Lovely, all! Twins on the black birdies-- love that scarf! Have a fabulous trip @Pirula! Can't wait to see what Paris does for your silk drawer!!!! :happydance:

I love your "signal to the universe" concept!!! Brilliant @turfnsurf -- and I too love the feel/quirks of the "old souls" (another wonderful concept). Love the twilly/nano pairing...Ingenious!

 The CCP is a "necessity is the mother of invention" for the late-blooming collector like me! I try to view the process much like putting together an anthology of, say, poems. What is classic? What is beloved? What endures? What is new and full of vitality? A dollop of humor or the unexpected is good, too...And then from there choose the best/most appealing for me...

This. Is. Stunning. Congratulations @Julide-- what a beautiful accomplishment. I hope you keep them forever and that the two SE cws come your way. Truly a collector's collection...

Thank you so much, @MAGJES-- I like this design a great deal for that bodacious graphic border and the interior full of flowers! @blydia has posted her rando knot on the tutorial thread for us!!!

I so totally agree @ivy1026 -- I (to my regret) bought this one and sent it back thinking I had too many black scarfs already :whut: and to this day I regret I did not keep it even if that meant three JLRs!!!

Pass the smelling salts and lead me to the fainting couch! :faint: Wow @MAGJES, just wow. I am twins on a few but am too dazzled to even post. Coming around long enough to ask if we can we get a tutorial on your Acte III 90 knot? Then I will just collapse onto the couch again...

That is one gorgeous ELenK!!!!

Very pretty losange @tlamdang08 -- and super cute purse!

Thank you for the restful green @Julide! You are so right that our eyes need the break from all the silken glory posted here...

All stunning @MAGJES-- twins on Canadian Wild-- love to see your stylings...

Can't wait to see @labelo !Love your Three Graces and I made the opposite choice with Artisans-- it was so hard to choose. Often think I'd like to add a softer color of that one...

Thank you @bunnycat. Gotta have the home town team colors in the scarf drawer!

Hahaha @Agrume-- I am nearing the end. Spent a lot of time (and $$) during the pandemic with the help of mod shots here but I have only two scarfs left in full remediation status and one whose application into the CCP is under evaluation. After that, I am in pure grail territory! Squad goals...

Thank you so much-- those dramatic border scarfs make it easy @Croisette7-- they do all the work!

I can see why you made every single choice that you did and you have ended up with a beautiful, coherent collex that is stunning on you @blydia! Inspirational post.
Thank you LKB!! Promise I will do a tutorial! I've got several to do now.....hoping to do it this weekend!
oh thanks for letting me know about blydia's tutorial. I'm going to go check it out.

I love them both, RBH, and the one with olive green looks lovely with your new top. I am always tempted to add another cw, too. I only own one but I love both your cws and I adore the one that is yellow and cornflower blue.

Le Carnaval de Venise shows up frequently on the resale market, and I am constantly tempted to add another colorway to my collection. So far I have only two. I love this design and can see why it remains popular.

I'm still looking for the perfect scarf for this new olive green with white stripes top. Trying out Le Carnaval de Venise with the golden yellow border and orange hem today. My other colorway has a green border and a yellow hem.

All are such beautiful colorways! I'm really loving that green border....

ok so I don’t own any duplicates but that doesn’t mean i never bought them. in fact, this is my walk of shame. i ended up rehoming all of them because of something that bothered me in each. I am pretty ruthless about keeping my collex to only scarvea that I love every time I wear them and with these i had to tie them a certain way or they just didn’t make me feel as good as i thought.. here goes - the first is the keeper the other ones are gone

cosmo (again always first pic is the one i kept)- the brown in this scarf clashed with my wardrobe and complexion. also didn’t love the smoke corner. I adore the blue green tho
View attachment 5226450
variations of the jungle. too high contrast, and I just don’t wear pure grey as much for the twillyView attachment 5226451
acte III - the csgm rehome may come as a surprise but I kept reaching for it because I felt like I should love it. i only loved one corner. wore it 25 times.View attachment 5226452
plumes. the colors were a tad bright and sweet, plus it competed with my phoenix for wear.View attachment 5226453
kawa - the green and that one pale blue spot kept bothering meView attachment 5226454

rhis scarf i tried multiple times. both rehoused or in the process of doing soView attachment 5226456
I totally understand the love for the scarf but finding out that it's just "not me." I'm going mine atm and deciding what to let go.
I actually am on Flowers of South Africa scarf #4! There is always an on OFF color in each one I've purchased. I've recently decided i should have kept my lovely vieux rose one......I love seeing it posted on tpf.

