Colours not very much typical for my collection, but the design makes me smile - out of the Fairytale series (4 contes sur soie), La princesse au petit pois. I remember having seen it here, too - on @xincinsin?

May not be typical- but turquoise and yellow are such a happy combo! Love it with the deep grey.

Well, after over a week of t-shirt weather (really!) the temperature plummeted 50 degrees in just a few hours Saturday night. While I was thrilled to be able to drag out a CSGM, my sinuses are NOT happy with the weather change at all. So I promptly pulled out my most cheerful riot of color Danse des Amazons to combat the cold. I don't have the moxie of our @Redbirdhermes , so this is me INDOORS when it is 26F outside....Pictures of what I looked like outside were verboten....

I like birds - they make me happy.

If I were a bird, I’d be a barn swallow - I love the way they fly so freely. One year - when I had all of my sons home for Thanksgiving - after dinner they sat around the table and sang “I Like Birds” by The Eels. It’s a favorite memory.
My tree (it’s still up) has several birds on it!

An unexpected and lovely gift from a dear friend ❤

My SOTD is Le Bal des Oiseaux, and I am happy!

The photos shared so far today are stunning, I’d reply to all but I’ve yet to make the quote feature work properly (entirely user error and likely cuz I’m being too lazy to resolve the issue)

thank you to all for the wonderful compliments, they sure do make me blush, so here’s my SOTD, Floréal, with me definitely showing the effects of last night’s insomnia
This is Hugo Grygkar 1957, it does have some stains but who among us doesn’t show some ravages from age and it was priced accordingly so at pre-pandemic prices it was a steal.
