All lovely, Xincinsin - please take them out for a walkA quartet of black that didn't make it out of the closet this week. I did zoom 3 times, but the topics were dead boring and unworthy of a scarf

Congratulations - I'm glad you didn't want another minute!Off topic SOTD: Flowers of South Africa 01!
Not at all dark (eh, I guess there's some black in the border), but it's been sitting on my shelf for two weeks just waiting to play, and I didn't want to wait any longer!

Super excited to add this one to my ever growing 2017 collection. I'd had this one on my ebay watchlist since I first started collecting last summer, and when it went on sale I pulled the trigger.
I really liked the black background reissue of this design from last season, but I don't think a 140 silk would get much play in my collection. I also considered adding one of this season's Marche du Zambeze cws (that yellow that @Living.la.vida.fifi has is a stunner!), but since both of these Ardmore designs have borders that read similarly to me (floral with a sort of lacy overlay), I think I'll just stick with this one. Obviously the centers of the two designs are totally different, but I usually knot my scarves in such a way that the borders/corners are highlighted most. Maybe if someone has both and wants to convince me otherwise with some modshots I would change my mind![]()
