So charming this post, Coco, thank you, and your kitty is so darling. Beautifully wrapped package, too. Voyage en étoffes is gorgeous. Wow!Thank you very much @Karenska for this exciting introduction. The festive spirit will be with us all week .
Calm before the storm, Mr Cat slips in for a "Voyage en étoffes" in front of the tree ( he paid a lot of his own way to wrap the presents ).

All so very lovely, Lkb. I didn’t know we were twins on LPC. I thought you had the soft blue one. Such a pretty scarf! Of course, aren’t they all?TGIF, Scarflandia! Whenever we do these theme weeks I start off thinking oh, I have so little but then as the parade of beautiful photos unfolds across the days, I start to realize, oh, oh, of course! So here is a collage of four purple, (or purple-adjacent, to use the current buzz word) scarves for the week. I was inspired by @CedarWaxWing to include Le Premier Chant, which was not on my radar at all as I considered it a spring scarf. Baobab Cat, Tendresse Feline (purple with beautiful matte blanc!) and Fetes Venitiennes...

Don’t you look beautiful, dear Rbh, and very festive. Thank you for your kind compliment. Your Noel is gorgeous and I love, love, love the cw. Your pendant is jaw-dropping, sorry for the allusion, but oh my word! What a beauty. Spectacular.Thank you for the beautiful and thoughtful introduction to this most holy and joyous time of year, @Karenska . I saved my favorite holiday scarf for today with its busy shoppers, the snow covered branches, and the little purple toys enjoying winter sports.

Thank you for a beautiful introduction-- so many wonderful things to unpack here, @Karenska! I think I took my kids to see the Nutcracker ballet every year for almost twenty years of our time as a New York City family. Many of my daughter's friends were in the children's corps de ballet and everyone was always so envious of their special Nutcracker jackets! We collect nutcrackers in our family and sadly, they are all in New Orleans where I udually am at this time of year. I am particularly fond of my Moses Nutcracker and my New Orleans Saints Football Nutcracker as well as the traditional ones! Your Comedie is stunning-- and a perfect holiday silk...Forgetful I am, here are some photos of La Comedie Italienne flat, as requested by @LKBNOLA a while ago. So sorry for the delay, dear Lkb.This is one of my most precious vintage silks. I think I will finish (finally!) my decorating wearing this festive beauty and watch one of my Nutcracker videos!

Beautiful, festive colors for the season, Lanit. Love your coin pearls, too. They compliment the lovely lavender shades in your shawl. Thanks dear, it so happened that your colorway was sold out and I was delighted when the green one worked so well instead! Scarf fate!
Today’s shawl also happens to be green too. Le Songe de Licorne in mint green and violet made me feel a bit Irish when wearing it. Wearing with my sparkly coin pearls.

Scout and I say thank you for your lovely welcoming comments! He is settling nicely and I am over the moon to once again be a two dog household. Here they are-- Scout is very very tiny as you can see, considering that his big sister Maisie is barely 20 lbs!Dear LKBNOLA,
Congratulations! Though I love all your posts,
(really diving into them... and with some scarves I am sister or even twin - am so often pleased how all the colour variations seem to suit you, many I can only dream of, and it is such a pleasure for me to )
but BUT THESE these photos: to melt all the snow. Thank you for sharing this sweet family addition. It is so heartwarming and I wish you (of course all of you) a long happy healthy life.
How lovely, Lkb. Such an iconic design and elegant colorway. I love it with your sweater.I am celebrating the start of Chanukah tonight, but I love all mid-winter festivals. Today I am sharing a new to me Fleurs d'Ecosse which splits the difference between Chanukah's blue colors and the red we associate with Christmas, merging the two into a lovely tartan plaid, which would make my Argentine-Scottish grandparents proud. I own this lovely scarf thanks to our own @Snausages, so it also celebrates the joy of scarf friendship as well as all the seasonal delights!
