In early May, we are going to our first wedding since the pandemic! New England is still very cool, so I am planning on my beloved CU shawl to accompany a jacket for pre-wedding drinks on Friday, and the same shawl to keep me from freezing during the outdoor ceremony and tent dinner. Cannot overstate how exciting it is to dress up again! And an H beauty certainly beats a cardigan!

Stunning cw. Loving the scarf with your turquoise top and pendant.
TY! It’s from a local jewelry artist whose sales come primarily from a 2x year outdoor arts festival. I have a growing collection of his unique pendants and the festival is coming up next week!
Sorry I've been AWOL from Scarflandia; between sick dogs and spring cleaning, life here has not been conducive to outfits and scarves. But today I had the chance to get a little dressy and don my new-to-me 140cm mousseline, Ors Bleus d'Afrique by Zoe Pauwels, in Orange, Rouge H, and Vert. I love the airiness and featherweight feel around my neck. To keep with this week's theme, I am coordinating with the books on the shelf behind me and the green of the leaves out the window...

So sorry about the pooches! I’ve got an elderly girl with all sorts of elderly issues so I get how brain space-consuming that is. The scarf is a gorgeous shade of orange!
Heading out to my granddaughter's senior college dance recital. The Tiger changed her stripes and I changed my top!

Three attempts with one scarf. I love love love this cw of Le Premier Chant because of the unusual taupe/grey neutrals anchoring the vibrant orange and lovely blues. But it is a challenge for me to imagine other than blue as a base. Then I bought some lovely short-sleeve sweaters (thank you JCrew). What do y'all think? Finally, this is such a very busy scarf that I tend to not think pattern mixing will work, but I tried it with a teeny striped pinky-tan top and I kind of like it...Any and all suggestions welcome!

Excellent pinks on the tiger and every combo with PC is <chef’s kiss>. I need you to come dress me every morning
A few more flips and matches for this week.

Before I decided on the Fleurs et Paillons CSGM the other day, I tried Zebra Pegasus with the nude pink shirt to echo the warm pink tone of the dusty rose ZP in a kind of warm pink and black stripe blend.

View attachment 5390674

Then decided to wait, and wear it later with black for contrast...(I'm so original...)

View attachment 5390676

I most often wear this Tout en Quilt with pink or purple (since there is so much there!) but a few months ago I tried it with the eye-searingly bright H orange cashmere sweater to echo the warm corals and peaches found on it for more of blended look. (If that is possible... ) The softer peaches recede in to the backdrop of the bright orange shirt.

View attachment 5390677

And then today decided to try to pair it with some of the brown and bronze shaded details on it. Here the peach shades stand out.

The rose really pops against the black top and I am in love with both looks for TeQ!
I have this colorway and find it hard to match! I need to remember Turquoise for sure. It’s looks great!!
I’m so glad I’m not the only one! I typically don’t keep scarves that only go with white but it’s too pretty to rehome. @scarf1 suggested the blues and I overcame my fear of looking like a walking blueberry  She’d also suggested picking up the pinks of the flowers so that’s my next mission!
From the archives…..

I know it’s a little much but if you can flip stripes I think I did it here. :P …..the rug is a bonus.

View attachment 5390955
Wonderful ensemble and the rug is indeed a bonus!
I truly love it against the mustard top. Blue and yellow is a classic combo that looks outstanding together, imo.
TY! I am in search of a lighter weight yellow top that has some frills because I *will* make it work!
Bingata with jeans and green cardigan and Tee. Did I flip it?
And a bonus cat tail.

View attachment 5390813
 Cat tail as bonus! I think she’s suggesting a dark brown for an alternative
Thank you, Orchard! And yes, they are yummy...

Thank you, LKBNOLA!

Thank you, Snausages!

Hello twin, and love the turquoise! I also considered a combination with yellow, but do not have any yellow tops...

How beautiful you look here, the first top is the perfect pairing! The second one gives a nicely relaxed vibe!

Those multicoloured scarf go with almost anything, and great to see them side by side!

Thank you, bunnycat!

What a lovely mousseline!

Thank you, Iflola!

Stripes on stripes looks always good! and the orange top would have been spot on here yesterday with all the festivities...

lovely soft colours for a classic!

Beautiful pairing with the soft green!

Thank you, Maedi!
After all the orange yesterday, some quieter colours. Navy is one of the easiest colours to combine, be it top or scarf. It brings out bright contrast hems and dots of colours. Rendez-vous Rive Gauche with navy and turquoise from last summer, and a navy top with De passage à Tokyo (and a nearly matching bag) from last week.

