It must be Saturday. I am trying to catch up. This thread MOVES!! I will respond in a few blocks to avoid a gargantuan mega-quote.

It does look absolutely fabulous on you. Total wow.
Thanks you, maedi! I love this one unreservedly. It is one of my grab if the house is on fire scarves.
Resolution 4: La vie en rose.
H-scarves bring me great joy. And I'm not going to explain why on a forum like this. 2022 has been difficult in many ways, but the few minutes I've taken each day to choose a scarf have been a little comfort I couldn't have done without.
Yes, I admit, I have more pink scarves than I need. I think I'm not the only one here. And I don't intend to stop there with this colour and its variations. It's always very comforting and soft. Why deprive yourself?
I have to say that when I found this jumper, I fell in love with it immediately! See you later this year for the different options!

Coco - I love this L'Ivresse. You are twins with @Cookiefiend, if I am not mistaken. This is a beautiful design, and I am often tempted by this colorway and the green because I love my red one so well. However, I think this is much more successful on others than it would be on me, as it falls outside of my personal scarf rules in other colorways. So I will (try to) be content to admire it on you!
Today was my orange H-Day! With the intention of wearing the bolder colors from my collection and wearing at least one scarf per day! In the morning I wore my CSGM Balade en Berline which I already showed in December
Later I changed to my first Hermès scarf. The one that started it all
Nuba Mountain with the lion peeking out from the front.
And wearing my orange Clic  View attachment 5683172View attachment 5683173
Katharine Luise, this is drop dead gorgeous, and you have modelled it perfectly! 10 out of 10!!!!
My last purchase of 2022 was this Sous L’Egide de Mars wash scarf. I love the feel of the vintage 70s so I had to have one wash scarf before they’re gone (hopefully not forever!).

Not a great pairing with my top today but I was running late. I’d like to pair it next with jewel toned tops to bring out more of those colours in the scarf.

Dear glow, this is a beauty. I too love the wash scarves and am sad they are an endangered species. Great choice!
Good morning all. I have another New Year's Resolution which I tried and mostly failed to keep last year. One of my rationales for buying multiples of a loved design is that I look at the scarves as "seasonal" but honestly, that attempt to pigeonhole my scarves is quite limiting. While it may comfort my wallet (and my conscience) to think that each addition is serving a unique purpose, the silks themselves object! So here is my third (:girlshocked: ) cw of Ex Libris en Kimonos which I persuaded myself was a "summer" option. Mostly I wear it casually, like this:
View attachment 5683195
But like @Coco2606, I received a new pink sweater over the holidays and suddenly, I thought I might "winterize" my ELeK. So here is my SOTD in keeping with my new resolve to just wear the scarves and not be so rigid about their "place" in my Scarfdrobe.
View attachment 5683196
Lkb, this is the cw of elek that I would like if I ever find it. But first I should find a pot of gold. The reseller market is not cheap!!!
I have managed to wear non black 2 times and all black 2 times so far in my "wear less black in winter" resolution... 50/50 is a win win!

With Cheval Vague CS GT today:

View attachment 5683496
Bunny, this scarf is perfect on you. And non-black is a definite challenge!
I thought I was gonna be out for a brief errand but ended up being out for almost 5 hours between one thing and the other!
Pani la Shar Pawnee was my companion
View attachment 5683509
Holy heck, fifi! I don't know if I haven't seen this colorway before or if I just didn't appreciate its beauty. You have perfected the art of wearing this one. :faint:
Who says pareos are just for summer?! There is so much fabric this Flamingo Party that found me through the magic of @Living.la.vida.fifi kept me warm
View attachment 5683573
Gorgeous, snausages! Flamingo Party is a lovely design in pareo format. Bravo!

Another New Year's Resolution: give each of my 12 or so "duplicates" equal time! I will usually purchase at least one design each season in two cws, usually contrasting light and dark to match my seasonal clothing options, when I feel they will be what I fondly call "outfit makers." Now I have about a dozen of these duplicates and I have given myself a strict resolution to justify my purchases! Here is my second cw of a much loved design: Laboratoire du Temps, in a green/gray/white cw that totally won my heart and is a good contrast to my brighter one (thumbnail mod shot below).

