Scarves Scarf of the Day 2021 - Which Hermès scarf are you wearing today?

Today's scarf is a grail that I thought would be impossible to find. However, I was checking scarf sites on New Year's morning, and this beauty popped up. In my favorite dark blue colorway. I quickly did my homework and verified the seller and the photos, then asked myself if it was worth the price of three lesser used scarves? Heck, yes! I threw any New Year's resolution on holding the line on scarf purchases out the (Paris rooftop!) window and pulled the trigger. Later I checked the timestamps and this beauty was floating in the bay for only thirteen minutes before I plucked her out.

This was the design that broke my placeholder habit. You know, when you like a certain cw but it can't be found, so you buy another cw to stifle the craving and, in the end, you still buy the original cw you desired.

Go for it, @Foxy trini! I fell in love with this after seeing pics from Cookie and @lanit. Found it while trawling a Japanese reseller who described all H scarves as.... just "Hermes scarf".

Thank you for the tip! Yes, my one and only MT did try to strangle me when I wore it loosely looped I used a scarf ring to try to control its homicidal tendencies, but the weight of the scarf ring promoted the strangulation

Chiffres et Monogrammes, a birth year scarf. The soft black border fuzzed out into my worn black tee.

Perspective is so beautiful in blue.

It is lovely. Did you notice the difference in the two cws because of the clouds? The clouds in the black cw occupy more scarf real estate because more of them are in a pale colour. It made me go google other cws of Perspective. Saw a couple where the clouds are close to the base colour and so, practically disappear.

Thanks! It wrinkled SO much after one wear. I want it for equestriann wear though, so it's ok. It gets washed and iron after each ride.

Thank you! It's more of a rust. It's sort of a red brown. I actually thought it was more brown and was apprehensive about getting it, but I guess my intuition was right

Am I mistaken in thinking you have more Perspectives, too?

I have three. The last one is a 70cm in a pale turquoise. This was not a design I thought I'd buy in multiples, but the re-issue a few years ago, in a much wilder palette than the original, made me reconsider.

sotd and on theme w the darker side of things. grays and black w pops of color in it that I love. Les trophees. I love the theme on this and knew this was the ONE colorway I wanted in it the moment I saw it. So many of the colorways don’t do it for me sadly.

I know exactly what you mean. I like to purchase Pierre Marie designs but had trouble with the colorway selections of Les Trophees. I love the grays in this one.