Glad that you kept the green/blue JL Rainbow. Love those colors together.

SOTD Clic Clac a Pois CSGM

View attachment 5226695
Stunning!
I also wanted to love that red FoSA but wasn't ever sure about it.

View attachment 5226659
Actual SotD is Carre Kantha shawl, one of my most worn scarves. Unfortunately, I don't think my CSGMs will get as much use now that we've moved to LA, but it's a rare damp and cool morning, so I took the chance to pull one out!
Not a duplicate, but I would happily pick up this one in a 90 if the right cw came along at the right price.

We are twins! One of my favorites too. Great for Fall!
SOTD was Dans un Jardin Anglais. I kept looking for one, found the red cw for a very good price and shortly thereafter the blue one which I was really looking for (and then the corresponding bracelet popped up).

No CCP for those ones...

Great look with your top!
Fantastic!
I used to use a free app called GlamOutfit & one OS update it was no longer supported for iPhone; I was distraught! I had spent SO MUCH time photographing/ uploading/ removing backgrounds & inputting details (price, size, category, etc.) of my sizable wardrobe -including scarves- and had lost it all. I’m finally to a place to begin again & was thinking about StyleBook just the other day...your post will be so helpful!

Here’s my SOTD, Presentation, to be on topic:View attachment 5226694
Love this green!

Yesterday’s double was Amazone - my best example of H Math :giggle:

This is an archive photo of my first FP - I love this cw ❤
View attachment 5226701
Your Amazone is such a beautiful color!
Wow - FP looks wonderful with the red top. That top had to be a hard find.....I have that scarf and think the red is quite muted.....almost a touch of orange? You found a perfect match!
I’ve had several colorways of Texas Wildlife but to keep the scarf drawer from becoming a scarf house I’ve culled down to only two.
When @turfnsurf posted different knots to highlight different parts of scarves, I played around to highlight a corner.
View attachment 5226696
And I was chuckling because a friend taught me I can wear scarves as subliminal messages. So this corner is for when I am spending time with those I wish to turn my behind to. I particularly like the sneer on the ram’s face as it makes aggressive eye contact

View attachment 5226697
The yellow is amazing!!

One Appaloosa, two appaloosas... I went from none to two but only one will stay. The scarf is so fun and dramatic to wear and I wrestle with which to keep. I do love Alice Shirley but she is already extremely well represented in my collex and I don't feel enough Appaloosa love to double up...
View attachment 5226868View attachment 5226870
That is going to be a hard decision!! oh!! do I spot a yellow hem?!

Wonderful photos! I am also happy to hear how your collections are formed and culled, nothing like understanding how a curated scarf collection is done from many collectors points of view:flowers:

On to my next multiple. I do love this design and when it came out I was all a:panic:flutter:panic:Sadly I missed Dans un Jardin Anglais as I was busy on the hunt for this. Tapis Persan, wonderful elements of Persian carpets and drawings. I have a couple of framed book pages that remind me of this design every time I see them. Many apologies for my poor staging skills, I forgot to take the tea cloth off that I store them in:blush:View attachment 5227072
LOVE LOVE!!
Some of my multiples. I couldn't add more photos in this post, so I will add them in another one (and also have to photograph some that I didn't have archive photos of).

Grande Tenue - Henri d'Origny

Les Bassets - Xavier Poret. I really struggled to find this one so when the pink was available in the store I had to get that one. A few months later they also had the blue one, which was the cw I really wanted so I had to get that one too.

So striking Supermommy

Today I am sharing my Aline Honore doubles. These fall into the category of design-loved-so-much I had to add another. Forgive some of my older mod shots that hardly do these beauties justice. Trying to take some better pics as I learn and play...
Parures, Fleurs d'indiennes, Les Ailes de la Soie. Second Parures is my actual SOTD and the last pic is a lagniappe! I doubled my doubles and tried a very ungainly flower knot...

