Thanks everyone for the beautiful photos. I have added quite a few new scarves in 2021, all of them make me feel happy. I have spent the last couple of hours, trying on, photographing and evaluating my small collection. This process has enabled me to see the colours and formats missing or overrepresented.

Thank you, Moma! I agree, the CWs of this design are difficult. I do not like the blue of the border, but as Cookie taught us, there are ways around it.

We kept tropical fish for many years. I loved watching them swim around the tank. So colorful, graceful and soothing in their movements. So, I had to have this scarf with its big, bright fish.

SOTD is Grands Fonds. As I'm standing here in a sea of fresh snow, this pretty scarf from a tropical sea makes me happy.

Wednesday's scarf of the day - Alice Shirley's Into the Wild. Happy to have scored this colorway years ago when it first came out. Happy to see all of the wonderful Canadian arctic animals hiding in the design. Happy that the Northern Lights are there in there surreal green glow reminding me of the time I flew them on an Emirates flight over the North Pole. A flight attendant woke us up to ask if my 4 year old daughter and I would like to see them. Yessssss! I will always treasure the long, long view we had and reminisce fondly whenever I wear this. I think I need a better color top to make the colors pop though. Maybe pink! And I desperately need to improve my tying skills, eeeeek.

Alice Shirley Tyger Tyger is the one cashmere I wish I had. I *love* love love it. So gorgeous.

It doesn’t show up much on the secondary market and it seems most of her designs go for ridiculously high prices. But I’ll be on the lookout!

Yes!!!! These are definitely happy. I have always loved your costume. Is it a 90 or 70? And I love plaid. Great colors in it, particularly those purples.

It is a 70… The reseller I purchased it from had two available that his wife had gotten as a business gift. I snapped them up immediately… one red and the other one purple… I love to wear them together, too

I’m still happy it’s cashmere weather! I abhor this one flat (I don’t like faces, although I’ve gotten past that with Kermit Olivers) but it’s scrumptious tied. It’s the perfect chocolate brown, and chocolate makes everyone happy, yes?

Whenever I need to lift my spirits, I reach for my L’Arbre du Vent… both my 90 and my shawl which I own in this vibrant fuchsia CW… Such a happy design


And, the riot of colors and patterns of this Voyage du Pytheas also always makes me happy


Must admit that, like @Cookiefiend, feathers make me happy and I find them so festive! Especially Toutsy feathers as in Carnival des Oiseaux… even the title says it’s a carnival! Chosen for the most festive occasions this past year


And, there’s no party like a Flamingo Party… I am obsessed with this festive design, owning several CWs in both 90 and CSGM form… This is my latest one