Still catching up. What beauties this week!

This year I’m trying to identify holes in my 90s and (as someone said before me) shop my collection. The holes I can identify are warm greens (mostly dark), peachy pink, and the lack of anything with a strong border. As for shopping my collection, I was tempted by the cat scarf last season in the gorgeous beige dore until I remembered I had a similar style scarf with the gorgeous color fades with my feux du ciel!

View attachment 5683560
Feux de Ciel is a design I always admire. I love how painterly it is. Gorgeous in this icy colorway, laurenad.
Thank you for the kind comments, Maedi. After I posted my light blue scarf photos, I noticed that half the time I paired them with gray tops. Those scarves look more washed out. So I decided to post Bottes with a light and a dark top. I think the scarf is more striking with the dark navy blue top. Note that I wore Mineraux with a dark red top (I was thinking of the colors in watermelon tourmaline) and that scarf does pop more than the Peuple du Vent on gray below it. Something I have learned and will need to remember when selecting my outfit for the day.

As for Faubourg Tropical, I had recently acquired the Milan Limited Edition, which had colors very similar to this colorway, except that the border is pink. It was a close call, because I do love that blue colorway, but the LE won. (Please excuse the browning of the pink in the lower right of the LE photo. The light was uneven and it really affected those colors. The pink flowers there were exactly the same in both colorways.)

Rbh, I always appreciate your thoughtful analysis. FT is a lovely design!
Resolution 5: let it go!

I think I've found the perfect anthem for the cruel dilemmas of the sorting collector. If my scarves could talk, I'm sure they'd be singing the Clash lyrics... (And I'd rather have that tune in my head than the Snow Queen... sorry if I polluted your eardrums...)

Until recently, the idea of rehousing a scarf was unthinkable for me. Nevertheless, the recent inventory is positive in that it makes me take a step back. So does @momasaurus ' courageous approach.
Anyway, I first considered the "butterflies in the stomach" effect that absolutely defines the favourites. Instead of wondering who should go, I prefer to select those I want to cherish (I have a lot of love to give). Finally, here is the pile of "slightly less loved than the others". I'd love your opinion.

I have to say that once the boxes were opened, it was like the first day again!
So should they stay or should they go?
SOTD, which almost went in the pile of all dangers and then I remembered that it looks great on black and goes well with this mohair jumper.

Good day to all!

View attachment 5683725

Okay, I will hear the clash in my head all day long now. I am tempted to,pull out all my scarves and play it on repeat. Love that surteint - glad it will stay!
Thank you @Coco2606, @Thelittlefoxes, @Living.la.vida.fifi, @Cookiefiend, @bunnycat and @Snausages for your comments and everyone for the likes-- it is hard not to love an ELeK! Looking forward to trying new pairing suggestions...

Oh, my goodness, terrible news @Karenska. I hope you will be able to update us later and sending best wishes for a speedy recovery and nothing broken! :hugs:

:roflmfao: @FizzyWater that is so funny but good news on the scarf front and excellent to hear your mom did so well. May she continue her recovery apace!

Wow! Look at this fabulosity @bunnycat-- love the center design peeking out among the swirls...

That is a specacular Pani le Shar @Living.la.vida.fifi and a beautiful pairing with your cobalt top!

A very very beautiful Feux du Ciel @laurenad! I just added this design last summer but mine is a fireworks cw! I also succumbed to Le Chat Carre in a very different cw. The comparison of the brushstrokes was made over on the seasonal thread and I think there's a more psychedelic, even a dreamy quality to the Sefedin while taking nothing away from Manlik. Definite similarities! Especially if you were choosing a close cw as you were considering. Of course as @Nomad points out, you do have cat anatomy to contend with as well...
View attachment 5683865View attachment 5683864

And with a fabulous necklace, too, your neck is doubly dressed @Snausages...

Very much in agreement with @Maedi here. I continue to learn a lot from your thoughtful color analyses @Redbirdhermes...

