Following in the footsteps of @HermesEchidna, my SOTD is Acinonyx Juabtus-- a wonderful acquisition from a scarfie friend. I had been regretting not jumping on this when I had the chance that season and every time I saw @Redbirdhermes post hers I re-lived that regret! So delighted to finally be sisters...

And two recent "neutral" Dallet 90s from past weeks' themes...

Calm and very elegant, Lkb. Full disclosure, after seeing @Teaforparrots’ and yours, I must check out this design - I don’t know it at all.

Thank you @Karenska-- I was lucky to find it last year when researching bird themed scarves. Plus it reminds me of some "intruders" in my own backyard! And it has writing on it besides birds so I was helpless in its thrall... it is definitely having "a moment."

Pretty overwhelmed by the abundance of lovely greys, purples, b/w etc in here - making my wishlist expand considerably You all look great!
As I am having a Ocean related workshop today, what could be more appropriate than making a splash with Dallet? And it is also kinda neutral right?

I do love b&w, and then add a POP! of color. These are all wonderful looks but must say that Art d'Ecrire is making me . Oh my! And the Ombre CSGM - beautifully tied.

First off, thank you for the always sweet remarks @Karenska! Second, you got a new camera! Life changing! It completely altered my entire experience of scarf photos and mod shots. "Our" Clair de Lune looked magnificent! Are you so so happy? I am excited to see all the beauties above make their debut in new iPhone photos... I love your moody broody Tyger Tyger and of course, your Premier Mains is the scarf godmother to mine so I always love seeing it...

Yesterday I mentioned that I have been eliminating brown toned scarves from my collection. However, there are a few favorite designs that will be staying. One is my beloved brown Jardins d’Hiver, which apparently I have been wearing with neutrals all along.



I’m going with the brown-on-brown neutrals for today. Jardins d’Hiver is my scarf of the day.

Just after Christmas, I came across a design that was new to me: Les Licornes.

I hesitated to buy it because the cw was described as Khaki, not a colour that I have much experience with, but one that could fall under this week's theme of neutrals.

When the parcel arrived, I was stumped. I had no clue what to match this with: the khaki was a dull dark bronze, the secondary colours were a dark oyster, dusty pink, and dull gold. I wore it twice this week, but it didn't go well with white or metallic fabric.

I'm going to give it a try with a grape purple next.

My goal of a week full of tranquility literally came to a crashing halt when I managed to hit a pole this morning while trying to back up. Been driving for 33 years and this is my first accident. At least I have a beautiful neck warmer while I fill out the insurance claim, and no one is hurt, the engine seems fine, just some scary looking (hopefully) superficial plastic damage.

Thank you @Karenska and @LKBNOLA and others who have commented and complimented my pins and broches. They are another little passion of mine and honestly I do not know if I have more broches than scarfs, but I Think it might be the case. The one today is a silver Georg Jensen design called Splash - hence the paring with the Dallet dream of the mediterranian. I inherited it from my grandmother, a very stylish lady, who also left me my very first Hermes scarf. I Think she would be mighty happy to see the passions go together

Hermes makes a lot of scarves with All The Colors, sometimes that makes it hard to decide just what color to ‘sort’ it as.
That’s where my Mixed Neutral (patent and trademark pending ) drawer comes in handy.

It could also be called “Goes With Everything”
Because they do!

Now you may be saying “Cookie, your PenF is yellow - you’ve lost your mind!”
But - check it out! (SOTD)

This is star quality pairing of broches and scarves @Karenska . Love it. And @Redbirdhermes please do not get rid of the browns, they are honey-oak-and-amber-licious
