A few years ago I set myself a challenge in January to wear every scarf in my collection at some point in the year. If, at the end of the year, a scarf had not been worn then it was to be rehomed to fund new purchases. I have sold some, shamefully two still had tags on, but it would be a fun theme!
I need to do that challenge!

Three watery blues today--
Starting with the stunning Rocaille-- shells on a blue field. This reminds me of the Sailors' Valentines on display at the Whaling Museum on Nantucket. My earrings are special too. They contain sand from the beach in front of my home!

In my youth I was a competitive swimmer and spent many many hours in the pool. Practice was hard work but the pool was also a happy place in which to get lost in thought while letting the body do its rhythmic pounding back and forth. So I was thrilled to find this Beverly Hills in silk twill earlier this year. The mousseline is also beautiful but for me the watery deliquescence of the silk is TDF.

My DH and I sheltered during the first year and a half of the pandemic at our home on Cape Cod Bay. We do not usually spend winters here and it was a very beautiful experience: austere, cold, grey, white and blustery blue. Not unlike this cw of the beautiful De la Mer au Ciel (sisters with @Forever Orange and @Cookiefiend and cousin to @citykitty24's gorgeous shawl).

You do blue so well LKB!

There is plenty of ocean life in Ugo Gattoni's Ex-Libris Atlantis.

I'm wearing this scarf today with some of my vintage coral.

Super cute with the coral necklace!

Thank you for your compliments, loves and likes! :hugs: :flowers: :flowers:

Two scarves with blue, Sweet Dreams, my first GT, and FoSA, which has the most beautiful blue of all my scarves.

PS: @LKBNOLA: it was the Napoléon virus I finally succumbed to, after having seen all those scarves here, thankfully not C19 - and I love your Beverly Hills as 90 cm silk!

Congrats on you SD GT! You've got what most of us are looking for right there!

Joining the undersea theme with Chemins de Corail, as I believe @LKBNOLA did earlier in the week. Great colors for fall as well. Shown with late summer blooming turtleheads.

I adore the beautiful slate blue of this one colorway.

That Sweet Dreams is so lovely on you, Agrume, and FoSA is grand, too.

Just stunning, Lkb, all three. Beverly Hills is fantastic. Love your lippy, too.

First, let me just express the fervent hope that any TPF scarfies who are or were in Hurricane Ian's path are safe and secure from the storm. The pictures and reports in the news are devastating-- sending wishes for relief for all affected...

This is my very favorite of this charming 70 @Redbirdhermes! I missed this cw and have always regretted it...
Beautiful scarves! And you are a master knotter (is that even a word? ) You inspire me - and I am sure many of us - with your beautiful folding techniques!
Thank you so much @Forever Orange! It was a very effective distraction to work my way through every one of beautiful Mai Tai's knots during the pandemic! And then to learn so many other creative ties, drapes and knots from the lovely scarfies here. The knots pictured are Criss-Cross Slide using a shawl ring for a 90, Waterfall Knot and Papillon Knot-- all from the Scarf Art App.
Thank you sweetheart - you are so kind!

Gorgeous!! Wow!

Such a fun color and perfect with your coral!

Thank you so much Forever Orange!
:ty: and :hugs: @Cookiefiend.

Oh, @Agrume! I am so relieved to hear that it was a Scarf Virus! This is the first sighting of Sweet Dreams-- so beautiful on you. And your FoSA is TDF-- the most beautiful blue and border... (and thank you!)

Twins @Teaforparrots! I love this on you and you have highlighted such delightful parts of this design with your perfect earrings...
Beautiful @EtsyBoss-- please teach us all how you corral your CSGMs into such a lovely cowl...
When you are pretending you don't feel like doopy and trying to do computer work anyway.... Grand Fonds pareo as a scarf today.

You are doing a good job of not looking doopy at all @bunnycat!
Just stunning, Lkb, all three. Beverly Hills is fantastic. Love your lippy, too.
Thank you @Karenska! That is the special edition lipstick from last summer-- looks very orange in the tube but a nice warm color!
Speaking of watery blues, I am twins with @LKBNOLA ’s cw of Le Voyage de Pytheas, a calm blue-grey. But l I also have the taupe/red-hemmed cw, and there are pale blues in that one, too. Two archive shots to show the pretty blue water in this beauty.

It is my dream to double-twin with you (and @Nomad, I believe) on this red hemmed cw @Karenska! Note to self: red sweater for Pytheas!

What a nice blue on you, Bunnycat. So pretty with your shirt.
Thank you kindly Karenska. :flowers:
