Thank you so much, and enjoy Venice!Thank you, this cw is astonishingly versatile!
This is beautiful, there should be more green scarfs! Green and gold is always a winning combination. It looks marvellous with the collar of your blouse.
Beautiful, sister!Oh, how I love this! My absolutely favorite cw of Acte III. Although I adore mine, too. View attachment 5119056
Definitely agree with your color assessment but it is just spectacular no matter what @Karenska!I do believe this majestic one is a male. Just my hunch. Anyway, very beautiful, masculine colors, IMO, and worthy of this week’s theme. Tyger, Tyger in prune, bleu nuit, and acajou.

Of course I meant to type "and now you" @lanit! Typing too fast on an iphone...All so very beautiful @lanit-- I particularly love your C'est la Fete and your Prieres. Y'all (@SusieAugusta, ACroisette7 and not you!) have put it on my wish list! Such a wonderful design.
Wow! This is a great look @momasaurus! Is the blue in this scarf as wedgewood as it looks in the photo? It is fabulous and I love the long tie. Plus another pair of cool earrings!St George (are they both St G? IDK) on Le Triomphe du Paladin today: View attachment 5119126
Aw, @Redbirdhermes -- I would buy this scarf for the bagpiper alone. I have an old photo of my mum as a child in her kilt costume for the junior sword dance on St. Andrew's Day in Havana! This would have been in the 1930s...SOTD is another vintage Ledoux, here featuring the handsome Scotsmen of Scotland. Worn with my Scottish tee from Smash & Pass Gymwear, located in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Well @bunnycat, your scarf math is EXPONENTIALLY great. I do hope your eyes uncross sometime soon and you can get back to less numerical pursuits. Love love love your Animapolis cw...Another drive by from me today, sadly. I have renamed yesterday as "The Day of Math", whereupon I spent approximately 13 of my 17 awake hours doing math, attending lectures, or proctoring tests....now I need to shift gears and finish special orders today. Then it is... back to math...
A couple more from the mens collection I wore earlier this week. Lucky Stripes cotton losange and Filigrane cotton/silk 70cm.

And though I tend to go for more colorful silks in the 90 size, this more deeply toned (a little more unisex) Animapolis remains a favorite.

This is a beautiful scarf, blouse and mod shot @Cookiefiend as well as a hilarious and informative post! Commander Cookie has a nice ring to it...BTW you are reminding me that I have to replace a similar blouse that one of my granddaughters "borrowed"-- I just love stripes, too.Today in Diamyō
Daimyō were Military Landlords in the 10th to mid-19th century Japan - and men.

Per the internet and Wikipedia, a woman could be named Castellan (or commander) by a Diamyō. I don’t need no stinking Diamyō to name me commander!![]()
Oh, dear @Snausages, I think you will adore your Coupons. It is absolutely a blast to tie and becomes completely different with each fold. If you follow Mai Tai she has some great examples and also, I believe she was the original enabler/inspirer that sent me on the road to perdition! But now we have quite the tPF club going!I do believe you are one of the people I have to blame, er, thank for this
In all seriousness tho I am fairly certain this will be on regular rotation. And I’ve had a lot of scarf mail lately that has tPF written all over it!
It IS funny to contenmplate Naked Pink Scarf Hiking Day SusieAugusta!ROFL— can‘t stop thinking about hiking with just a pink scarf.
Agree about the Windsor knot. I wore it to the office today and felt very comfortable. I feel more comfortable when I‘m seen in person to wear a more unobtrusive scarf. Different with Zoom. I like to stand out a bit then.(I‘m pretty sure that in my line of work very few if any of my colleagues would realize that I am wearing an Hermès scarf…at least that‘s what I am hoping.)
Absolutely wonderful!
Well reasoned, LKBNOLA!
Thank you so much @Thelittlefoxes! The full moon behind my house is always lovely but this was 2021's last "Super moon" also known as a Strawberry Moon (because it falls during the strawberry harvest, not because it is red!) so I stayed up to watch it get "caught" in the trees. And I agree, while I don't know the lullaby you are referencing, that those songs can be suprisingly more poignant than soothing at times or the lyrics can belie the melody with their meaning...Thank you so much for your lovely comment, LKBNOLA. I really love to admire the scarfs and the different styles on this thread.
This is such a soft, feminine cw and your rose coloured cardigan is perfect with it! The moon looks enchanting in your photo which reminds me very much of a lullaby/folk song about the moon that had risen. The melody is slightly melancholic but the lyrics are very beautiful and quite profound.
This is so smart and looks amazing @xincinsin! It also sounds like your describing everyone's nightmare SA!I am a big fan of the men's collex. However, most of my men's scarves are purchased off the resale market as, for the longest time, the buyer of the men's department at my home H was a believer that men only wore blue, brown, black and dull colours. I waited in vain for the more exciting cws like the chartreuse Awooooo, and the bubblegum pink Last Night. Not sure if the situation has improved since the boring buyer left. I met a hoity toity SA recently who claimed to be in charge now, and her attitude is that any scarf she hasn't seen before does not existLuckily my own SA keeps tabs on designs for me.
My first men's scarf that was not square was an ascot. I totally fell in love with this format as it is a lazy girl's dream. It was an olive green Kachinas and I've had it for about 5 years now. Recently, I found a Kachinas ascot in blue. The vibe was distinctly different and it is my SOTD.

