Yay nice work on the outside mod shot!!! Beautiful Silk Quest!!! The details pop nicely. I so wanted this design in a gavroche but couldn’t get a colorway to work.

Mittens is generally a pretty willing, if confused, scarf model. I really hoped that I would use my horse as a model, but turns out, he has the world’s thickest neck, so it’s a bit of a struggle in that domain

Well maybe tie two CSGMs together for a kind of horse bandana?

@Cordeliere I loved your honest and hilarious post today. I too am on the selfie struggle bus and it takes me like 10-12 attempts to get it right. I then try to crop it to death to make it look better. I didn’t crop this one in solidarity with you, and it’s not my best or fave. RIP to the 🍒 sweater in this throwback pic of sadly what was the only other time I put on Jaguar Quetzal.

But you did get it right, dear Foxi Trini! Great mod shots. As for JQ, did you ultimately not keep it, is that what you mean? It’s quite lovely.

Thanks to many of you for the kind words. I wore this mousseline today… I think this one is so fun for me personally because the design feels almost…trashy to me. It’s something about the animal print that always makes me wary. Maybe it’s just me wearing it with a giant Patagonia jacket (forgot to preheat the car this morning). View attachment 5926773

Haha! Only in my dreams! Even folding a scarf anywhere near Pickles causes (everyone- even MrBcat) palpitations. He has no filter with anything in the air and spends almost every moment when we go out in the yard chasing butterflies, leaves in the wind, flying bugs, and squirrels running along the top of the fence.

My SOTD was En Studio. Such a happy scarf that isn't double-sided, but wears like two different scarves depending on how it's folded. I didn't have time to take 2 photos today, but in this pic I'm showing my favorite corner:

Grand Carosse Royal always delivers imo.
It is also appropriate this week as the Queen of Denmark recently announced she will abdicate on Sunday - and the carosse in the design is a quite exact drawing of one of her ceremonial carriages, which will probably get out of the stable for that occasion.
And also : fun, crazy horses

Epopee was one that grew on me over a few months and now I love all the details on it. And I am sort of your twin, same colors, but muffler format. I really wanted the black and purple 70cm, but never did find it.

Picked out today’s SOTD before I knew the week’s theme was levity. My totally appropriate, super summery Grand Tralala dip dye. My SA likes to call it my popsicle scarf.

Such a cute design @MabelJo! My DD is a musician and she chose this one this past season. It does tie wonderfully too. Thank you for your sweet comment-- I can add a selfie benefit to outdoor mos shots-- I think like car selfies, the light improves the situation!

Very pretty blue-- I have a blue CSGM and it is a super fun design @SilkCouture-- and I like my SSQ cw very much and not lest because it is a souvenir from Portugal!

Good morning, Scarflandia. I am going to join the Animapolis crew today with a happy new cw that I have long wished for and finally found (but only collected this past weekend). I think these bright colors suit this wacky design so well and, of course who doesn't love sloths and penguins and a blue Godzilla?