If you fall in love all over again when you open the box, that right there is an argument against rehoming! A second argument would be this lovely mod shot @Coco2606 -- to be sure this is different from your trademark brights but it is lovely on you and has a place with your winter sweaters. But I bet it would look wonderful on white or lighter blue or green for summer as well. I say keep them all but it is good to look more critically as your collection grows... And yes, now I have an "earworm" for the day thanks to Clash!
Lkb, this is an inspired comparison. It's interesting to see these two together.
My SOTD is my new cw11 of Jaguar Quetzal. This started off being a CCP but has ended up being a duplicate. It started as a CCP on my very first JQ: the beautiful blue/brown/black. This was an early and beloved Alice Shirley in my collection but she and I have parted company on good terms. We had many joyful outings together, a beautiful complement to my then younger, brunette self. (Old mod shot pre-grey hair and lipstick adventures below.) I decided to find another, brighter JQ and last year I found cw02, a red/blue/green one-- quite dramatic for me. Even so I was in scarf lust with cw11 and kept an eye out-- y'all know how that is! In December I found cw11 but I simply cannot part with cw02! My beloved blue has found a new home with my beautiful 30 year old niece, who is just beginning her own designer adventures. So this may be less a tale of CCP than just the evolution of my love for a wonderful design... (and twins with @Nomad and @Awillow and @bunnycat, I believe!)

So glad to be twins with you. That cw02 is a lovely one too! :girlsigh:
Dear Scarfies, my xray results came back negative on fractures and I am so very grateful. But I’m still in alot of pain (snarky  here). Resting up and taking good care. Healing will be slow. I want to thank everyone for their heartfelt concern, good wishes and support. You all are so lovely, beautiful friends. I hope to be participating in a couple of days. Regarding this week’s theme, I don’t know how I can keep any resolutions that involve toning down the purchases . Right now I’m in love with several from the new season, contemplating a CSGT from last year, made my first purchase for 2023, A Real Deal :graucho: , and of course, there are the grails to look for . I’ve said it before but will say it again. Temptation, thy name is Hermès :girlshocked:.
Dearest k, so glad it wasn't more serious. Feel better soon!
Sotd.
Resolution is to wear more of my most loved scarves. So much of the time I am wearing a scarf to see if I love it enough to keep it. I also want to add that I bought the costumes in pink and told myself I am keeping it “even tho” it has a lot of bright neon colors. Well what do you know…so does this kimonos.
Another resolution is to wear my scarves more since I just can’t in the warmer months. I might get 5 wears in for 3-4 months of heat. So in keeping with that resolution, today it “feels like” 35 degrees and I am cold. So I popped on my new oh so love Fleece, Sweatpants, my coziest and warm purple Ugh boots and my silk haha. I am a sight, but I am happy haha.

Nomad, one word. Plaid! (Okay, maybe two) Brilliant!
SOTD - En Liberté
Had a doctor’s appointment, so I actually got dressed.View attachment 5684085
Nhare, En Liberte is especially beautiful tied this way.
Back again to draping a shawl around me instead of properly knotting a 90 silk. But it‘s gotten cold again and this shawl is part of my new year resolution to get this grail of mine in a third cw.
View attachment 5684102
Littlefoxes, this is on my radar, thanks to you. I don't think I can typically pull off paisley, but this may be an exception because of the gorgeous colorways. :faint:
To reflect the CCP theme I am posting Robe Legere again. Sorry for repeating: it’s my only multiple! It’s also an example of the design’s Colour Correction-turned- Passion.
Multicoloured image on white background with yellow border gavroche was purchased first in the absence of the desired red cw; it was intended for CCP, but joined the family and stayed permanently because of its happy-go-lucky character: it easily matches almost every colour! With the cold& dark season settling the red cw came along and warmed my heart (and neck). And then the pink 90 carre took my breath away and added soft glitter to the Christmas tendresse.
The earlier posted images were of more formal wear.
This time, it’s new year’s casual wear at home:View attachment 5684166View attachment 5684167

And here is the “rose” Robe turning the hooded house-gown into an elegant robe and providing therapy on an after-vaccination day:View attachment 5684181
Stylehound, I have not been in a boutique lately, but you are making me think I should get there. I worried about all the blank space in this design, but it is gorgeous!
Yukky weather again and I’m not feeling well but I had to take a minute to show how beautifully the shapes of my new necklace and earring set complement the patterns in my scarf! Both artists were inspired by some natural organic shapes.