This season has been danger to my wallet. Got the Bingata twilly and then they came out with the dog ‘sticker’ so I had to have that as well. Even if I’d known the dog sticker was coming I’d probably have still gotten the regular twilly

I’ll risk repeating myself as this time I’ll note my three 90s are generational. I wanted examples spanning several issues which took me a few years to locate in ‘needed’ colors.

@Snausages @Nomad @MAGJES @Cookiefiend @LKBNOLA @Croisette7 @Pirula @Julide @Agrume @bunnycat @Living.la.vida.fifi and any other likers and posters thank you for your kind and understanding comments. It’s hard out here when all the colorways can be so tempting. For now, I’ll embrace my obsession but I do think 2022 may usher in the year of culling. *insert maniacal laughter*

So I have an on theme post or a post update. I popped into the boutique in between meetings and boy did I find a strange find. Introducing my 3rd GTN in cw16. I was wearing duo cosmique when I went in, and in trying on this scarf 3 different SAs said it looked made for my sweater dress. I’ll attach an a pic of the duo I wore today, and an awkward bathroom selfie of the new GTN. Now I am a proud mom of triplets! Pardon the lighting it’s nighttime here and the end of an obscenely long work day. I have other multiples to post that I didn’t on Sunday. I’ll come back before this week is up to throw those in the pile.
okay - I laughed manically at your maniacal laughter… great minds and all that
But… I love that cw 16 - holy guacamole... I need that Too! :panic:

So funny! I wonder if we have a subliminal message week:P
Needs to be added to the 2022 calendar! Hmmm, as a reminder should I wear Hypnotique? Dies et Hors?
Had to click “Wow”, Snausages, because you are a multi-quote genius!
Desktop + slow day at the office = winning!
Well I believe this very photo (or similar) is the reason I now own this cw @Karenska! So happy you enabled me, twin.

Ah, @labelo what a beauty on you! I just acquired my first CSGM and in winter I live in New Orleans so also not a cold climate except indoors! Where the a/c is freezing at all times. I bet you will reach for them more than you think...

Keepers for sure @Agrume! Gorgeous on you. They must have pride of place in your closet...

This is gorgeous and so bright and happy. Your bracelet and jacket and shawl combination come with a smile guarantee @Croisette7 -- who could possibly not be uplifted?

Just beautiful and perfect on you, turf!

I can't love this post too much! Both for the beautiful scarfs -- I adore the yellow and you know I am a "blue" girl--and the hilarious idea of scarf-as-message. I would be smirking just like the ram all day too @Snausages...

Well, the colors in your Amazone are TDF, your red outfit is TDF and I am your twin on the last, which to me is also TDF, so I am in need of smelling salts @Cookiefiend :faint:

"Say Grail or Say No" is my new @Nomad-inspired mantra...Enough with the lucky finds and good deals and why nots, right? This daily dose of TPF is killer that way...

Of all the beautiful Presentations that have paraded in fabulous mod shots, this one really made my heart sing @turfnsurf -- those greens and tans are perfection together. You have such a great eye and style sense for these lovelies...

Thank you @Cookiefiend! In all seriousness, they are both very close and both very lovely but as I already have more red/purple scarfs (including a red MZ) and a black Selle des Steppes with a graphic red and blue border I am leaning pink. Also I have many more with black hems and IRL the yellow hem on Appaloosa 04 is really eye-catching...tough call but it is clearly an "or" and not an "and" dilemma...which has been interesting all by itself from a collecting perspective.

Thank you! Surprisingly hard decision @Redbirdhermes!

Duly noted dear @Snausages. We could watch our Appaloosas run off into a yellow-hemmed sunset...

Hah, @Cordeliere you are so right and I aspire to being a bit more ruthless. I feel I have some in foster care now, waiting for their forever home...

Thank you for sharing your aesthetic @Kelly Star-- it is always so interesting to learn what collectors gravitate towards and why...As one who only recently figured out multi-quote (thank heavens it is a pass/fail grade!) I now have a bit of a system that works...

