Wowza. Wowza. Such grails!!
Congratulations! Huge.
And love hearing about your whispering banned together family who managed to surprise you
Thank you both @Nomad and @Lellabelle. I am feeling very fortunate with my "specials" and my grails for sure. Its a unique joy when collecting goals click into place after long anticipation...Wow, these are grails indeed. The grailiest. I LOVE all of these! I was so excited for you when you shared these with us: your hauntingly beautiful Shackleton, your magical night garden and the stunning Femme. Your joy and appreciation for them is palpable and they couldn’t have found a better home.
MANY congratulations on this milestone year, superb silks to honour it, and yes, special Oscarfs are in order for DH and DD!
Ok, I have to echo the astonishment of every scarfie here that you have accomplished all this since May @SilkCouture! Just amazing-- truly spectacular, in fact. I nominate you for the Oscarf for Warp Speed Grail Gathering, Best Supporting Styling and a Special Effects Lighting Award for Radiant Smile. Delighted to be twins on the PdS (12) and Jaguar Quetzal.Dear Scarfies, This year has been like a roller coaster in a teenager’s first love drama series. It kicked off with a first purchase in May, reminding me of that awkward but unforgettable first kiss. Since then, my scarf collection has grown frenetically. I hope my love for scarves matures soon for the sake of my wallet 😆. Initially, I was quite apprehensive about venturing into the second-hand market. But now, like many of you, I find myself eagerly checking my saved searches daily, always on the lookout for that next unique find. Of all the special items I’ve brought home this year from the resale market, there are a few that stand out, capturing my heart more than the rest. These scarves, which I’m happy to share with you, are my personal Oscarf nominees for Best Sound. Each one, upon its debut around my neck, unleashed a series of magical ‘WOWs’ out of pure admiration and excitement 🥰
I'm missing some other special ones, but since I'm traveling, I'm sharing these from the archives.

How fantastic that you found that Metamorphoses @Snausages! I love all of these-- if you hear stealthy noises in the night, it will just be me swooning over your Pytheas and possibly trying to abscond with it -- that is my favorite of all the borders! The Oscarf for Best Adapted Silk (aka Inspired by tPF)
Metamorphoses - saw one gracing the neck of an SA and loved the weirdness of it all but not the all gray look, then saw @Maedi modeling this colorway. Was delighted when this popped up on a resale site

Voyage de Pytheas - have always admired the borders but I think it was @Karenska who highlighted details of the narwhal and orcas and bears that pushed me to hit the buy button

Gorgeous in this cw @Redbirdhermes-- this was a difficult scarf to track down and totally worth the effort! Your pearls are perfection with it. I am your blue sister. Some scarf designs are harder to find than others. Here are a few hard-to-find scarves that entered my collection this year.

This is a tough one, but I'm giving the Oscarf for Hard-to-Find Scarves to Photosynthese. These beauties were apparently a pandemic victim and never made it to any H website for sale. I especially like the delicate peony flower petal renderings by Theo de Gueltzl on the yellow colorway.