View attachment 5684257
Tfp, your necklace and earrings are superb with your scarf. Hope you feel better!
I think of you @bunnycat (fondly!) every time I reach for a cotton

That’s a beautiful combo @Coco2606 and the dip dye should stay! And yes, culling is both fun and painful

@LKBNOLA you have such amazing scarves! That FdC is a gorgeous red and I adore how the stars and swooshes add dimension. Fabulous addition of the JQ

This makes such a wonderful outfit! You can always find another colorway and decide between the two.

So glad to hear @Karenska that no bones are broken and I agree with TLF that H therapy will surely speed your healing

Superb pattern mixing @Nomad and never say never when it comes to H

Great colorway @Nhare and knotted so nicely

It’s a stunner @Thelittlefoxes and what a fun resolution!

These are all gorgeous @Stylehound and no CCP needed - this was definitely a CEP!

I’ve never seen this colorway @Awillow - it’s gorgeous! I love a good black and white

Jan Bajtlik can do no wrong and the jewelry is a great addition @Teaforparrots
Thanks, snausages!
That is stunning with the light blue sweater - and ohmigosh - the light!!
(though 15" snow... no thank you!)

That is the perfect song!

The Surteint stays!
There will be no trouble (not even if you double!)
You must listen to what the Scarf Mistresses say
It should not be on the bubble!

(and you're beautiful)

Well - I love the brown.
There - I said it.
I have brown hair, brown eyes, and I like brown a lot... true confession time here!
And - it's gorgeous on the plum colored top!

oooooo
I especially like the 3rd photo with the dark jacket!

Perfect!
What a marvelous resolution too!

(I had a funny conversation in the car with my granddaughter:
"I'd rather be cold than hot Mimi."
"Oh, really? Why's that honey?"
"Because I can always put on more things, like socks and slippers, blankets and fleece... but I can't take off everything in the summer"
"Ohhh... good point... I'd get arrested.")

And what a beautiful grail!

Welp - I love them all.
I guess I need to be on the Robe Legere Addiction team too!

:faint: So beautiful! :faint:
(what a marvelous neutral too!)

Oh - I'm sorry you're not feeling well!
Your new necklace and earrings are stunning and fab pairing with the scarf!

Wow! This color is astonishing - so happy!
And look at you, leading the way with 4 scarves in just 5 days!

(I'm doing it wrong!!!)
Cookie, kids are the best, aren't they?! And thank you!
What an extraordinary silk this is! Amazing tied and this CW is sublime

Much as I love it, it belongs with you… You have been able to tame this swath beautifully, and those colors look amazing on you

It so beautiful! I feel it’s the perfect springtime scarf

I say keep! Just love it paired with purple… I love everything in that grouping

Both are so amazing on you! The FdC is showstopping and that painterly border of LCC is truly a wonder

Oh, I love this CW! Wears so well with purple

Probably my favorite Hermès “cat” scarf… I loved it in every single CW… Your new lilac CW is a beauty

Twins! Such a special one

My fav design from the FW22 season… love this CW

This shawl is extraordinary!

So beautiful!

OK… Now I have a new obsession… I had never seen this one before… It is magnificent!

These colors are made for you

Wonderful pattern mixing and this green is amazing
Thanks, fifi. I hadn't seen it before either, but knew I must have it upon sight to fill my black/grey/white moussie hole.
My two SOTDs…
First of all, Fantaisie d’Etriers for my facial this morning. Of course, it came off and then re-tied after I finished

Any news from @Karenska ? I hope she is OK...

Whaou ! You rock !!

Thanks ! Same weather here... Colorfull scarves and cashmere are my antidote !
Dear Coco, dear EVERYONE, thank you again for your loving concern and friendship. I am convalescing and taking good care and IMPROVING, if ever so slowly . Also, back on the thread right now, if only to read your wonderful posts and try and catch up. Hugs to all ❤️.

And more! You guys are on fire!

