Hear hear ... sooo true xicinsin!Soul sister! It was only one scarf at first, then only one scarf per designer, then only one scarf per design. It all went south within the first year of serious purchasing.

What a tragedy ... I do hope it isn ´t the original porcelaine blue one?Stunning Wedgwood cws! I have two but neither is exactly my ideal. Not a placeholder problem: in both instances, I genuinely thought "this is it!" but when they arrived, they seemed to lack je ne sais quoi.
I must confess the whole set is sitting forgotten in the box due to our multiple lockdowns.Gorgeous, all of them!
(I haven't worn either of my Samourais yet. They just sit in their boxes looking pretty)
Beautiful RBH ... heavy snowfall here.My plan, when I first began collecting, was to buy only one scarf per designer.
That plan was quickly abandoned when I purchased multiple designs by Annie Faivre.
I'm wearing her Tarot today. Our warming trend has begun, as we are one degree warmer than yesterday. It is only 12 degrees below zero Fahrenheit right now.

thank you for commiserating, Xincinsin! The scarf pic is so beautiful!
Your DH's accident - ouch! DS2 fell in the bathroom once and had a cut in his chin glued. The next week, he fell at the pool - history repeated itself.
Those bright colours are fabulous!
Hmm, if you were expecting leather, I can understand the feeling. Would you have paid the same price if you knew it was a fabric cord? I'm the type who buys clothing and changes out the buttons, and hoards jewellery components to cobble together, so if I thought the pendant was worth the price, I 'd just pull out a leather cord of my own to swop out the fabric cord.
this is the perfect colourway, and your brooch is the cherry on top, Croisette! I have not yet seen a colourway I like of this design, but this could be it!
love the jacquard in this, Karenska!Such beautiful choices, Fifi! Twins with Rainbow JL, sisters with La Comedie Italienne. Your BdG Love is swoon-worthy.
Here is an archive photo of my LCI. Every time this scarf is referenced or modeled, some sprightly notes of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite pop into my head!Such an iconic design by our darling Monsieur Ledoux.

Very cute!Sometimes, the "favorite designer" is not from Hermès itself, but one who does things WITH Hermès, for example, the talented man who crafted this from my friend's Father's old ties (what a lovely way to remember her Father):

Favorite movie, favorite line: “Don’t ask for the moon. We have the stars.“
Or Hermès scarves. YMMV![]()

Glad your husband is okay, Agrume.Off topic, but in a way a scarf on site as it was cold enough to skate in the heart of Amsterdam (though not on the canals where the ice was too thin). We went very early as I had do to my rounds later in the morning, and were cut short by a fall of my overconfident husband ending in A&E - fortunately nothing serious, only a heavily bleeding wound needing glueing. It started thawing now, so no more skating this winter.

Thank you, dear MAGJES. Les Chemins Secrets is a 140 silk plume. You have some very lovely Christine Henry designs. The red Peuple du Vent looks so pretty with pink.
**note to self**......hunt down a Les Chemins Secrets.....you and Cookie have shown recently how lovely this design can be.
What perfect tulips, Awillow!Lovely intro, cookie! Your au Coeur is spectacular. This should be a fun week. I am looking forward to learning a lot!
Happy Valentine's Day to you and all my fellow scarfies! xo

Yes!So lovely! Plumes en Fete is so beautiful in CSGM, and that Trim isn't too shabby, either!
Thank you for this series of pics; this really confirms for me that so many of Aline Honore's designs are *meant* to be tied; they might seem busy or haphazard flat, but they're absolute genius in a knot.
Thank you!!Oh, my, Cookiefiend,Idon’t know which one I love best! All are so fab but I think I’m most smitten with Touts les Bateaux du Monde. Zounds!!