@Naessi, you have a wonderful classic collection and always worn and styled to perfection. Ishare your love for some of these: twins on the blue Bassets and sisters on Pavois and Napoleon. I would love to add Grand Tenue-- there was recently a wash version issued, I think...

Me too @Julide ! I keep changing my mind but I will "reveal" in a few days. Y'all have been so kind and helpful...

All so so glorious @Julide -- many beauties nestled side by side on your lovely tea towel. That gold one with pink is TDF but then, they all are swoon worthy. Another amazing collection feat :flowers: I agree that it helps to hear other collectors' logic and strategies, too.

Both are gorgeous. Congratulations @xincinsin! I bought two also (the light and dark blues) and also find the vive quite different though not as dramatic as the two blacks...

Thank you @paula24jen -- you would most definitely rock the red cw!

It took me awhile to come around to the Appaloosa also, @Agrume but it is a fun combination of colors, prints and border (and I know you are not an animal print person)! Can't wait to see your Duo Cosmiques. I think we are blue moyenne twins!
Wonder if KO specifically put the branding in that vignette…
So pretty @Tasha1...

Gorgeous @Agrume. Congratulations on your SE!

Looks amazing-- beautiful @supermommy101 ...

Thank you so much @Croisette7!

I was very, very, very lucky with my PdS silks @Nomad and didn't even know my great fortune at the time. To make up for that I spent far more than I should have on my second ELeK (inspired by @momasaurus) so the great H Math Equalization Equation somehow still works... My blue PdS started this whole journey. The pink one followed quickly (a donated gift from a beloved mentor who preferred brights). The brown FdI is an old and much loved scarf from my "neutral" days and the Les Ailes are both TPF induced finds that I adore. The pink Fleurs d'Indiennes was a lucky wabi-sabi find with dangling care tag...

Thank you @Agrume! Now that I don't have a "day job" it is part of the fun to play dress-up with scarfs and tops...

Quite possibly the most aspirational scarf-on-site (Boutique Edition) ever @Croisette7!!!!   :flowers:

You are killing it this season @Snausages! I am your Bingata (plain) twilly twin on account of earlier mod shots. The Epopees look great on you, too. Don't you need some Leopards, tho? Say, about 12? :graucho:

Well @CanuckBagLover these are just gorgeous on you. In my dreams I would add a mousseline of this design to my pretty 90 so we are mirror opposite PdV seekers...

Ah, @blydia! I love this on you (you look great even tired) and especially that cute slewed around tie. I have your Animapolis-that-got-away and for all the opposite reasons. I thought it was a design I "should" have (but wasn't sold on) and thought if I went for a less bright cw I might like it more. Then I doubled with the mint green/coral from this past spring and learned to love the design. Now I can't wait to wear my gold and green one this fall...So interesting how these silk attractions work...

Beautiful vertical garden! I think I needed to rest my gaze on that @xincinsin!
I have not been able to get the Delightful Dozen out of my head. The one with the glasses did me in. Nov 23 can’t come soon enough!
Nice to see your lovely smile and your beautiful curls, Snausages!

Both are gorgeous, Canuck ... twins on the CSGM.

Twins on the black one, Nomad.

Thank you, LKBNOLA!
:hbeat:
So Chic Croisette!

Love, love, love! Also that octopus tentacle gives me the giggles :giggle:

Both of these are fabulous colors!

It is gorgeous on you… I don’t have this design because I waited too long to decide which cw I liked best.
It’s that same cw - green is my favorite color!

I appreciate your honesty - We often DO have regrets! The two you’ve kept are beautiful tho!
There are so many giggle-worthy aspects in this design - I like the big cat pulling the gloves off with its teeth
You have definitely won the battle for "most quoted in one post!"
Do I win a scarf???!!!!
Your Amazone is such a beautiful color!
Wow - FP looks wonderful with the red top. That top had to be a hard find.....I have that scarf and think the red is quite muted.....almost a touch of orange? You found a perfect match!

The yellow is amazing!!
The yellow is the Houston Museum SE. never thought I could wear yellow until this. It’s true that anyone can wear any color - it’s a matter of hue. And I don’t know any company that can capture a whole rainbow in one ‘color’ better than Hermès
