Thank you @Living.la.vida.fifi and everyone for sharing your beauties this week! Here is my small contribution for the week, marble silk twilly with twilly ring, paired with a gold chain with my grandmother's diamond pendant. To go with that, a ring with a faceted blue-green Tahiti pearl and diamond by Danish Designer Lunnemann Jewellery and my favorite bracelet by Danish designer Per Borup, with a red agate set with diamonds. I wear this bracelet almost every day, as I can change out the stone for another color or a faceted Tahiti pearl, so it goes with everything.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!🎄

Marry Christmas for all who celebrate, dear Scarfies! I wish you all the most wonderful time with your loved ones !

Here, the celebrations began yesterday in the evening. The Christmas Eve Supper is one of the two most important family meal in the whole year, followed by exchanging gifts and midnight mass:

Welcome to a new week, the last full week of the almost completed year: “Keep Off the Chill. Cashmeres and other large formats”
First, many thanks to Fifi and her phantastic hosting! :yahoo:
And to all of you making this blog such a kind, heartwarming place to come to. :hugs:

For this week, show your cashmere shawls, large or small, and other large formats you own. And your Christmas presents, if in scarf form. How you wear them - at home, out in the cold ⛄ ❄️, above your coat or under? Do you have a favourite, or do you keep them in rotation?

When I started buying H scarves, I was reluctant to spend that much money on a CSGM. Too afraid of losing them, damaging them, not wearing them enough. Now I have more than enough of them and love them. I try to keep their number small (though I fell for one last week, more about this later this week).

SOTD is a Christmas themed scarf, Madison Party. And last week I wore one of my most used CGSMs, Peuple du vent.
Looking forward to see yours, and happy and peaceful (Christmas) days! 🎄

Dear Agrume
Thank you very much for inviting us into this cosy week!
On theme: Cavalleria d'Etriers CSGM in bleu, violet and parme
20231219_233631.jpg
I will indeed, Marta. Thank you so kindly for your compliments. It is a very special cw, as you, @LKBNOLA and others have noted. Do you have a photo of the Della Cav CSGM? I don’t have that one.
Dear Karenska, this is the shawl I thought about when I was admiring your newest Au Royaume d'Helios, since to me they are in different cws, but from the same colour families (the artificial lighting presents the colours of the shawl falsely, though, but I think you will recognize the shawl itself, plus Maitai has wonderful pictures of it on Her blog)

Megaquote - hope I did not forget someone in between travelling, going to the Christmas Day concert, cooking Christmas dinner and family in general!

Thank you for this warm and inviting introduction @Agrume--love both your examples! What a nice counterpoint to end the year with this theme after the beautiful week we have just had! I am going to share my SOYE-- a lovely triangle. This was the second GT I bought and remains a favorite-- the swirls on the design remind me a bit of jewelry so perhaps it can even be a crossover scarf...
View attachment 5917090
And my SOTD is not cashmere, but I am going to stretch the theme because it looks so realistically like a cozy, warm, knitted sweater or muffler around my neck. Hat tip to @Redbirdhermes for the inspiration and to our new sister @Cookiefiend. Besides the very very cool trompe l'oeil tag, this delightful scarf has different colored contrast hems on each side.
View attachment 5917091
Echoing @redheaddem's appreciation for this amazing community and wishing everyone who celebrates today a wonderful Christmas Eve-- and may the Scarf Santa be good to you all!
Thank you, LKBNOLA, and a lovely choice for this week! Very cosy indeed!

Another big thank you to @Living.la.vida.fifi and all the Scarf Mistresses for an amazing year of eye candy! Just when I think Ye Olde Scarf Drawer can hold no more someone posts a new-in or style that makes me re-evaluate.

Wonderful intro @Agrume for our final week! Twins on MP - gorgeous color combo

@LKBNOLA your posts are always a showcase of stunning styling!
Thank you, Snausages!

Welcome @Agrume, to Keeping Warm Week. Our current temperature this Christmas Eve morning is already 50F, which is very warm for here in the North. I'm heading to the airport to pick up DD for Christmas with my marble Ex-Libris 90 in cashmere and silk. Between family and friends this might be all the warmth I need today.