View attachment 5390918View attachment 5390919View attachment 5390920
Yay twins! You make navy so elegant and I love how it picks up the pops of lighter blue in Rendezvous. The Tokyo looks great against the black backdrop - very dramatic yet appropriate for day looks
Flip, you say? Flip?
No way!
Whatever goes on me
Is a mere accessory.

Two looks with Della Cavalleria Favolosa.

Every one of these pairings is stunning, Snausages; I don’t know which I love better. And that turquoise pendant :faint:.
SOTD to take a hike today in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Balade en Berline losange. On another note, was I really writing silly poems at 5:16am?

TY And all your looks are marvelous! That double face really is suited for so many outfits! And I lovelovelove grey and red
Kachinas wash today. White scarf with pink borders on blue, after yesterday's blue scarf on a pink top. I like this pairing.

View attachment 5390986
It’s terrific with the blue!
I guess I‘m not really on theme today with my actual SOTD: Le Jardin de la Maharani in a pale but lovely cw with a sweater and all bundled up later today because despite the sun it‘s still quite cold outside.

View attachment 5391148View attachment 5391149
Beautiful combo! You always have the loveliest earrings to complement your scarves
Carre Kantha to match my pants. Best I could do with - really hard for photo to reach pants :annoyed:
And here it is flat (sorry Her dog-highness refused to get out of the way)

Looks great with black AND with brown :dog:
Today’s style with an oldie.
Oldie but goodie!

Good grief this day just flew by! I've been dealing with computer issues all day, and failed operating system updates (DH, who is a computer engineer, says there's a reason he calls it "Crapple"... :P ).

Anyhoo, here I am trying to coordinate my lipstick to my scarf to stay on theme.

Scarf is "La Selle Imaginaire" in Gris Perle, Violet, Orange and Jaune by Jan Bajtlik. I adore it.

The knot is an attempt to experiment with my Trio scarf ring and a cowboy knot.

I just love how this scarf reveals different stories with each new fold...

You're not kidding, between the wind gusting to 40 knots and temps in the high forties today, Massachusetts is a frigid zone right now!

But my oh my, this ensemble is absolutely divine! The jacket is perfection with the shawl, and the blue of your Plume picks up the bright blue of the horse's legs. Brava!

love this so much. Exciting, and that CU is gorgeous.
My own private Alice Shirley week continues with 3 Graces. I usually wear it to accent the brights but today gave a softer look a try

Awillow, this is a beautiful and gorgeous pairing. Oh my!
Gosh, thanks, dear K!
WoW! I love the colorway you decided on. Brilliant colors!

Beautiful pairings!
True confession time, magjes. I couldnt decide. Sshhh. I own two. but thank you!
Splendid pairing, Awillow, and a nice way to wear a scarf!

Wow, Pirula, this is a perfect post for this week - all those different colours, and all fitting so well with the 2 scarves.

Thank you, Magjes!

Love the tan top, and the more colourful pairings, too! darker tops make the light hems shine.

Thank you, Karenska! And yes, it is PeF.

What a colour switch, and beautifully paired, Magjes! Love both colourways!
Thanks, agrume! ❤
Thank you @Lellabelle-- I have a weakness for the double face format. I love the slightly weightier silk and even when the sides are not that different, I enjoy the complement/contrast H magic produces. Your CdL is so lovely and really what a fortuitous and happy pairing with your mother's lovely pendant. I think it is so special when that happens...

Oh, @orchard I love these pairings so much! This design is on my wish list for the very reasons you articulated-- it is such a positive and lovely message. Your Pliage is adorable. Besides being so stylish it is one of the most practical bags I wown (though I am now longing for a less plain version!)

What a fabulous and informative post @Agrume. I hope you really enjoyed your holiday full of orange festivities and pastries. (And a Google Doodle too! )

This is a very beautiful pairing @Awillow. Nice to see you back in TPF company.

Wonderful pairings and a great scarf on site @Pirula! A favorite scarf and place...

Your collection is so colorful @Karenska-- it was made for this week! Love seeing your new LPC, too.

These are great @MAGJES! I love seeing the two formats and this is a favorite design of mine. Don't have a CSGM but did indulge in two 90s. Feeling a bit enabled....hmmmm
Lkb, lovely to be back! Missed you all! And thank you. :flowers:
 i am drooling over this outfit. Stunning! And agree with another who said great way to wear the scarf with that tie.

two gorgeous designs. Great examples with variety of tops. And a favorite museum! When I visit I always picture myself living in that home when she did lol.

that gav set always makes me happy to look at :-). Love your acte ( I still don’t have one) and it looks amazing on red. It pops. And the other two look wonderful with neutral tops. I forgot you had that blue chants. Beautiful

Gorgeous colors!! LOVE them
Thanks, sweetie! :hugs:
