I love all these. And well done with the pendant. I sometimes struggle with scarves plus necklaces. And I adore this navy jacket. Is it silk and wool or something? Looks amazing.

Thank you, Awillow.I adore this, karenska!![]()
We are twins on about half of these. My Armeria tends to stay asleep in the drawer. That poufy knot showing the mountain zebra is excellent!More predominantly black scarves or featuring touches of black... I’ve been hibernating all day today as yesterday was a non-stop busy day... so these are all from the archives... except for Ex Libris en Kimonos CSGM which I wore to run errands yesterday since we’ve had a mini cold front. I do love the black area of this shawl

I hear you, moma. Sadly I have paid over the odds on some of the scarves in my collection. I may still do that on occasion, but only for a few select grails I have left on my list (and in the right colorway).I agree. But it seems now as though resellers have doubled the prices on all scarves. I shake my head is disbelief scrolling through scarves on eBay.
Thank you, bova! Aren't we lucky?!Twins!! This looks amazing on you awillow!
Gorgeous karenska!
These are fantastic, MAGJES, so beautifully tied and arranged. What an interesting hem on the first pic - which design is it, please? Is the second pic Flamingo Party?
Beautiful, Langsam! So neat and well-coordinated. That is one gorgeous 70!Really nice collection of dark 70cm's @MAGJES ! Twins with you and a few others on the MP. This was my SOTD - sort of a red-white-blue thing going on today.

This is great, bova. I hear you on the posting. Without multi-quote, I worry too. If you figure it out, let me know.I almost hesitate to post since I am having such trouble with the multi quote feature. It seems like the system will only let me quote two posts at a time. Prior to yesterday I've always been able to multi quote many, many more at one time. Anyone have a suggestion as to what might be happening and how to fix it? Thanks!
In the meantime, my black cashmere sweater with a very bright and happy Les Confessions from quite a few years back now!

Tns, you pick such great scarves for your coloring. I love the way you tied your calvacadour!!! Gorgeous! After seeing @Croisette7 ’s black & gold beauty yesterday I went on a quest to scratch that itch within my own stash before I shopped (which I’m trying hard to resist)
I uncovered an old school navy & gold Calvacadour for my SOTD:

If you’re on an iPhone/pad using the app have you tried deleting it and reinstalling? Often that fixes bugs.
yup. Thanks!Perfection on you moma! ( Andto the business on top and weekend ready on the bottom! That's me all the time!
)
Thanks, honey!Perfect!
Thank you! I love black.Oh, what a beautiful colorway of Kachinas, Moma. You look lovely.
\LOL, yes. Thank you!Perfectly chic mullet* ensemble
*was it @bunnycat who aptly coined: Business on top, [comfy] party below? I forget, but makes me giggle each time; so accurate![]()
I hope you find it! Maybe when you least expect to (that was my experience). This is my dream Kachinas colorway.
I love the yellow border on Pierres.
I love these older scarves with wide borders and dames.
Stunning
Thanks so much!What a dream!!
I’ve seen this Ballade de Heian pop up before and have been so tempted! I also love blacks and brights so it has everything for me! And, the changeant is a dream! Congrats!
Such great comparisons pics!
And, here it is! Swoon...
Such a wonderful parade! But my fav is the Pierres d’Orient with that vibrant yellow border!
Oh, yes my word! How lovely it is!
Perfect choice! Now you have inspired me to go look for this one to try on! So incredibly beautiful worn with purple
What a fabulous red! And, the jacquard is delightful... Everyone needs a red and black scarf!
Question to self: how in the world did I never get a black Kachinas? Well, I recently got the giant silk, but I mean this more neutral 90? It is fantastic
All so beautiful, but that Bateaux that we both own is the winner... Gorgeous! And, all masterfully tied
Great choice! Can’t wait to see it tied
Yes - Mullet Fashion! It goes so nicely with your sweater and I like the way you tied it.
It looks great on you. @bunnycat called this Mullet Fashion!
+1, love it!
Thank you!I love this, moma! ❤❤
Thanks so much.Beautifully dark.
Cookie - what a vibrant scarf! It feels like spring. Really, truly striking with your black.Today’s scarf has lots of black, but more importantly (to me anyway) it’s loaded with green!
Au Coeur de la Vie worn with an all black outfit.

(also - if you can’t beat the border, be the border!)
Until very recently, I had never paid more than current retail price, and most of my resale acquisitions were below current retail. Recently, I paid a few dollars ($15, $35) more than the current retail price for two scarves. Now I routinely see very high markups, e.g., $420 at H, $650 at resale, and I will not, for any reason, buy at those prices.I hear you, moma. Sadly I have paid over the odds on some of the scarves in my collection. I may still do that on occasion, but only for a few select grails I have left on my list (and in the right colorway).
Oooh, pirula, so fabulous! I love it with your polka dots and blazer!Speaking of Tyger......
I’m just saying...

I admire you, karenska. 90s especially get marked up wildly. I have paid over retail on several, usually not more than $100. Sadly, that has been usually, not never.Until very recently, I had never paid more than current retail price, and most of my resale acquisitions were below current retail. Recently, I paid a few dollars ($15, $35) more than the current retail price for two scarves. Oh, my, Pirula-Twin, what stunning ways to wear this beauty! And the last photo! Great pattern on pattern - is that a shawl or a poncho?Speaking of Tyger......
I’m just saying...
