love the pink in this cutie. And am with you on loving mythology as a childAgrume, these are both lovely, and elegant, as always, and such warm recollections. Ballet Aquatique is a fabulous color way. Similar colors to my Sous le Charme d’Orphee twilly which is, for me, on theme because when I was a child then into adulthood, the Greek myths filled me with awe. Early on I read a volume written for children, then my Nonno’s dog-eared copies of Bulfinch and Hamilton. In college I read Robert Graves.

Happy cheerful making scarf indeed!FdC on a lovely cool day! The shape of this bird reminds me of a bath toy I had when I was a kid. You could wind it up and it would “swim.” We’d tie a string to it and play with it in the brook down the street.

So beautiful. Love the windows details. As for the colors, dear Julide, it is certainly navy (Hermès marine?); I see no noir in the scarf at all.

Wonderful post, dear LKB, thinking of Sebastian and his Caribbean accent. Magnificent cw of UTW, beautiful on you, and a sweet recollection. I think @MAGJES is your twin and once gave me a big thimbs up on this cw, but I didn’t acquire it. My loss. Safe travels and blessings as you begin your holy days.

How clever to find the piñata @Redbirdhermes! I don't have this Gattoni but your cw and post are making me look again... So fun. This piñata in the corner is my favorite detail in La Legende du Cheval. Pinatas are filled with candy and toys for children. There is also maypole dance.

Fairy tales and swimming were big parts of childhood for me too @Agrume! I am still looking for Ballet Aquatique... sigh.2 scarves this week, both acquired following CCP, as explained by LKBNOLA.
Ballet Aquatique, and I remember those long summer afternoons as a child, spent at the local public swimming pool doing all kinds of exercises including dancing.
And Avez-vous bien dormi - I have still some cassette tapes with my mother reading us those fairy tales.

That loud thud was just my jaw hitting the floor @citykitty24 -- this is a stunning CSGM. One of my favorite designs...
Just perfect for you @Nomad and your color wheel (if you used it) is not letting you down with this perfect styling. Fantastic to pick up the two blues in the scarf so perfectly. And a lovely association to play-acting and imaginary adventures in childhood.Playing pretend and play acting is a favorite fun game for many. Honoring that with Acte iii

A fabulous scarf and colorway, @LKBNOLA. Love it against the navy top. It’s about time here to dig out the winter wardrobe where my navy sweaters reside. I also love that particular shade of medium blue that Hermès has this season. Great connection to “Goodnight Moon”, one of my favorite children’s stories.Like my twin @Karenska and my sister @Redbirdhermes, I knew I was going to debut the wonderful toy-strewn Objets de Curiosite this week. I tied it to show the corner with the large toy horse-on-wheels and then folded to show the corner with the moon, which reminded me of a favorite book of generations of children including in my own family. Bonus shot of the most recent member's bookshelf! For @Julide, with respect to colors, the cardigan in my second mod shot is true dark navy, as is the blue in the scarf. Finally, our wonderful @Nomad inspired me to make a color collage for this scarf. It is far from ideal, as the colors are not proportional to the design, but it was a fun and helpful styling tool with a scarf that has as many colors and shadings as this one... With great thanks and appreciation to @bunnycat for leading us and the rest of y'all for the truly fun, nostalgic and creative posts this week.
