Two beautiful 90s and your bag/twilly combinations are lovely and just darling @Sammy Royal! Fleurs d'Hiver is gorgeous-- totally understandable exceptions!
Thank you so much! Love your two marble silk beauties!!
Beautiful images! Every scarf, including the twillies, is exquisite and perfectly styled! I love how you displayed the horse detail from the H Story; the colours of it are regal and elegant!
Thank you, dear Stylehound! What a lovely post! ❤️ H Story is really versatile, each corner being different. I am glad, I made an exception…
Oh my Sammy, so many wonderful additions, congrats! Twins on ELeK! Happy New Year to you!
Thank you so much, my dear friend! Wishing you all the best!!

Great versatile looks! Les Ailes de Pegasus are so subtle and natural, that despite of it’s colours not being quite mine, it makes me dream!
Thank you again so much for your lovely comments!
Beautiful choices! I especially love the Botanica Grafica!

Beautifully tied!

Thank you GloWWOrM! I sadly do not have a Kawa Ora CSGM. I think the one you mean is on the left and it is the Berline Bayadere pareo in black and white (it was only released in black and white and is an unusual size).

Fantastic Holsby!

Thank you LKB! Yes- as I said, that layouts only half.... :crybaby: I'll try and make myself photograph the other half to "discuss" for next week's theme.... :panic:

Oh my goodness Sammy! That AuPduP moussie!

Your marble silks are exquisite choices!

And your ELenK is traffic stopping!

 I love it!
Dear bunnycat, thank you especially for your compliment on a scarf that was just meant to be the background!! :giggle: Wishing you a very happy New Year! May your 2- and 4-legged family stay safe and healthy! ❤

First up, my first scarf of 2022, which happened to be my Valentine’s Day gift: the lovely Promenades de Paris
View attachment 5680672

And, this year I finally found a coveted design: Coupons Indiens
View attachment 5680671

And, continuing with my penchant for multiples, I acquired two amazing designs in pairs this year…
After many years searching for the perfect CW for me, I finally found the bright yellow Cuvee d’Hermès, which made its happy debut on Easter Sunday
View attachment 5680668

And, later in the year, the white CW came my way and I couldn’t resist
View attachment 5680673

Another masterful design that I acquired in two CWs this year was Le Laboratoire du Temps
View attachment 5680670

View attachment 5680669

And, now my actual SOTD, which I already posted this week as it was a 2022 acquisition: Parures Precieuses giant silk which I wore this evening to the marvelous Salute to Vienna New Year’s concert
View attachment 5680674
All so lovely, Fifi. As a person who does not own Coupons (yet), and one who cannot decide on which of the fantastic cws I would want, yours may be THE ONE. Promenades de Paris is one of my very favorite designs. I love your cw. I had trouble deciding on which cw when it was issued, the rouge/caramel or the fuscia/green; I chose the fuscia/green. But this spring I had the opportunity to acquire the rouge, so here it is!

Dear @Karenska,
I can fully relate to this. I am fascinated and still looking at this design. The other day while in the store I have tried on the one cw I fancied (with two purple squares and a yellow border) and I wasn’t sure, then I was distracted by another colour and finally left without my “object of curiosity.”
I find that your styling of this cw on black background was great.
This is another absolutely marvellous brooch! I can see it matching this scarf on a purple blouse, or, indeed, on a light background. Its lines are in accord with the tiny flowers accompanying the bees. It’s one of the Objects De Curiosity in itself and should be happily exhibited!
Dear Stylehound, I heartily concur about future style options and can’t wait until you acquire your own perfect cw of Objets de C! Thank you for your lovely compliments. ❤️

Oh cookie so exciting to have a long hunt concluded! that is amazing in a moussie. I wish I could be as disciplined as you on never paying over current retail. I have a $100 over rule and only for the grailiest grail that I just never ever come across warrant it. Which is why I don’t own a Jardin anglais haha. But how I got my zabavushka, pytheas, Samourais, sieste, kimonos. But H math balances out with so many for less than retail…right?!?!

well…we shared the same thought tonight because lookie lookie what I found at the mall today hahah. It matched perfectly!! Crazy ha

I’m so glad you’re keeping this @Nomad - CI is a magical design and this is a perfect pairing!
Indeed, Robe elegant! Very beautiful on you, @Maedy!
I couldn’t resist this cw either and also got it quite unexpectedly. Earlier I lost control and acquired two other cws in a small format. It’s like Magic Flute for me: I see magic Robe and I mesmerized. It’s official that my 2022 most hypnotic scarf is Robe Lege.

@Sammy Royal gorgeous additions! That ELEK :faint:
I will close out this week first, echoing our lovely @Cookiefiend, with an expression of gratitude for all of you here on this thread who make the collecting, wearing and obsessing about H scarves such a fun, friendly and inspirational experience. I look forward to your posts every single day. Everyone here makes me appreciate and look at my silks in different and wonderful ways. A special shout-out to the Scarf Mistresses for all they do to make this possible. A happiest New Year to everyone. May 2023 being health, happiness and an abundance of grails and lovely scarves.
My last post of the year is of two truly special additions. I am very grateful to our Marble Silk maven @Redbirdhermes, without whose additions and alert, I would not even own the first of my marble silk scarves. I am so happy to have added two this year, both in designs that I adore. Here are two that have "pride of place" in my collection.
Brides de Gala Marble Silk (twins also with @Cookiefiend and @hotgalaxy as well as @Redbirdhermes)

And my most recent gift from my lovely and supportive DH. I am grateful for the interest and encouragement he brings to my collecting journey and for his good humor in participating in the @bunnycat inspired Scarf Gift Vault. This one was a surprise, though and I am deliriously happy to have it! Fouets et Badines Marble Silk:

Both couldn’t be more different and look spectacular on you!

