wow! This is just so fabulous!Archive photo - L’Hiver en Poste. I love the matte blanc, a technique I don’t know too much about except that it gives texture and dimension to the snow, in this and other winter-themed Hermès scarves. View attachment 4977641

Love them! Especially how the Noel looks against that beaded trim on your sweaterEnjoyed this week‘s eye candy especially! Such cozy combos and wonderful wintry treasures! ❤️ Many grails for me as somehow I have a soft spot for winter scarfs...Sorry for not commenting much - am just a bit too slow here...

Congrats! Such a great first scarf! Marvelous hem and a versatile CW... She is so me! And I had a wonderful time!View attachment 4976906View attachment 4976907
Oooh, don’t think I’ve ever seen the yellow CW modeled... It is fantastic! Somehow the fine graphic elements of this design stand out even more in this CW... I actually zoomed into the pictures! Love it!!Apologies that it’s not on theme - and I don’t think I own any designs that are actually winter themed! But this is my actual STOD - wearing a Kawa Ora shawl with some cheery (and my favorite) color yellow to keep myself bundled up and warm on a bad weather day.

Such wonderful colors, and so beautifully matched by your lipstickThis is a drive by, be back soon. La Legende du cheval a la plumes - actual SOTD. Didn’t wear this lippie for work day videos though, put it on after for a “virtual happy hour”.
Awesome! Thanks so much for the heads up!Hopefully it was a "got the address wrong" situation.
Repurposed vintage oval napkin ring by Stieff. A very good size for CSGMThere are two or three on the bay at the moment if anyone is keen on getting one.
Always chuffed to be your twin, Croisette!
The office is always super cold.
Me too.
They used to sell children's science kits which let you grow your own crystals. I was fascinated by them!
Such glorious colours! Especially against that sweater!
You can always count on my imagination
Welcome to the orange slope!
Don't you just love the sense of motion and exuberance in this design?
Love love this!Grey and yellow go so well together!
I am your twin! This is seriously one of those designs I call a “graphic wonder” and it is so elegant, yet dynamic in this CWSOTD - Soft blues and gray work for winter. It's all in the textures! Brides et Gris Gris.

Great post!@momoc, I love the Kawa Oro on you! I’ve never seen that colorway and it’s perfect. Somehow the yellow and the cream and gray seems wintery to me! Plus, you have e best hair!
@Langsam, I love the cool tones of the violet and blue gray combo edged in black. So crisp!
I was very behind in catching up and somehow combined the dark and winter themes in my head. Thank you @bunnycat for the ‘extra’ points, and I agree with @More bags that you deserve double for ice fishing!
I’m proud to be twins with @Redbirdhermes on the dip dye surteint above as I love her taste. Re this particular surteint pattern, @momasaurus, I know the feeling of rehoming too hastily and then kicking yourself afterwards (I did it with the ebene version of this sur teint — I was on a minimalist kick and felt I should choose since I didn’t wear them that often). Ugh. I still miss the brown.
Thank you, @More bags, the aubergine dip dye feels darker to me than black scarves in my collection bc the latter are often set off by white, light gray or brights (ex libris noir natural; tiger royal in black, grey or sieste au paradis with blck bordered shells). Here is the dip dye with an older Maitai fur collar from long ago (oddly the photo is bright); a black and white jersey Bolduc au carre (the latter, the skinnier me used to wear with the mors scarf ring, ruffled or as a top in the spring summer; EL noir natural and Tigre royal CSGMs. Here is Tigre royal with a taupe brunello cuchinelli alpaca wool coat.
The other CSGMs that I’ve been wearing this winter are etriers (Navy, Forest green, light blue grey, esp. in sartorial geometric designs seem winter to me too) and covetures de tenue. Here with an H sellier cashmere leather bomber jacket. Someone mentioned difficulty in wearing necklaces with scarves; I do it by pulling the CSGM tightly around the neck and have the necklace dangle below.
since I was so behind, I just wanted to mention that I’ve enjoyed everyones photos; was thrown into nostalgia re remembrances of past flattened plisses (not sure if anyone remembers @sdsurfchick’s dry cleaner
, either Halley or Madame Paulette, who could plisse both silk and cashmere); learned new terms like UHG and sisterhood of scarves (a la tolkien); and feel that the most wintery prizes in the last fifty pages should go to the fuzzy slippers belonging to @Cookiefiend and more recently to @MAGJES ‘s cat Winston with his gorgeous arctic blue grey eyes. @xincinsin, a dry cleaner might be able to further de plisse the astrologie? I now miss my long gone plisse s and my astrologie black and white pointu.
@BowieFan1971, love your new 70. The cream and peach is so perfect! It makes me think of ice cream and frozen peaches which I happily eat in the dead of winter. I’m glad that you have shared the start of your H journey with us!

plus some ex libris archived action pics from younger thinner days (post #605 ex libris CSGM as a dress — no idea how I managed that — oh, the thirty less pounds on my 5’2” frame might have somerhing to do with it —) I still have the chanel puffer in the sense that it lives in my moms closet as she hasn’t changed sizes as much as I have in the past decade. It does occur to me that I prefer 140s when I fit into the larger sizes in the closet (Which happens to be in winter).
Your Hermes in action
weibaobai, the 30cm looks lovely on you. The 30cm is a pure handbag, not really a tote. It all depends upon what you are used to. There are people shorter than yourself who carry the jpg birkin and 40cm birkins. I think there is a place for both larger and smaller birkins in your closet. If...forum.purseblog.com

Delightfully evil! Your BdeG is stunning!

What a beautiful scene! The colors are unbelievable! And, I want to trade my Central Park with you! Mine is the softer and equally stunning greens and lavenders, but I am such a fan of black! Your Wedgwood pin matches so well! While it is very grey outside today (and wet as well), we had a cold, clear winter morning 2 days ago, with this particular winter light of icy blues, greys and a hint of pink, and I enjoyed seeing your scarves with exactly this colour combination!
SOTD is Central Park, in a (to me at least) wintry colourway, with some warmer hues.

Love your posts... I always learn so much from them!A winter connection in my SOTD: Ex Libris en Kimonos in a cool blue. The traditional patterns on kimono fabric usually have auspicious associations. One of the flowers in ELenK is the plum blossom which, in Oriental culture, symbolizes winter and perseverance, because it flowers when snow is still falling.

Threw on Wild Singapore before teaching my early morning class. I actually have a harder time than I initially expected trying to match this one to tops. I initially thought it might work with orange and mustards, but there's so much saturated color going on that it feels like neutrals are the safest bet.
I want to try that fun knot with a CSGM that everyone's been showcasing tomorrow!
Oooh, looks so beautiful!
Congrats! It is fabulous!SOTD, scarf mail and on-theme with a cozy new-to-me CS losange, Cavald’or, in lovely shades of gris, rose, and mint with a bit of berry color pop! I am loving my new losange and I see one or more additions in my life. A very nice bit of CS without all the bulk.View attachment 4977481View attachment 4977482

So beautiful on you... and, those pearls!!I'm leaving shortly in light snow for a short daytrip. The horses and coaches on my scarf remind us of how much easier winter travel is today than it was in the past.

Hahaha! But 60 degrees is chilly for your area! That’s shorts weather up here! So, I braced myself and went out into the bitter Floridian tundra this afternoon armed with a CSGM... Honestly folks, this is winter in the tropics: windy, sunny and 60 degrees F... Still wore a sweater cape and threw Fouets et Badines over my shoulders