You are most welcome @bunnycat! I am in total agreement with @laurenad that I would not have gotten LCC in a similar cw to my FdC BUT i do love the "Story Behind" of the little cat who mischievously got into his owner's scarf box and became as flat as the carre inside!

Yes, for me the CCP started because I ooohed and aaahed and fell in love with beautiful mod shots but more practically, it has been put to work as my hair has gone from brunette to grey (like many during the pandemic!) and my lifestyle has gone from active executive to retired freelancer. I love the classic designs so much but have much more room now for brighter, more whimsical scarves too... It is a curating process as I learn/see/discover ever more artists and a styling challenge/opportunity. And thank you for endorsing the hair color-- I have been grey since my late thirties and only recently embraced it!

"Temptation, thy name is Hermès." True Dat, as we say in NOLA! I am so relieved to hear that nothing is broken @Karenska and hope you feel relief soon. New scarves will definitely distract you as you recover!

I love everything about this post and mod-shot! You inspire me to go out and find a happy, bright, scarf-friendly flannel shirt @Nomad!

Thank you so much @Lellabelle!

This looks absolutely fabulous with denim-- great styling @Nhare.

If ever I need a color/style analysis I am going to come knocking on your door @Lellabelle! How generous and thoughtful

This is stunning @Thelittlefoxes -- as others have said, I'd be happy with just this amazing beauty but best of luck on your search!

All gorgeous @Stylehound and your mod shots are always so beautiful. A "signature" for you indeed as @Maedi noted.

 this is the perfect perfect justification and should immediately enter the TPF lexicon of phrases: "the family will benefit..."

Stunning @Awillow! I don't know where your Secret Fountain of Moussies is located, but it is a treasure trove! This is lovely-- a portrait in neutrals!

Oh, I am sorry you are under the weather (and a pile of blankets) but you sure look great in your scarf jewelry pairing. Feel better @Teaforparrots ...

Wow, @Snausages that is a beautiful green and I am amazed that you were able to wrangle all that fabric into a compact knot! I can only ever drape the one pareo I have but maybe you and @bunnycat are "pareo-whisperers"...And thank you for the compliment on the scarves! I have learned a lot from everyone here-- including you-- as I have collected/curated :flowers:

Thank you @Cookiefiend-- I wonder do you prefer the styling or the cw02 to cw11? Thank you for your opinion!

Thank you so much @Living.la.vida.fifi -- there are many many vibrant cws of the Feux du Ciel but when I replaced my gav of this I kept saying "blue border, blue border" and I finally found it! And the JQ I am thrilled about so :ty:

Oh this is such a great post! I love the Fantaisie d'Etriers design (when will get them in US in more colors!!!!) and this one is so so fabulous! Your outfit is utter perfection for the show you are going to see and I am delighted to be transported back to the Adrienne Arsht Center where I spent a delightful evening at the ballet last October. Lovely post!

This is inspired on the dark green top @Maedi-- it totally enhances the beautiful dark green in the foliage and the gorgeous silvery grey border. Is your anneau rose gold? It caught the light so nicely!

This may be a great idea for a theme week @Maedi-- I have been feeling glum about the fact that I have no signature knot, signature design or signature color -- such an interesting idea what one gravitates to and the reasons for it. In @Stylehound's case Robe Legere was a beautiful coup de foudre it seems and she has embraced it.

You have had a time of it, too, with illness @Lellabelle. I hope you feel better and can rejoin your silkie friends soon...

I am pretty sure that your first mod shot is the reason I have been on a two year long hunt for the maroon cw @momasaurus! What a fabulous collection of this engaging design... Everyone can just bookmark your post to refer back in their searches!
Lol. This moussie addiction is serious business!
Another resolution: STOP buying gavs! @FizzyWater and @bunnycat related amusing anecdotes about the unsatisfactory feeling of leaving the boutique/airport shop/flagship empty-handed. Lipsticks would be more budget-friendly, but too often, I ask to look in the gavroche drawer when I can't find something I hoped for and walk out with (an admittedly lovely) consolation prize. :girlshocked: at how many have multiplied in my scarf drawer over the years! So I am carefully now editing. However, the editing/curating does not necessarily mean fewer scarves. My true confessions example is that I rehomed two different Baobab Cat gavs because they were format placeholders for what I really wanted, which was this:
View attachment 5684678
I can see why you landed on that baobab, lkb. You have tied it perfectly.
Resolution number 6: Work (a little) and learn (a lot).

