I’ve owned my green Amber de Vie for a long time and never planned on owning another 90 until I saw a very captivating turquoise hem on @cookie.
Not long ago I saw one pop up on ebay at an insane low price and took a chance on the condition. I had the perfect sweater so I hit BIN.
Surprisingly she appears to have never been worn!

Originally I was afraid that this colorway would be too “red” but it turns out to be just right . Giant triangle zebra pegase.

Congratulations! I think it stunning @ivy1026 -- for me this was among the two I was choosing. I got the blue/turquoise with boardeaux feathers and I love it. If I were ever to multiple, this would be my choice.
I couldn't just get one slim maxy twilly with Le Grand Prix du Faubourg. Would definitely like to add a 90 in that design to my collection as well.

Animapolis Plumetis twilly and in 90. Wouldn't rule out adding the blue cw in the 90 to my collection if I find it in the second hand market.

Plumes en Fete. I have two 90s (they are just so gorgeous!) and bought an upcycling tie for my husband made from the same design as first of my Plumes en fete (the blue, green, lavender). In the last photo I placed it over the part of the scarf it was cut out from (but unfortunately had to increase the lighting in the photo for the design of the tie to be visible as well, so the colours of the scarf are quite off)

All so beautiful @Naessi! I am your twin on the blue GPdF maxi twilly and the red/white/blue PeF. Sisters on the other 90s. The nano and twilly are adorable and it looks great in your glorious hair!
My scarf of the day is Tapis Persans mousseline. I have been majorly inspired to collect this design by our own @Julide . I currently have three, all purchased in NWT or excellent condition. I get quite excited when I know the next day is a Tapis Persans day. I feel so good wearing this design.

SOTD is CW09, the red. (Rouge/Turquoise/Vert Pistache)

And, a couple archive shots of the red.

Lastly, one where I did go wrong. A Tapis Persans FAKE. I was able to return this for a full refund. It was obvious that something was off the moment I opened the box. Normally, an Hermes scarf has me thinking - how beautiful, this is better than I was expecting. With the fake, my first reaction was - how disappointing. It looks so ordinary. All I can say is, listen to your instincts.

A cautionary tale for sure @Redbirdhermes but you have your other prizes for far more than consolation! I am soooooo envious of your collection.
Thank you so much! The beige Grande Tenue is actually the most recent (washed) reissue. I have to admit being a bit sceptical of the first wash scarves I saw as especially dark colours looked a bit too washed out for my taste. But I LOVE how soft and supple it is! And perfect for this cw! So would definitely recommend giving the washed version a chance if there is ever a design you like that is available washed.
Thank you, @Naessi! I thought it might be the Grand Tenue wash! I love it and have never managed to score that cw. Tried a few others but none captured my heart...
Thank you LKB!! Promise I will do a tutorial! I've got several to do now.....hoping to do it this weekend!
oh thanks for letting me know about blydia's tutorial. I'm going to go check it out.
Thank you! You need to get cracking on the tutorial front if your going to tempt us with all your beautiful knots @MAGJES!
Is it too soon -since Aug- to again share my family of Couvertures et Tenue du Jour?
I’ll risk repeating myself as this time I’ll note my three 90s are generational. I wanted examples spanning several issues which took me a few years to locate in ‘needed’ colors.
Here are the gals from youngest to oldest (L-R)

