Bova, as you and everyone here probably knows, I have been clogging up this thread for a while now since I’ve been unable to multi-quote, but finally fixed the problem today by clearing the browser cache! I recommend you try it... and, we can thank @xincinsin for passing along the information

Happy Friday everyone!! Thanks for the likes and loves and the many many laughs. You all make a long work week and below freezing temperatures so enjoyable with your banter, smiles, and scarf art. Last week when I went off in search of @Pirula ’s elek I said I’d post a pic of it the second it arrived. Little did I know it would arrive on my video free Friday and I wouldn’t be suited and booted for video calls as I usually am. Alas, here it is Golden Girls tee shirt and all. My mom (rest her soul) thought it was a total lark to buy me this one vacation because she often labeled my 2 best girl friends and me as the Golden girls because we had “old lady” tendencies according to her, and would often either be sitting at home on a Friday night when she at our age would be at the disco till dawn, or bickering about something inconsequential. @Hermes Nuttynut thank you for identifying the colorway for me!

Lucky you, foxy! This looks great on! I have not been able to,figure out if this would look any good on me and even if it did, what cw to look for. Fab!

I love all these. And well done with the pendant. I sometimes struggle with scarves plus necklaces. And I adore this navy jacket. Is it silk and wool or something? Looks amazing.

I too moma have difficulty with the necklace/scarf combo. Will maybe try pairing once or twice this week.

Honey - none of my zooms are "worthy" of scarves - I do it for myself, LOL! After all, I'm one of the squares I have to stare at.

I use scarf pics as my virtual background. Sometimes I use Pokemon, but I think scarves make me look slightly more serious

I hear you, moma. Sadly I have paid over the odds on some of the scarves in my collection. I may still do that on occasion, but only for a few select grails I have left on my list (and in the right colorway).

Until very recently, I had never paid more than current retail price, and most of my resale acquisitions were below current retail. Recently, I paid a few dollars ($15, $35) more than the current retail price for two scarves. Now I routinely see very high markups, e.g., $420 at H, $650 at resale, and I will not, for any reason, buy at those prices.

I've paid over retail for very hard to get grails, but really, how much you are willing to pay depends on how much you want it. I've also happily placed very exorbitantly-priced scarves on my bay watchlist because I'm fascinated by all those $3k Turandots and that $9k de Poret. They haven't sold so far.

This is great, bova. I hear you on the posting. Without multi-quote, I worry too. If you figure it out, let me know.

This is a scarf I will always and forever treasure because it was gift involving two of the best scarfies - nay, not just fellow passionate scarfies but people who have become two of my dearest in-real-life friends - in the world.