Wonderful, especially your Alice Shirley collection!

Wonderful introduction, Agrume, and such gorgeous offerings. And uour vost is a beautiful color snd texture. Looking forward to participating this week and happy holidays to you and yours.

SOYD to share the Christmas celebration with my sister and brother and my mom’s side of the family. It was lovely, my sister’s home was decorated so beautifully and it was a nice size - about 15 people. My scarf is not H but my darling holiday scarf that makes an appearance at least once during the season. Paired with my new pearl pendant and gold ball earrings which paired very nice indeed!
View attachment 5917146
Tonight I share the holiday with my dad’s side - uncles, aunts, cousins. It will be crazy with about 30 people plus three cousin-littles 7,6 and 5, whose excitement I will enjoy sharing.

The happiest of holidays to all of you observing and wishing every one here peace, love and comfort as we enjoy the last week of 2023. ❤️
Thank you, Karenska, and I am sure you will enjoy these days! Beautiful scarf for the occasion!

Chanelandco, lovely pairing and your hair is gorgeous, too! And your cw of JL Stamped 70 is stunning. I was so tempted by that color but became seduced by this one. Plique a jour and SS dragonfly pin by Nicole Barr.
View attachment 5917148
And a great pairing!

Thank you for taking us into the last week of the year, @Agrume, I am looking forward to this week. I am curious to see your new acquisition, and am sisters with you on the PdV. Mt SOTD is another Christine Henry CSGM. I think her designs work really well in this format.

Wishing everyone who celebrates very, very joyful and cheerful Holidays, and warm thoughts to all!

Thank you, BlueLilac, and love your CSGM! All those flowers…

Happy last week of the year and thank you to all of you scarfies who make this a warm and welcoming place to share our love for these treasured pieces. I've learned so much and been inspired in some way by each of you. A special shout out to @Living.la.vida.fifi for hosting last week's mind and eye blowing tour through the many ways jewelry can greatly enhance our beauties. Your eye for jewelry is enviable!

I love that we are ending the year with a focus on cashmeres and other large formats. Today I'm sharing the one that sent me irretrievably on the H slippery slope. What started off as this one spectacular CSGM, for which at the time I hesitated about spending so much on a 'piece of fabric,' has now become a collection I'm struggling to keep organized and give time to each because as it turns out, the CSGM format is the easiest to wear. I wear one almost every day of the year from about September through mid-May and always have an additional one over the back of the couch or tucked into my bag just in case the air conditioning is a little too fierce inside during warm months.

My 'couch' shawl has never actually been worn outside the house and is probably my most sensible ever of H purchases for cost per wear. I've got to be down into the pennies per wear by now! Someone please remind me to share it because I will probably forget! I haven't even got a proper mod shot yet and I think that is definitely deserved.

I fear I'm overstaying my welcome, so here at last is L'Arbre du Vent!
My favorite shawl, and my first. What do they say about first loves?

View attachment 5917200
We are so looking forward to see your Couch Shawl, EtsyBoss! And your Arbre du Vent is spectacular, no wonder you are still in love - you should be!

Love everything about @EtsyBoss post and concur on L’Arbre du Vent! I am twins on this fabulous piece of “fabric” (well - I think of it as a work of art!) and it is also one of my favourite shawls. I am a huge fan of cashmere 140s - it is not a slope for me at this point, I am stuck in the orange swamp:)
Here are a couple of mod shots emphasising blues and greens of this fabulous piece!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Wonderful, and thank you for sharing!

Great look, Awillow!

Merry Christmas! No white Christmas for us this year. In fact, we are in danger of breaking our record high of 51F set in 1922. I have yet to put on my winter coats, and have been wearing my bomber jacket for my daily walk to the local coffee shop. Here it is with my red hoodie and Hermès Odyssey losange.

View attachment 5917537

Not going to need my hoodie layer for today's walk.

Hermes Odyssey Losange is my scarf of the day. This starry design seems appropriate for Christmas, as a star pointed the way towards where the Child was born.

Thanks for sharing another cashmere format, RBH, I love the stars on those, too! I gifted it to Mr Agrume and should also wear it sometimes (the blue CW).