This is simply remarkable to see them across a timeline and yet each looks so perfectly fabulous on you. Proof of the designs beauty and durability I imagine. Thank you for this wonderful perspective on multiples @turfnsurf !
LKB wow! That chocolate Fleurs d’Indiennes is a beautyAnd how lovely with your blazer! Such amazing multiples! We are twins on the first Les Ailes de la Soie!
Also my two favorite PdS!
Thank you so much @MAGJES-- happy to be twins with you (and @Pirula) on the first Ailes and with @Cookiefiend on the second! My brown FdI was just luck-- purchased in pre-collection daus just cuz I liked it ;)
I have not been able to get the Delightful Dozen out of my head. The one with the glasses did me in. Nov 23 can’t come soon enough!
And I love that the designer is a woman, that there are H boxes in the bookcase and the workspace looks as messy as mine! @Snausages your curls always look great-- there are some serious fabulous tresses on TPF!!! :girlsigh:
In honor of multiples week I wore the design I have the most versions of… Cosmographia! I have three 90’s and the pink 140 shawl. I actually decided as a result of this week to frame my special edition cosmographia, as it is my favorite scarf and this way I get to look at it all the time! I don’t mind framing it because I have this pink and white version, which reads similarly. View attachment 5227927
What a smart solution to eating your scarf and having it , too! I bet we would all love to see it framed @laurenad!
I could not resist doubling up on the new Giant Triangle.

My zebra Pegasus family.
I do adore my CSGM…..I really hesitated at first with this colorway not fully understanding how lovely the white /beige contrast can be.

When I purchased my Ivory/blue Le Jardin de la Maharani 90 I was actually wanting hunting the colorway in the CSGM. The 90 won me over. I later added a very colorful CSGM in a fruity green!
Recently I saw this sweet rose/blue/salmon 90 on a resell site and snapped it up.

A fabulous dazzle of Zebras and marvelous Maharanis @MAGJES! I love the blue/ivory in particular, especially with your patterned dress.
Well today has been an amazing day!!My eyes need some rest, but before I go; here is my second half of my Tapis Persan collection, the mousselines. This is shot in a more "artistic" way.:PEvery time I see them I smile:flowers:

My last for the night is Fleurs de Indiens.
This one ties like a dream and the contrast hems are a bonus.

Gorgeous! Just wow. Need to try these ties...

I've had relatives in town and while I leapt last week to the like/love button and replied in my head, a belated 'ooh lala' on everyone's pix. I'm twinning with several and want to be twinning with several more! Thank you all as always for the eye candy

That was the most epic quote cascade I have ever seen! :woot:

This is missing from my growing Alice Shirley collex - I've not yet seen a colorway that didn't make my credit card call my name

I've been looking out for this design and these colorways are fabulous!

You will not regret hunting one of these down. It's a very special one. Totally agree, pretty much all the color ways had something good about them.

SOTD was Dans un Jardin Anglais. I kept looking for one, found the red cw for a very good price and shortly thereafter the blue one which I was really looking for (and then the corresponding bracelet popped up).

No CCP for those ones...

This cool grey and minty green is such a fab colorway Croisette!

Fantastic!
I used to use a free app called GlamOutfit & one OS update it was no longer supported for iPhone; I was distraught! I had spent SO MUCH time photographing/ uploading/ removing backgrounds & inputting details (price, size, category, etc.) of my sizable wardrobe -including scarves- and had lost it all. I’m finally to a place to begin again & was thinking about StyleBook just the other day...your post will be so helpful!

Here’s my SOTD, Presentation, to be on topic:View attachment 5226694

I adore how you have this tied!

I’ve had several colorways of Texas Wildlife but to keep the scarf drawer from becoming a scarf house I’ve culled down to only two.
When @turfnsurf posted different knots to highlight different parts of scarves, I played around to highlight a corner.
View attachment 5226696
And I was chuckling because a friend taught me I can wear scarves as subliminal messages. So this corner is for when I am spending time with those I wish to turn my behind to. I particularly like the sneer on the ram’s face as it makes aggressive eye contact

Originally when I started buying scarves, I vowed not to have duplicates. Then I vowed that duplicates *might* sometimes be OK if I got a "deal" on them, but no duplicates in the same format. (That vow surrendered to Jaguar Quetzal  ). Now I just have a few favorites that "don't count" because I love them so much.

I do seem to have a bit of a thing with two word scarf name duplicates.

Jungle Love....whoops....At least I kept to mostly different formats here....In fact, I believe, after a very very long dry spell of not being able to find "the right" JL for me (had a red dip dye, a cotton charm 70 before these) I finally gave in to my JL lust and decided to cover all the formats.
