What a beautiful look Morebags! Perfect lip color and bracelet to match this wonderful colorway.SOTD - Clic Clac a Pois Maxi Twilly by Julie Abadie and Anemone Behapi Swift Bracelet
I am delighted to have found the idea of tying a knot at the back of my neck to prevent the inner loop from shrinking and strangling me throughout the day! Brilliant idea from @MYH tying a knot at the back of your neck with silk 140s and Maxi Twillys, old thread shared by @880.

Fantastic border!Coup de Fouet Au Bloc
What a find! Congratulations!!Today's scarf is a grail that I thought would be impossible to find. However, I was checking scarf sites on New Year's morning, and this beauty popped up. In my favorite dark blue colorway. I quickly did my homework and verified the seller and the photos, then asked myself if it was worth the price of three lesser used scarves? Heck, yes! I threw any New Year's resolution on holding the line on scarf purchases out the (Paris rooftop!) window and pulled the trigger. Later I checked the timestamps and this beauty was floating in the bay for only thirteen minutes before I plucked her out.
Introducing my Les Toits de Paris in dark blue for my SOTD.

In my world, it refers generally to the period when Hermés was staid, predictable and a favorite of the carriage trade, i.e., when it lived on East 57th Street in its narrow storefront. When did the house pass from that period...hmm? About the time Barney's moved from downtown to the Upper East Side? (giving myself away here as not world-travelled). Or maybe it was eclipsed just before the $300.00 barrier was broached in the realm of 90 cm. Prior to contrast hems and before the panoply of countless screens of colors upon colors. To quote a famous jurist, "I know it when I see it".

I’m staying home all day today, so showing a few from the archives...
The blackest of the black and one of my most special silks precisely because of its black CW is La Voie Lactee as it is the “glow-in-the-dark” edition, which was only issued in black. Yes, DH was puzzled when he found me in the bowels of a closet testing it out when I first got it

Though I am lucky to own the special edition Promenade a Versailles that resembles this black Flanerie so much, I always longed for this CW and was delighted to have found it last year after originally passing it up.

Afternoon, I was at the hospital visiting an elderly relative.
Chiffres et Monogrammes, a birth year scarf. The soft black border fuzzed out into my worn black tee.
