Thank you so much! I honestly can’t talk enough about this 70. Agree that it is a sleeper hit, altho I also had my eye on it from the pre-season pics. I keep thinking about getting another colorway. I’m tempted by the purple one but I haven’t seen it in person and I’m scared of the tone of orange.
Gah. So, so beautiful. I have not been overly tempted by this design relative to others but everytime you ladies post this awesome blue one, my willpower starts crumbling more and more.

Thank you all for an amazing SOTD 2023! The Oscarfs Week did not disappoint! I loved seeing everyone's categories and choices, even if I didn't get to drop by much. Thank you to @Living.la.vida.fifi for hosting a spectacular week!
This year's changeover was the weirdest timing ever because January 1st was on Monday, so we went a whole week technically connected to last year because of the way the year ended, but actually in 2024. I hope that is not an inauspicious start for my year....(Really...)
But, it all turned out for the best, as our brilliant @xincinsin has given me a favorite concept week gloried up with a theme name. Yes, this week is a "no theme" theme week in disguise! What I like to call a "Chaos Week" where literally anything goes and you can't go wrong with anything you wear.

I'll start off with my Marble Bandana this week. The bright, happy colors of this bandana can't help but bring a smile to the face.

These shades of red suit you so beautifully @Maedi and the echo of the red in coats lining is a really nice bridge btw the red scarf and dark coat.

For 24 hours we have been having the most miserable weather: super cold followed by tremendous winds and torrential rains. We even lost power last night... but you know what? Cute horses in blankets cheer me up. Dip dyes cheer me up and cozy cashmere cheers me up too. SOYE (before the storm) bringing some chaos into the mix: Imprimeur Fou Couvertures et Tenues/Ex Libris CSGM-- I have long wanted one of the "printer's errors" designs and am so happy to have added this one! Lots of enablements over the years, but I believe @xincinsin and @Redbirdhermes have a cotton/silk version and I saw this exact cw on @Sammy Royal in the 2017 threads...

Yes, the orange could be hard to wear. I think there are only 6 color ways for this design? While I can't wear them all, I do find them all sublime for the way the colors play off one another. Worth trying that purple one to see how the orange features in various ties. I'm tempted to pick up a second one, too, but at the moment I've got my eye on another 70, Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere Decoupage. Just waiting to see what other cw's appear.

"For this delicate design, Florence Manlik was inspired by illustrations from a German album of saddlery and buckles from the early 20th century, which is kept in the Emile Hermes collection. The rooster and ostrich feathers recall the splendor of the parades of yesteryear, during which the horses' bridles were decorated with feather arrangements known as plumes. The "tail" decorations made of horsehair complete the ceremonial ornaments of these colorful carriages."
My scarf of the day is Plumets et Panaches. Of course, I picked the brightest colorway, because it makes me happy. The polka dots are a fun bonus.
