Not on theme sadly. I threw this on when I realized it was fairly chilly at 65. I love that this cw goes so well with my jeans. And apparently my leather tote I use in Autumn. But yet again daughter gave opinion today. She said she doesn’t like this scarf on me because of all the busyness on it . A thought I had had too myself last week when I reached for it, but I love the colors so much.

I love this shawl on you! With your amazing hair and a plain gray top, it looks stunning. The colors, but also the busy-ness make it so lovely . Daughters have different tastes than mothers because they're different generations ;)

What a lovely theme for this week. We are still having summer weather here, while trees are starting to show a hint of change.

So I just dove into my scarf drawer and pulled details that I feel meet this week's theme.

Rocking horses have been showcased in different scarves with H. Here in both RMLC and Story.

One I will reach for next month is the Triples and their reminder that a city can be a very large playground! And it is fun to play with pigeons... well, we may have to agree to disagree on this one.

Also some games/toys are specific to one's country. A good reminder found in Rd'A with 2 boomerangs used to framed 2 of the corners.

Finally, my cats can find all kinds of "toys" in our backyard. Cave Felem indeed, little critters!

As I've mentioned before, it reminds me of my house after a visit from my 2 year-old GS.

My SOTD is Objets de Curiosite.

YES, @Redbirdhermes! Look at how clever you are, finding those tiny details on Objets for this theme! One for these is on my wishlist, and now moving up on it after seeing yours modeled. And what a beautiful little grandchild!

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! Our theme calls for toys and games-- well my dog just loves to go to the dog park! Unclipped from her leash she can play fetch with a ball, play tag with other dogs, engage in a little hide and seek in the bushes and wrestle with a friend in the sand pit. My SOTD shows dogs at play in a stylized landscape which was inspired by gardens in Rome but which pretty much evokes any off-leash park full of dogs: En Liberte!

Very pretty paired with purple.

@hotgalaxy, I watched too and the thing that choked me up the most were the Corgis in attendance and the Queen's pony Emma, spotted with a scarf on her saddle... Pass the tissues, please...

This is a beautiful photo and tribute @Redbirdhermes -- perfect color for the scarf and your pearls and tie are lovely. It was nice to have this beautiful scarf with the Queen's choice of colors to mark the solemn and historic occasion. I will always remember wearing it on that day...

Just a lovely pairing of silk and jewelry and beautifully composed tribute to Her Majesty @Karenska.

Absolutely lovely and so sentimental for me. I loved the book and the scarf is a perfectly tender match @Cookiefiend (and :ty: ).

Thank you @MAGJES! I think it is "the one" :hbeat: for a great many scarfies...

Great tie @bunnycat! Love this one on you...

Twins in both the scarf and the sentiment @de vent. And I seem to have lost the quote but I see that @EtsyBoss is also wearing her VE LE in tribute to both the Queen and her grandmother. Lovely both!

I love this on you and I think it adds just wonderful design and color to an otherwise subdued look. Daughters are the toughest critics but I think this is a keeper in your closet @Nomad!

Thank you @Snausages! I my house, the book was also beloved.

Oh, my Breyer horses! We just brought out the kids' red wooden barn full of Breyer horses and ponies when my grand-little was visiting earlier this summer and I watched as another generation began to fall in love with horses...I am twin on this gorgeous gav and love this pairing of color and jewelry. You are always on point @Snausages...

Wow! How gorgeous this is on you @Maedi! It really makes you glow and your earrings are perfection. Truly lights up your face.

Thank you both very much @Maedi and @MAGJES!
Thank you so much. Blushing. I was also most touched by the beautiful pony and corgis. The pictures of Queen Elizabeth riding her ponies in her Barbour and H scarf were always special to me.

Maedi, a friend just identified the scarf on the pony Emma as Royal Mews. But I agree-- I love those photos of the Queen doing what she loved...

Thank you kindly Nomad!

The colors are wonderful on this, and go well with the casual gray and blue.

I do like the MTS- I just wasn't as fond of most of the color reditions they did of the designs for them (except Animapolis and Grand Prix F).

This is a great connection for games week. Love that little Kelly charm.

Beautiful on you Maedi! Congrats on finding a green one!

Thank you hotgalxay.

Thank you MAGJES- it is! And the cotton is so very comfortable.

Good find for this week! Toys and games with pets seems like a perfect match to me. :)

Thank you kindly LKB!

I love that color of Fbg by Night! Great connections for this week's theme. :)

Perfect colors and boy I bet my grandparents had to deal with that many times when we visited with me, my littler brother and my cousin all being little at the same time. It probably looked like a disaster area....
Thank you, bunnycat. Bought it online from the European website while I was there in the summer.

:faint: what a pairing!! And agree in FULL w magjes below that purple is absolutely your color! And the colors in this scarf are your colors too! Whatever the tone is, it’s perfect On you!
Let it be known LKB that purple is your color! ...such a gorgeous contrast with your hair. This colorway is beautiful on you.

Count me in as one of those who sobbed when they wanted to burn the velveteen rabbit. And I think I acquired Raconte Moi le Cheval because of the nursery room rocking horse which had been made real a long time ago.

Today, I wore double scarves for the theme: Faubourg by Night and La Patisserie Francaise. Faubourg by Night features a wonderful kaleidoscopic view, and kaleidoscopes were toys which entertained me for hours.

Patisserie reminds me of the local word for both cooking and toys. When we say the Malay word "masak", we refer to cooking as in, "Hey, who is going to masak lunch?". But when we say "masak-masak", we refer to kids playing with toys, especially when they pretend to cook and serve food. I had innumerable made in Hongkong plastic dolls tea sets and some Asian toy cooking utensils made from wood or bamboo. In the department stores, there were also beautiful toys made in the UK which had tiny replicas of cakes and trifles just like those goodies depicted on Patisserie.
