Dear Karenska, this is the shawl I thought about when I was admiring your newest Au Royaume d'Helios, since to me they are in different cws, but from the same colour families (the artificial lighting presents the colours of the shawl falsely, though, but I think you will recognize the shawl itself, plus Maitai has wonderful pictures of it on Her blog)

Somewhat tired tonight, so a quick check in. Temperatures are more spring-like than wintery these days. But nevertheless, Jeux d’Omnibus for walking the shirt way from home to the concert hall to enjoy the Christmas Day concert. 🎶

Those punks are smashing on the black outfit @Agrume - I have been accused before of wearing too much black so I’ve avoided it for decades and truly must re-think this neurosis as it’s so fabulous for showing off our H goodies

Well I ended up not wearing my new muffler when we went out for our Christmas dinner at a local restaurant - it was so warm here in the UK! Instead I opted for Epaulettes de Gala twilly with Mini Mors ring.

Pickles already stole one of my other presents. It is a matching pear shaped wicker storage basket to my pineapple one I got earlier in the year. The top for it has a little pear leaf and stem.

@Awillow yes it was @bunnycat whom I credit for my pareo obsession! Highly recommend this slippery slope: the smaller formats are breathable enough for hot weather, the larger ones are warm enough for chilly weather, and so easy to care for. And they come in so many sizes - not all are ginormous; there are a few 70s out there as well as a few stoles. And of course there are those delectable men’s silk/cotton blends… Darn Thank you @bunnycat

I was treated to a unicorn today, but my other silken gift was a surprise, so I am sharing it with you tonight. Grand Tralala in Potiron. A colour I never thought I would be able to get away with, but it’s a great match for a purse I have and somehow it works in this classic design. DH loves it and made the bold choice to get it

It’s dark here already, so not the best lighting, but here you go. Off theme, as my warm and cosy is coming from my lambswool Barbour cardigan. A favourite at this time of year.

And my SOTD is not cashmere, but I am going to stretch the theme because it looks so realistically like a cozy, warm, knitted sweater or muffler around my neck. Hat tip to @Redbirdhermes for the inspiration and to our new sister @Cookiefiend. Besides the very very cool trompe l'oeil tag, this delightful scarf has different colored contrast hems on each side.

My SOYE, a Pirouette au Galop losange worn as a collar and for today, the delightful small 65 cm Parade en Fanfare. I heard today is the second busiest day at the Post Office (all those returns!) so I chose my scarf ring accordingly ( ). Looking forward to scrolling up and checking all the posts!
