Another dexterity game I liked is pick-up sticks. The version I played had solid colour sticks with one bonus stick in a different colour that won you extra points.
Pick-up sticks appear in Faites vos Jeux and is the motif for Mikado. H also sells the sticks themselves.

Sotd Cheval Turc with a little hoof poking out. At first I wasn’t sure I was ok with horse parts randomly sticking out on my scarves but now I’m good with it. Like several others on this forum, I loved Breyer horses when I was a kid. I also had a white horse with articulated joints that I was fascinated with. It came secondhand from a yard sale or something and required a lot of cleaning. I named it Formula 409 ;-) I now enjoy the horse images on my scarves as a nice reminder of these childhood toys.

First off I wanted to say I am loving this sharing of our nostalgia for our pastimes in youth. Somehow I lost my multi quote so bare with me with my memory. @xincinsin your parcour reminds me so much of my much loved mazes. That pesky ball in that plastic maze. The color too is amazing. @Redbirdhermes jeu is such a cool scarf and the soft colors in yours are spectacular. Awesome against the peach. And I have finally found a cw to hunt for In faites. I absolutely love that game scarf. I love your blue but my hunt begins for a lighter cw. Can’t remember if it is white. I screenshotted. @LKBNOLA the colors in your Objets are stunning. I think this is a wonderful cw on you! While I tried it on in boutique yesterday and thought for sure I would love it on my neck, sadly I did not. So I will absolutely admire it on you!! And your collage is awesome and illuminating. I bet helpful for designing outfits. Hopefully I will migrate to that usage. Right now I am doing the collage to check in on if they are “my” (summer) colors or not. I’ll get to where you are soon I hope! Though I am already doing better w outfits just doing the process I’m at now, so checkmark ;)
@scarvesandhandbags this is spectacular with the pink. And I love the tie. Must remember to use that sometime. @HScarfCollector i love scrolling and knowing exactly who it was who posted such variety. I always know it’s you posting your beauties! Thanks for sharing your collection. My fav is the dramatic black volantes.
@Teaforparrots i fall for that Cheval each time your wear it. looks amazing with this chunky red sweater, and chic with sweater belted!

Well- hello Scarladnia! We had a glitch today and so I will do a quick jump start on the new theme, which dear RBH has so cleverly segued this morning.

25 Sep 2022 The Blue Planet: Blue scarves, and those showing ocean life

I'll keep it brief, as I have been sleeping most of the day away with a sinus infection and this week we'll focus on the wonderful world of blue and ocean themes. This is great! Because I need a chance to take out my Under the Waves and other fishy themes. :smile:

Here with Paradaiza in soft pastel blue and pink with fish swimming lazily through pale blue waters.

Thank you @Maedi-- this was on y wish list for a long time and although I was iffy about some parts of the cw it really is quite a magical blue! @Redbirdhermes and I are triplets with @Nomad as well. I hardly ever see this design and would love to see your cw. I know only of @croisette's cheerful yellow one...

You definitely need this one if you are a Pierre Marie fan @Nomad! My DH calls this red one my "candy cane" scarf :lol: There are a lot of lovely cws out there and it is definitely not hard to find...

Oh, so lovely @Karenska! Thank you so much for helping me decide on this one when I was unsure earlier in the season. So happy we both settled o this lovely cw. It is a wonderful "meta" scarf design and while the cw that @Redbirdhermes has is the best in my opinion for the design (it shows the Bees, the trees and the Greek keys to the fullest), this one is beautiful on you! Nice to see you back :heart:

LKB - I owned Potager in the Plum colorway at one time and also a lovely blue one but rehomed both during a culling event! Now I am left with one in green that is so ME. I’ve not seen this one posted before.

I love the blue on the Tigre Royal with the brown/orange! Definitely your best colorway.