Thank you @GloWW0rM, @Julide and @Snausages-- for your kind words, inspiration and encouragement!

Your new GT is a stunner-- I am smitten with how it looks tied and the colors are wonderful. And this is a beautiful flat lay of your 2022 additions-- what a good idea to do this-- it creates an immediate visual that is so helpful both to review the year and to plan what will come in next! And thank you @bunnycat for your nice words about OaSD-- that one cost less than a current 90 and was the one mislabeled! I even contacted the reseller site to check so their loss was assuredly my gain...

I always love coinciding with you @Maedi -- I scoured the threads doing research before I settled on which Tapis to hunt for so I know your choice also influenced mine. Happy New Year to you dear twin many times over!

All are fabulous-- just cannot pick a favorite but your last mod shot with the spectacular earrings is such a perfectly festive holiday look that I am in awe @Living.la.vida.fifi. Thank you also for your kind remarks and for leading us in the most useful as well as beautiful recap week-- it really helps to plan where you are going when you can look back and see where you have been along the collecting journey! Happiest of New Years to you and yours!

Excellent @Nomad! Look how great it looks on you and with the scarf! A friendly addition to your closet, indeed. Thank you -- my Harnais de Coeur came from Vestiare, a site I only just started looking at late this year. It is an employee scarf, I believe with an X rather than an S beneath the care tag. I had wanted it but missed it online due to dithering. I love these classic looks and there it was for a bargain price so I snapped it up happily... plus it is the most wonderful blues...

Simply gorgeous mod shots as always @Stylehound-- your pale pink sweater is the perfect canvas for this ethereal beauty and it also pops on the deep rose top. Your jewelry too is lovely. Always love your photos and stylings. Beautiful.

I am expressing a general TPF wish that we all will be back in this week at the end of 2023 showing our grails @Coco2606. Hoping all your scarf dreams come true and especially this one-- it is a wonder...

These may be your first H purchases but you charged right out of the gate in fine form @redheaddem -- so beautiful and lovely with your coloring. Happy to be sisters on several of your choices. True beauties to anchor your H additions going forward. So happy that you have joined our merry band of kindred spirits and fellow H obsessives...

You are too kind @Sammy Royal-- your mod shots are always an inspiration to me and I so look forward to seeing your new additions and your beautiful collection.

You look radiant in this fabulous red and grey version of my favorite AW2022 design @GloWW0rM! What a beauty-- scarf and wearer! Enjoy your concert and if you are performing, break a leg!

These are wonderful @Holsby (and I love the clever way you have labeled your mod shots!). I too fell for Regarde de Soie and love the pointillist effect. It ties like a dream. Drive Me Crazy with that gorgeous contrast hem is perfect on you-- beautifully combined with your grey sweater.
Thank you so very kindly!

Oh, what amazing additions! The ELEK is a treasure, but must say that the Ailes de Pegase takes my breath away

Thank you, Stylehound, it took me three tries to decide that this was the cw I wanted. There is a purple stone on the brooch which, with a light top, might pick up the lovely aubergine in that cw. Not so much with black, but black really does work beautifully with this cw, as @Living.la.vida.fifi astutely mentioned recently.

On this last day of 2022, I’d like to wish everyone in this wonderful community of scarf lovers a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year. It is an honor and pleasure to be a part of this special group of lovely, like-minded humans on a forum where I am constantly delighted, amazed and inspired. I have thoroughly enjoyed participating throughout the year, but mostly on this, my favorite week of all.

And, indeed, I have saved some of my best scarves for last, as these mousselines are truly treasures that I’ve been lucky to find this year.

I kicked off the week with the amazing La Rosee moussie changeant. I show it again as I will wear it this evening with my labradorite jewelry when I go out to dinner with family. After dinner, we will return home to try to comfort our pets from the disruptive noises of rockets and fireworks for the midnight rituals of champagne and twelve grapes

Another fabulous changeant entered my collection this year: the amazing, autumnal Serenité
137241FC-66B2-48FD-9F18-D60B0F3356CB.jpeg

Last year I was able to finally find a mousseline Grail design in the navy/magenta/rose Etude Pour un Iris Arc en Ciel and this year I found this beautiful CW
CA5FE0F2-3A05-4DCB-A8F1-015757FA1751.jpeg

And, finally an unexpected beauty. I own multiple CWs of Early America in the twill version and finally found the striking black in the CSGM version this year. Well, I unexpectedly found this gorgeous mousseline from a local seller recently

0CC13613-6CF5-435F-95D8-FFBD4076DEE7.jpeg

And, for my last post of the year let me close with this offering of flowers. These festive blooms are always available at this time of year from a local seller and I always bring some home.
With them I wish each and everyone a Happy New Year filled with silken treasures
