Love the action shot! That scarfs a beauty. And I love your stylish gloves!

29 Oct 2023- Trick or Treat. Candy coloured scarves. (Bonus points for matching candy!)
I don't know about y'all but I have been anticipating this week for awhile! (Sucks that I have a concussion and have to keep myself on the low..ah well...)
This week is all about candy colored scarves. And since candy comes in ALLLLLL colors there is no excuse at all not to wear a scarf that fits the theme. You literally can't go wrong!Major brownie points for matching Halloween candy and giving the candy example.
I'll start, then I have to take a break again.
I looked up top favorite Halloween candy the other day (before I bonked my head...) and found that naturally, some of my childhood favorite are on the "gross" list.
This Flamingo Party pareo always reminds me of Good n Plenty candy (which apparently I love but everyone else hates)

There there is the Halloween classic Candy Corn, which I don't think anybody loves....but it certainly has all the colors of autumn in it and when I fold this section of Marche du Zambezi, I am reminded of candy corn colors....

And I really love those crunchy peanut butter candy things. I have no idea of their name. And the idea of a peanut butter taffy makes me happy. And so does my favorite Halloween music from Squirrel Nut Zippers, who named themselves for some peanut flavored candy so here we are! Bring out the caramel tones like in this brightly colors Choris Stellarum (which could also have stood in with candy corn, but then I would have no reason to subject you to my favorite SNZ Halloween song).

Take it away Scarflandia! I'll check in for short burst again over the next day or so, and hopefully by then my poor noggin will be fully mended.
Thank you, Croisette! All so very pretty on you, Karenska!
Thank you so kindly!
This is so beautiful-- I love the shawl so much but the buttons on the gloves that echo the coat buttons is a fabulous touch @Croisette7!
Thank you @Karenska! They are very darling-- perhaps even discussing scarves? Two stunners, Lkb. Love those two fashionable ladies taking tea in GPdF.
You look very perfect for a Sargent exhibit @Teaforparrots!I figured I should wear some beautiful fabric to the Fashioned by Sargent exhibit!View attachment 5885176

Welcome back for another wonderful week of scarf hosting, @xincinsin. We had our first snow flakes yesterday, fortunately quickly melted, but at 26F this morning it is cold enough to pull out the winter scarves. And, my Hermès Odyssey losange not only has twinkling stars, it also is a good match for strawberry licorice in classic red.

ETA - Welcome, @bunnycat, and thank you for the marvelous examples you posted below. What an excuse to go candy shopping this week. Hope you are better soon.
We "Winter" complexions love our jewel tones@Teaforparrots these jewel-tone scarves you’ve chosen are simply perfect! You shine even brighter with them!
Lovely examples @SilkCouture! I have this very cw of Zoaves et Dragons and never knew it was turned into a Woof Woof aplication. Does @Snausages know about this? Hers is the only other Woof Woof that I have ever seen! Cool find...
Gorgeous as always. I am particularly fond of your Tours de Cles - I love how you play with your rings!
Got to say you are killing the scarf ring game. I have a few, but never really use them, so maybe this is the inspiration I need to kickstart the habit.
