough neck time but I am determined to right this wrong this spring…

Oh, it’s this Toucans de Paradis. I’m very tempted by the idea of the background color and the raspberry sort of hem:

I see pics like the above and this one, which get me excited:

But then also pics where the color looks more like this and it’s like - “oh ok no nevermind.”

Following our dear @LKBNOLA's example and showing my favorite scarf with favorite colors, the palette of blue, the splash of orange, a favorite format too. It is perfection, the first one I hunted and quite irreplaceable now...

Thank you, sweet @Jereni! You are correct, I have not collected NDop. Yours is beautiful on you. You sent me down a ruminative lane with your post: ELeK in that cw was a "gateway" scarf for me; Sintra in that cw was an early grail I was overjoyed to find; of four Animapolis cws, I kept the one you have and added the SE; I loved Hermès Factory on sight (both sides equally) and when Minuit au Faubourg was reissued, I bought two cws and kept this "teal" (which I consider a bright black!). I think it is oddly elegant in a way I did not expect! Thank you for posting your collex-- it is so helpful to see them all together. I periodically do this to help with planning purchases (so I don't keep buying the "same" scarf!!!!).
@Jereni, I had this and let it go. The colors are fabulous but I found it hard to tie. I think it would be amazing on you and you like the bib knot, which might work to show more of the beautiful design...

Well, I think that's how we all build our collections @Jereni! By what @Teaforparrots calls "the transitive properties of enablement" on the thread. You have built a beautiful collection that suits you perfectly and if I have had any small part in your choices it makes me very happy.Glad to hear the collages are useful! That’s funny we have so many in common but then again yeah I copy you frequently, it’s true.
Thank you for sharing this! And good point about the bib knot. Would you say this color is true, i.e. the background is a deep teal and not the more aqua tone of the third image I shared? It looks more properly teal in your photo.
Isn't it so beautiful @CoastalCouture? I can't wait to see you styling of it!@LKBNOLA we are twins on this colourway! So many different details to choose from when you tie it. I am especially fond of showcasing the soft green tassels and the rosy bits. Love how you have tied it
I'll see what I can do tomorrow!Isn't it so beautiful @CoastalCouture? I can't wait to see you styling of it!
What a lovely colorway of this beautiful design. Thank you for sharing it, and I hope it comes into your regular rotation. Stunning on you.Inspired by @Redbirdhermes I wore my Under the Waves today. I love the yellows in it!

Vermillion loves you. All three are absolutely spectacular and I can’t pick a favorite.Besides pink and red, I also love vermilion. I find it such a brightening shade, particularly suitable in spring and summer or even at Christmas.
I am travelling right now but brought my Bal de Soie and intend to wear it a lot when I arrive
View attachment 6153336
I also love this shade in my Tulipomanie and it really brightens my Botanica Grafica too.
