Wore Jeu de Cartes today, first in a no-name wrap, then in the snail. View attachment 5000216View attachment 5000217

Both of them are awesome, dear @momasaurus !! Love your snail knot, oh you mastered it:hbeat: I especially like the the red & black bow  And your no named knot is beautiful as well!

Sotd. Into the Canadian Wild. First time outing. This pattern is very prized by me So I’ve been keeping it pristine . Glad I gave it a spin tho! View attachment 5000279

Oh we're twins!!! :hugs:It looks so great on you, dear @k_alleycat2000, and I love your bib knot

Well I had a busy day but managed to snag a little time to try some knots: snail, double knot, half bow (just with bias fold) and with ends pulled up and through scarf ring. Sorry for my blurry selfies (this Art du Sarasa is prettier than my pictures give it credit for!) This is so fun but challenging and requires some strategy as well as practice.

Then I tried @Yoon daily scarf 's "snail knot for dummies" with my lucky New Orleans Saints scarf (black and gold!) and that was an easy, pretty and practical knot! I would love to try it with a mors ring, too.

Thank you all for sharing your gorgeous scarves and photos.

Oh you made them so perfectly, dear @LKBNOLA !! Love love love them all :hbeat: Oh and the last knot is so beautiful too! Actually, my 'CD snail knot' starts from that 'CD bias fold knot'. It's my favorite! Not for 'dummies', never !!! hahaha :giggle: Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful knots♡

I am in awe of everyone’s knots and scarves! I truly must spend time studying and practicing.

Today I wore a purple Ceramique Ottomane inspired by a knotting card - I don’t know if the desired effect was achieved

So at the end of the day I swapped for a Sweet Dreams in my go-to Infinity knot.

Beautiful knots and more beautiful smiles, dear @Snausages  Thanks a lot for sharing

Wonderful knots and scarves. I notice you are really thoughtful about coordinating your sweater colour with your scarves or vice versa, so beautiful Yoon daily scarf.

Very pretty knots Magjes. I especially love your purple scarf in the last pic, what’s the design name?

Oh thanks dear @More bags. You're right! I love color plays. It's my big pleasure to coordinate the same scarf with different knots and different clothes. :graucho:

Inspired by the video I adjusted one of the styles to accommodate my ever useful 45cm Parade di Leonhardi, quite pleased with my first attempt.

Welp - I’m loving the No Name Knot... *knot* that I can figure out how you did it!
The Snail is super cute too tho!

Woot - another twin! This scarf is so amazing! Thank you for showing so many knots!

Well - words fail me. They’re all lovely, but your happy smile outshines them all. I’m so happy to see you and your scarves!

:giggle: Me too! :giggle:
So smashing!

This design compliments your curls so beautifully
Lovely colorway! You mastered the snail knot. I’m feelin’ that no name knot!

Love seeing the green leopard! This looks great!
Both knots are beautiful momasurus. I like how the snail knot shows off more of the design and cool border.
Looks great, moma, esp. the border!

Thank you all so much. The border on this Jeu de Cartes is so cool. @Yoon daily scarf - your snail knot is definitely a hit with everyone here - it's actually easy! Thank you - I feel like I have a new toy.
No name knot - started as a messy bias fold, then tied high up with one very long dangling tail. Then I got annoyed with the tail and wrapped it back around my neck and tucked in the end.

Impressed by dear @Living.la.vida.fifi 's fabulous Edot knots, I brought some achieve pictures of my Edot knots. I used to make it with long tail but next time, I'll try it as dear Fifi's style!

Hope you like it too!! :hbeat:

This is such a marvelous design and I can understand why you are enthralled with it. I am as well, as my grandfather was Spanish and I love Spanish dance.
I also took flamenco classes, but flunked out because I was the class clown. My daughter took Spanish dance classes for seven years and did all the competitions and shows.
But, even without a connection to Spanish dance and culture, it is a great design. I thought you might enjoy seeing mine

I love Spain and the rich history and culture there. The Food, the jazz clubs, the churches, wine, food and countryside. Looking forward to visiting again one day. (An of course the handsome/beautiful Flamenco dancers!!)

This is a gavroche? WOW. Was a rubber band involved? It looks great.
Thanks Moma, and my mistake, having measured properly it is a 70cm. As I typed 45cm I doubted myself, gauged it by eye and was mistaken, which probably explains why parallel parking can sometimes be a trial for me...! I used a covered hair elastic to create the frill at one side.

Inspired by the video I adjusted one of the styles to accommodate my ever useful 45cm Parade di Leonhardi, quite pleased with my first attempt.

This is such a beautiful graphic scarf in a wonderful color scheme! I saw your other comment that it is indeed a 70. phew I’m so glad because I was really feeling neck envy there for a hot minute!!!! My neck can now rest easy that it’s not the gigantic monster it thought it was  Thx for the knot inspiration for my promenades de paris

As I confessed in reply to Moma, this is actually a 70cm, my mistake, apologies for any confusion caused...

This is such a beautiful graphic scarf in a wonderful color scheme! And I really hope that this is a 70 and not a 45 because if not...it means I have the biggest neck ever because I could never have this much fabric left over after wrapping one around my neck . If it is a 70 then yay! I will try this beautiful knot w my promenade de paris!! It would b gorg w the ribbon hem. Thx for the knot inspiration
Fear not Alleycat, it is a 70 and NOT a 45 as originally stated...