This forum is incredible in its kindness and richness of exchange. I never imagined that it would be such a mine of good ideas, as much for clothing and jewellery combinations as for knotting. So here is a nice goal for 2023, to feed myself with your magnificent publications to really highlight the potential of scarves (and indirectly the coat rack).
Thank you again!

Beautiful, coco!
One good thing that has come from this week of resolutions is tracking. I have been resistant to it for almost 10 years now... (Mr Bcat will confirm I am really that stubborn) But after several of you mentioned it this week I decided to give it a go. So I made a list and had so much fun, I went back through 2 years of SOTD pics to see how consistent I am, instead of just 2022 as I had intended. I was surprised to find my wearing of 90cm scarves so consistent in both 2021 and 2022, and also my wearing of large formats and cashmere. So I set up another round to track 2023.

Yesterday, I managed a legit 2 scarf day. I wore Sweet Dreams 100cm when I went out walking in the cool morning. But I had to make beads and complete a special order yesterday, so I had to change to work clothes for awhile. Then later, I didn't feel like unboxing the wool again, so I opted for a throw and go Brazil giant DD to keep me snuggly in the afternoon and evening.

Also, I did not wear black yesterday. Win!!!

View attachment 5684752
Bunny, both sweet dreams and brazil are fab! My SA talked me out of this SD cw. And she probably did me a favor. But holy heck, it is gorgeous.
Well, I am out of bed and celebrating with an inaugural wearing of a Point d’orgue CSGM that found its way to me last summer, and has not yet had an outing. It‘s just the cosy pop of lively contrasts I needed. Excuse the wrinkles: this navy shirt is looser than I remember and I‘m still in pj’s and slippers out of the frame! This really needs a red lip I think, and I have a blazer in a similar shade of red that I think would work too. Another day… ;)

View attachment 5684846
Lella, this is great on you! I went through a red blue white phase (still a beloved part of my collection) and would have snapped this up!
Thank you @Thelittlefoxes, @Snausages, @Living.la.vida.fifi, and @LKBNOLA for your kind compliments and for everyone’s likes/loves to my first scarf selfie post. I really appreciate it and feel encouraged, so here’s today’s SOTD. I was inspired by, okay, I shamelessly copied, dear @HermesHope blue-grey combo. View attachment 5684871View attachment 5684872
Nhare, I adore this on you! (We are twins!) Great with grey as well! (Note to self.)
I’m still waiting to locate this Fantaisie d’Etriers. What a beautiful vibrant colorway!

Beautiful colorway choices. I continue to let the pink colorway sit in my cart. I purchased and returned two others in an effort to find the effect one for me. LOVE those gavs!

Love it Awillow.

Chocolate and Navy EU! Gorgeous!
Thanks, magjes!

Julide, when I saw this I went searching to find mod shots, and it was your that sold me. Thank you!

Each of these cws are just beautiful but I am loving that silvery lilac/soft bleu, LKB. Although from a practical standpoint, I think the blue red green is more versatile for my wardrobe. And styled beautifully, as always.

Resolution number 7: Maximum gratitude
I would like to express my gratitude more spontaneously and more often this year.
I am very lucky to have such beautiful scarves, to be able to benefit from the forum and from your wise advice.
Happy New Year to all of you!
SOTD, The spirit of the forest. I have been resisting buying it in other colours but it's difficult because I love this pattern. This one really goes with everything, even this yellow jumper. The scarf stays, the jumper not so sure (but that's another story!)
Anyway, thank you, thank you!

Bonus: the "beans" /"fèves " for the "galettes des rois" that I will prepare for the family meal. Who will be the king and queen of the day? (In France, we celebrate the Epiphany by sharing a pastry cake filled with almond cream. A "fève" is hidden inside the cake and the one who finds it is king)

I baked one of those one year and it was one of the most delicious things ever!

