So will I!Wonderful. Thank your friend for all the pictures. I see Hermes had other scarves there as well. Now, I see that I need to plant a tree for the jubilee. I will be planting it in the US, of course.![]()

ooooooooh, I hadn't seen this cw. How beautiful, @croisette. Absolutely gorgeous. I love floral and this design and various cws are all unique and each stunning.
Your assessment/diagnosis of the artistic nuances of the British Heraldry scarf are really interesting. Who knew?Yesterday I wore British Heraldry in honor of the Queen's Jubilee. The stone ribs of the Gothic tracery reminded me of skeletal illustrations in Gray's Anatomy.

thank you, PaulaLovely scarves, and how appropriate for the Jubilee![]()
very cute, RBH!I'm celebrating the Queen's love of horses and dogs today. The scarf is Les Poulains by Xavier de Poret, featuring beautiful drawings of thoroughbred mares and foals. The Queen has raised, bred and raced horses throughout her life. The corgi stuffed toy was adopted by me at the gift shop during a visit to Balmoral Castle in 2019, the Queen's home in Scotland. She also bred and raised Corgis and enjoyed the companionship of her dogs all her life.

Just adorable for this week, Karenska !SOTE and continuing my daily tribute to Her Majesty the Queen, during her ‘PlatJub’, as my DH calls it. And hopefully staying on theme, too.
Thursday and Friday I highlighted Queen Elizabeth’s passion for horses and dogs. Today my tribute is to the magnificent literary tradition she was born into, specifically, England’s greatest poet and dramatist, William Shakespeare. He lived and wrote during the reign of an earlier Queen, another great monarch and Elizabeth II’s namesake. A Midsummer Night's Dream was written around 1595 or 1596, and one theory, though there is no proof, is that he wrote it for Queen Elizabeth I in celebration of the Feast of St John. Acte III with two different brooches, a SS Plique a Jour dragonfly, and a Wedgwood and gold Grecian fairy, both appropriate to the themes in a MSND. I chose to wear the white sweater and dragonfly. Also, this design filled with trees and woods is my way of celebrating the Queen’s Canopy, a tree-planting effort throughout Britain that Hermès-Paris is donating proceeds from the sales of the Special Edition Voitures Exquises.

Lovely scarf, RBH, and perfect for the theme this week and the jubilee. The corgi stuffed toy is adorable and I now wish I’d adopted one when I was in England in 2019. I had the opportunity at Windsor Castle and Hampton Court. Of course, I’d prefer a real one; they are one of my favorite breeds.I'm celebrating the Queen's love of horses and dogs today. Here is the souvenir I came home with from my 2019 trip to England, a 60th coronation anniversary plate.Lovely scarf, RBH, and perfect for the theme this week and the jubilee. Love this blue cw ... and you look smart, RBH!What a wonderful week we had last week with @Cookiefiend and our detailed scarves. I especially enjoyed the details of how you obtained your Platinum Jubilee scarf. And, I'm looking forward to @Karenska and more stories of our more difficult scarves. I'm especially delighted to hear you are still loving that Les Normands. It looks amazing on you.
Today I’m wearing Regina, which was the Queen's Jubilee scarf in 2002. I purchased this scarf and it sat until we had a sleeper scarf week and then out it came. I am thrilled to own it, but I tend to wear my red Regina more often. As I go through my scarf collection I find that light blue scarves don't get worn as much as other colors. So, I'm more cautious now about which scarves I get in blue. This special blue scarf is a keeper, however.

The Queen owns this scarf in a different colorway, and I attempted to duplicate the headscarf orientation from this photo today.

A closeup of the flower petals and the leaves next to it show this is the same design.

And, since I haven't worn headscarves since I was a child, here is a bias fold for today.