TDF colors-- just absolutely wonderful. Irresistible, @Croisette7!
Beautifully tied and modeled, @SusieAugusta! I love that combination of pinks and gray with the gold.SOTD: Copeaux. There is a man on it, and woodwork is to my mind more of a man thing.
(Edited to say that my cardigan is a dark green, not black as it appears in the mod shot….)

Wow - gorgeous CW! And the tie shows it off so well. I love your Colorway Correction Program. I've been doing that for a while! Trying to REPLACE and not ADD, though LOL. It's difficult!I am traveling again this weekend and am wearing my new cw of Kawa Ora (part of my Colorway Correction Program where I am gradually adding/replacing preferred cws of designs I love). Not exactly on theme except that it is the only scarf designed by the male tattoo artist Te Rangiti Netana. His instagram is fierce! But this cw of Kawa Ora is soft and lovely with no lessening of the graphic power of his design.

I love this design too. I've had a few CWs that didn't work out (c.f. @LKBNOLA's Colorway Correction Program), but I think this is a keeper. What a beautiful cw, Moma. I love this design and have contemplated adding it to my collex.
Merci, cookie!Très chic Moma!
Love it!
I guess Megalomartyr's are like Super-martyrs - they endured particularly excruciating tortures...Yup St George or to use the term in the Hermès booklet , the megalomartyr
i can’t believe they said that in the booklet … of course this is one of the few religious theme scarves but it is a TDF design, one of my favs, the border is so good
Thanks. More than half my wardrobe is blue, so....yes!Fabulous! And a great reminder that contrasting blues are divine!
Thank you.how beautiful!
lovely greens!
thank you so much, Awillow! the 70 cm format is great, and this one in particular.
great examples and very colourful, thank you, Lanit, for sharing!
great choice, LKBNOLA!
of course they are!
another man in the moon and your gorgeous Tyger, Karenska!
congratulations with your find, Snausages!
wow! Spiffing!
poor Bunnycat! Hope you will have a quiet weekend (with lots of scarves you enjoy)!
Great scarf and great stripes, Cookie!
[/QUOTE]Great pattern mixing, momasaurus! Your jacket looks very special, is it made from a Japanese fabric?
It‘s great to be twins with you! If it hadn’t been for your modelling photo, I probably wouldn’t have bought this scarf and now I like it even enough to take it on a vacation with me.
What a beautiful design and it looks great it with your simple top and your modern earrings. You always make your scarfs look super chic!
Beautiful, sister!

#Momasaurus, thank you!Fabulous colors - pink and green!! I love.
Thank you, my dear. Now that you mention it, yes - the blue is kind of Wedgewood colored. IRL the lipstick matched the red in the scarf! And the long tie was to show off the dude! Right side up even!Wow! This is a great look @momasaurus! Is the blue in this scarf as wedgewood as it looks in the photo? It is fabulous and I love the long tie. Plus another pair of cool earrings!
