5 happy things. 1. Updating my scarf cataloguing from the past few months of shopping 2. Scarf mail received on 12/30/21 - my last H acquisition of 2021 3. Charming details on scarves such as this couple 4. My little clamoring to be the model for the mod shot I was about to take. 5. No pics for my gratitude but happy and appreciative of the scarf mistresses and the lovely posters in this thread. My thanks for making these last 2 years of my H scarf journey so fun-filled and educational. My wallet says otherwise though lol

What a great post!!! And a very faaab LPdLC. I love that slate/charcoal border m. So elegant.

Well, today I received some very special mail in a most vibrant and happy colorway - bright lime green border with shades of gold, taupe, grey and soft turquoise making up the design and frame. I had purchased a turquoise cw of this design a few months ago but was unsatisfied with the condition so back it went. It was a blessing because I just love this bright green version, which is in a beautifully crisp vintage condition. First, my brother gave me a cash gift for Christmas to use towards the next scarf purchase. He loves boating, ships and anything maritime. Second, the acquisition was of a personal and kind nature from a new friend. I don’t have a scarf with this color in my collection, and I am forever fascinated with medieval English and French history, so it is a most important and special addition to my collection. Les Normands by Philippe Ledoux. :hbeat: And with my mother of pearl St Germain CdA which is a perfect match.

STUNNING!

Thank you all for your likes and sweet comments on A Vos Crayons and Magic Kelly-- especially Karenska, Bunnycat, Awillow, HotGalaxy, Agrume, Snausages, MAGJES and Cookiefiend. They couldn't be more different in color and mood but they both make me very happy...

New scarves make me happy! I just received the 2022 SS Sous l'Egide wash scarf so here is a quick bathroom shot. I have the Equateur wash scarf and it is so wearable. I love the texture of the wash scarves.

It is beautiful @FlaTiger! You can already see how wonderfully it will tie. We will be sisters! I have ordered the blue/ebene combo. Love this Pierre Marie design and I love the two wash 90s I own (Kachinas and Equateur) and I truly love the wash finish on the 140 silks.
Also, just for fun, I'm posting a pic from our recent vacation to Hawaii. I started the day wearing my Equateur wash silk in the traditional way. Later, we were touring a coffee farm. It was hot and sunny so I did like the Hermes models and tied it around my head. I don't know that I've ever done that before but it worked pretty well to keep me from getting sunburned. This is great! You are rocking the H look!
Very Happy New Year to all to all scarifies everywhere, and very happy to share one of my most happy scarves

A gorgeous silk and an adorable hat-- certainly makes for a happy combination @papertiger!

It is a truly stunning combination of colors and it holds such meaning for you with this great origin story! Congratulations on your new Ledoux and your glorious start to another collecting year! This is the stuff that scarfie dreams are made of @Karenska!

What a lovely post in every way @Foxy trini -- you have made us all happy with your neat pile of orange boxes, your beautiful new silk and your adorable model/child! Thank you for sharing your sweet girl with us. (And of course we always love your silks!)
Running out in a scarf that truly makes me happy. It is pink. It always makes me think of our dear @bunnycat when I wear it. And it makes me appreciate this little community of scarfie friends. Thank you all! :hugs:View attachment 5289113
Beautiful @Awillow-- such a lovely pink. What does H call this color?
Love Into the Canadian Wild and your pairing with the hunter green top. I have this scarf in the dark cw 08 Vert/brun/jaune with a black background because of the northern lights which appear in it (also have the SE Canada 150 of course!). I bought the 2nd cw because it also reminded me of the Northern Lights DH & I saw when we were flying late at night over the pole to Europe. The green aurora was dancing in a circle around the pole below us as we flew at 35,000 ft. Now if we fly over the pole we always ask the flight attendants to wake us up if it's visible - but we've never been lucky enough to see it again from a plane. Here's my colourway with aurora in dark greens against the night sky with stars.

A gorgeous cw of this icon and a fabulous story! I'd love to see all three of your cws-- what a delight that would be @shrpthorn!
Scarf mail today and I'm very happy to finally have the fairy cake scarf L'ivresse de l'Infini. And delighted that the chaos in shades of pink and red is corralled by a beautiful grey contrast hem  Rocking home on the subway after a long day at work with a brief evening stop at H where I picked up my first SS22 design.

Well, of course I can't wait to see what you chose from SS2022, but I am so delighted that you found that Ivresse and are now my twin @xincinsin! So often I am bookmarking your striking designs and hunting down silks you have collected. I think this is a wonderful and very versatile scarf that can read super elegant, feminine or jaunty depending on knots and what you pair it with. The grey hem is unexpected and rather fine on this cw, I think. Congratulations! :flowers:
I LOVE the wash scarves and am sad that they have been discontinued after this season. :crybaby: We are twins with this lovely Bleu Azur Equateur.
I am a sister Equateur silkie and love it in the wash too.
A wash scarf is a HAPPY silk in my opinion! Sharing my latest wash scarf purchase in a sweet colorway. Of course I could not resist the green hem.

Fantastic colors and hem @MAGJES!
I am SO thrilled you got one!! It is gorgeous. I truly love my turquoise and water colors one. It ties so well. Those ornamentals all over the scarf
Here is mine. Is this the color you returned?

Wonderful. I love the blues on turquoise combination @Nomad! That is happiness to a blue lover. I read somewhere that turquoise is the universal color in that it works with any coloring. It certainly works on you!

I hope I didn't miss anyone-- quotes have been super strange tonight...

Did art class in elementary school make you happy? If so, I have the scarf for you! Warming up the day with some primary colors (and a sweater encouraged by @turfnsurf, who inspires me to try more brights :winkiss: ) SOTD is A Vos Crayons.

Yes! This is marvelously happy & happens to be in my favorite color way... super congrats!!

The bright colors and whimsical designs are undeniably happy. But you know, a good neutral makes this scarfie's heart beat faster, too! For this afternoon's class I ZOOM in a lovely (mostly) neutral (orange hem!) Magic Kelly:

Beautiful ZOOM outfit and so cool that you can reside in two locations and be flexible to teach.

I’ll never forget that Fairy Cake reference (@Langsam) - this is so gorgeous.
Can’t wait to see what you’ve come home with!

:wtf: An Alice Shirley bird scarf?!? :wtf:
1) ZOMG!
2) My wallet just started weeping
3) I hope it won’t be - erm - a bunch of vultures… just sayin’
Some associations just cannot be un-remembered. Thank you, @Langsam, for the fairy cake!
Now to hunt down the zombie scarf...

Hi, twin! I wore it straight out of the envelope and to the boutique. It pre-dates my dear SA's stint with H, so she had not seen this design before and was quite taken aback by the chaotic pattern (very different from my usual taste in scarf design). We ended up Googling Zoe Pauwels and looking at all the designs she has created for H. I've frequently been enabled by the scarfies here and will definitely be showing my appreciation in July - our last theme that month celebrates all the times we've been inspired by a silky sister or other significant event!