It must be Saturday. I am trying to catch up. This thread MOVES!! I will respond in a few blocks to avoid a gargantuan mega-quote.

Thanks you, maedi! I love this one unreservedly. It is one of my grab if the house is on fire scarves.

Katharine Luise, this is drop dead gorgeous, and you have modelled it perfectly! 10 out of 10!!!!

Dear glow, this is a beauty. I too love the wash scarves and am sad they are an endangered species. Great choice!

Lkb, this is the cw of elek that I would like if I ever find it. But first I should find a pot of gold. The reseller market is not cheap!!!

Bunny, this scarf is perfect on you. And non-black is a definite challenge!

Holy heck, fifi! I don't know if I haven't seen this colorway before or if I just didn't appreciate its beauty. You have perfected the art of wearing this one. :faint:

Gorgeous, snausages! Flamingo Party is a lovely design in pareo format. Bravo!
I automagically read that as "It must be Caturday..." Thank you kindly! It really is a challenge, at least for me, in winter.

Now this is an achievable, and fabulous resolution LKB. As I was going through my many SOTD pics from the last 2 years, I noticed one of my FP gets worn much more than the other, and so I need to rectify that!

And more! You guys are on fire!

Lol. This moussie addiction is serious business!

I can see why you landed on that baobab, lkb. You have tied it perfectly.

Beautiful, coco!

Bunny, both sweet dreams and brazil are fab! My SA talked me out of this SD cw. And she probably did me a favor. But holy heck, it is gorgeous.

Lella, this is great on you! I went through a red blue white phase (still a beloved part of my collection) and would have snapped this up!

Nhare, I adore this on you! (We are twins!) Great with grey as well! (Note to self.)

Thanks, magjes!

Julide, when I saw this I went searching to find mod shots, and it was your that sold me. Thank you!

Lkb, I love your green/grey/white laboratoire! That is a fabulous colorway. :girlsigh:
Thank you kindly! these brights really were the perfect match for me. I am so glad I finally found it.

The Mysterious Rider accompanied me today:

Fantastic on you! And congrats to whomever is king...though if you are doing the cooking...it should automatically be YOU!

This week has been a great start to 2023 with hearing everyone's New Year's resolutions, and seeing lots of scarves. It has been a good time to review my own collection and think about where it's at and where I'd like to go this year. Thank you, @bunnycat , for getting us off to a great start for the year.

I pulled out my red Jungle Love Tatouage (Tattoo) to wear today, thinking that it was an example of where I was following a popular trend. Certain scarves are popular for a reason, and adding them to a collection should be considered. However, I feel that I need to resolve to be more careful about following trends. For example, I hadn't been on this scarf forum for very long before I found that people really, really like jacquard fabric scarves. They are certainly nice, but I don't really get all that excited by them, and this past year I sold three of my jacquard scarves. One reason that I purchased this Jungle Love Tatouage was because it had a bee jacquard.

Last night I was looking at bunny's IG post about her new Jungle Love stamped 70, and admiring it very much, and thinking that perhaps this beauty would have a place in my collection.

Then, it occurred to me that a resolution posted earlier this week might make more sense for me today. Shop your collection. (Thank you, @Coco2606 .) My JL Tattoo lacks Gianpaolo Pagni's clever embellishments, but it is still based on a red tattoo version of Dallet's gorgeous design. So, I’ll attempt to make it work.

My scarf of the day is Jungle Love Tatouage.

What a great post and an excellent example of connections! (Wait til you see my treatise on the Dallet and Rendezvous Gallant scarf connection!)

For me the JL Tattoo was a unique modern take on JL, and the jacquard was a bonus. Those blank borders generally limit me though with scarves. So the new JL 70 fills in the space enough to make more wearing possibilities available to me than the 90 would have. (And well, it's JL so I can't help myself...) I definitely wouldn't do both the tattoo and the stamped 70, but one or the other definitely should have a place.

Thank you, and yes, the blank borders of the Tattoo are a huge difference. I tied the scarf to hide them, then picked up the other stamped colors in my clothing and jewelry. Picking blue-gray and golden beige would not normally be my choice for this scarf, so that was a risk. I don't own a leopard print shirt, but that would have been perfect.
