thank you for commiserating, Xincinsin!

this is the perfect colourway, and your brooch is the cherry on top, Croisette! I have not yet seen a colourway I like of this design, but this could be it!

love the jacquard in this, Karenska!

gorgeous choices, Cookie, and those bateaux...!

I recognise this, and keep warm!

Very cute!
Thank you Agrume!

All so very beautiful Cookie but I'm rather taken with Sarasa; I don't think that one got very much attention on the appropriate thread. Hmmmm, I might need to do a little research.....;)

I would love to see it, if you are so inclined to model it, Eliwon.
Karenska - ‘fraid don’t do mod pics, and frankly this scarf should have been framed. It basically shows pieces of jewelry thrown onto a bland background so I bought it purely as a memento. So many with the motive printed in gold all over the ‘bay, not expensive, H must have made a million scarves with that motive, for some strange reason - the name is Les Cavaliers d’Or.

Thanks, Eliwon, I will surely look it up. I understand about mod shots. One only gets to see my neck. I think someone modeled that design recently...

Wearing an appropriate hot pink on this day to express my deep love for Philippe Ledoux’s artistry here with Promenades de Paris. Also my new Lift Pendant with tag as I am not sure I’m keeping it. The cord is cloth! I’m fairly underwhelmed but I do welcome your thoughts, dear Scarfies. :hugs: View attachment 4990794
Oh, my- gorgeous colors & hem!
I feel you on the fabric cord... it looks like leather, but doesn’t seem like it will have the same longevity (though honestly, how hard will you be on it)?

My plan, when I first began collecting, was to buy only one scarf per designer.
That plan was quickly abandoned when I purchased multiple designs by Annie Faivre.

I'm wearing her Tarot today. Our warming trend has begun, as we are one degree warmer than yesterday. It is only 12 degrees below zero Fahrenheit right now.

“That plan was quickly abandoned...”
Yes, when bitten by the H scarf bug all reason is quickly lost in favor of rationalizing why we “need” another. :giggle:

turfnsurf, you have a wonderful collex!
High praise coming from you, dear Croisette

I had a feeling Clerc would be high on your list. (For whatever reason, there are a few Dumas designs like Cirque Molier and Les Amazones that always feel kind of Clerc-ish to me.) Beautiful! And perfect for you thematically!
Ha,ha- yes, I have a hard time resisting horses; silk or IRL. I own the sagey green Amazones ll and do admire CirqueMolier, but haven’t found the right one... yet)

I can see why you love these! The blue hem on the first one! And of course finish! Are my favs.
they are exquisite, Turfnsurf! Especially the red one with the blue hem...
Thank you both- we’re all similar in that the blue SdG hem called to me

All so wonderful, Turfnsurf but your Soiree is :faint:. You wear your scarves so beautifully. :hugs:
What a sweet compliment- thank you :flowers:

Happy Valentine’s Day my scarfie friends!
I thought I would share a few of my scarves that feature hearts or couples or other amorous themes to kick off Sweetheart Week...

Wow - fabulous array of Clercs. I love his designs also, but only have 3. This Poursuite is wonderful!
Many thanks- I stalked most of these for years before getting lucky

Stunning Wedgwood cws! I have two but neither is exactly my ideal. Not a placeholder problem: in both instances, I genuinely thought "this is it!" but when they arrived, they seemed to lack je ne sais quoi.
Yikes! I thought your blue one was perfection?

Sometimes, the "favorite designer" is not from Hermès itself, but one who does things WITH Hermès, for example, the talented man who crafted this from my friend's Father's old ties (what a lovely way to remember her Father):

This is a dear momento

Just found out Now Voyager starts at 5:45 on TCM. I’ve seen it so many times but I love it. I don’t think Bette Davis had a more glamorous role. Two cigarettes on a match! I just put a roast chicken in the oven and, since my DH is working on his book and we will toast at dinnertime, I’ll watch it for awhile, at least up until her amazing “transformation”, with a glass of viognier and wearing one of my favorite H dudes’ masterpieces, Dans l’Atelier de Robert Dallet.

Bette... The Queen! I love her in Now Voyager, too... Too many amazing performances, although I may go with All About Eve...
You have styled this gorgeous silk beautifully

My absolutely favourite designer is Philippe Ledoux,
today with WEDGWOOD

I must ask myself why don’t I own this design... I own a couple of Wedgwood brooches and earrings that would be perfect to wear with it...Love this Cw and, once again, perfectly styled with the cameo pin

Thank you dear! Happy to be twins!

so I wanted to share two things. First, another beautiful Honoré I just got and haven’t worn yet! I think Friday will be it’s Innauguration:

Second, the pocket square I gave DH for Valentine’s Day. He loves it!

Adorable pocket square and such a breathtaking shawl! Great choice!

Thank you, my dear friend ... waiting for your pic...
My 2nd CW is the rosé below

View attachment 4991391
Oooh, the rose is sublime!

Such beautiful choices, Fifi! Twins with Rainbow JL, sisters with La Comedie Italienne. Your BdG Love is swoon-worthy. :girlsigh:
Here is an archive photo of my LCI. Every time this scarf is referenced or modeled, some sprightly notes of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite pop into my head! Such an iconic design by our darling Monsieur Ledoux.

Well, that plan quickly slid down the slippery slope! I also have quite a bit of Annie Faivre... such an addictive designer! These colors suit you so well!

My favorite Hermès designer is Aline Honoré. I know I have shown my treasured silks by this master before, but please indulge me as I gather them together and show them again this week. Beginning with my beloved Parures de Samourais... first the 90s, followed by the CSGMs
