This is gorgeous, Croisette! The colours are absolutely striking, very appropriate for an Indian themed design, and I love it against your white dress.

Enjoy your vacation, Thelittlefoxes! I‘ll follow later this year!

Thank you so much, I‘m really enjoying my time here! I‘m sure you will still find Venice very quiet compared to before 2020 when you go later this year.

L‘Arbre du Vent unisex

Very elegant, the black/grey cw really brings out the pattern beautifully.

Wearing Les Allures today. It’s a 70 from F/W 2019, I don’t think from the men’s department, but maybe a “masculine” color (Bordeaux), if you want to be binary. View attachment 5118222

Great pattern mixing, momasaurus! Your jacket looks very special, is it made from a Japanese fabric?

Oh twins! This looks great with white! Glad you are back with your mom.

It‘s great to be twins with you! If it hadn’t been for your modelling photo, I probably wouldn’t have bought this scarf and now I like it even enough to take it on a vacation with me.

St George (are they both St G? IDK) on Le Triomphe du Paladin today: View attachment 5119126

What a beautiful design and it looks great it with your simple top and your modern earrings. You always make your scarfs look super chic![/QUOTE]

Looking snazzy in white and your Rialto in Venice! Nice to see you back @Thelittlefoxes! I have missed your wonderful comments and observations....

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, LKBNOLA . I really love to admire the scarfs and the different styles on this thread.

The power of associative thinking: Midsummer moon in night sky. :hrmm: moon on scarf  Man in Midsummer Moon = Man on Scarf! Theme checked! :smartass:

This is such a soft, feminine cw and your rose coloured cardigan is perfect with it! The moon looks enchanting in your photo which reminds me very much of a lullaby/folk song about the moon that had risen. The melody is slightly melancholic but the lyrics are very beautiful and quite profound.

Yesterday in Appaloosa des Steppes in a dark colorway - perfect for all genders.

Today in Flamboyant Web, from the men’s pocket squares. (tie dyed by me - so H would prolly frown)
View attachment 5118388

Great pattern mixing with Appaloosa des Steppes, Cookiefiend! You wear gavroches so well.

How wonderful to be in Venise with your mother - I'm thrilled for you!

Thank you so much, it‘s really lovely to be travelling again and my mother and I try to have a couple of days together every year with just the two of us.

Today in Diamyō
Daimyō were Military Landlords in the 10th to mid-19th century Japan - and men.
View attachment 5119232
Per the internet and Wikipedia, a woman could be named Castellan (or commander) by a Diamyō. I don’t need no stinking Diamyō to name me commander! :giggle:

This looks like the perfect nautical outfit - you should definitely command a ship or even a fleet!

Here are three designs based on historical male figures:
Les Promenades de Platon is inspired by ancient Greek philosopher Plato and the gardens of his Academy

Le Voyage de Pytheas depicts the maritime routes of the voyages of ancient Greek scientist and navigator Pytheas

Les Tresors du Nil depicts some of the treasures found inside King Tutankhamun’s tomb and features an image of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh at the center. Some of my Egyptian revival jewelry on the scarf

Feux d’Artifice was issued in 1987 to celebrate Hermès’ 150 anniversary and it features an uniformed rider en parade holding fireworks.

I feel that the wonderful glow-in-the-dark La Voie Lactee is quite unisex

Promenade de Platon is a striking cw and I really love the mosaic pattern on Le Voyage de Pytheas. Your jewellery is such a perfect match with Trésors du Nil that I had to do a double take to realize that it was not just the pattern of the scarf. Your jewellery collection is just as impressive as your scarf collection!

What a marvelous scarf-on-site! You look amazing!

Thank you so much, I love the colour combination of my Rialto!

A great one from the men’s department: Sweet Dreams

A la Gloire de Guillaume shows scenes from the historic Bayeux tapestry which chronicled events the Norman conquest of England culminating in the Battle of Hastings. Plenty of soldiers and the royal protagonists

This design and CW always had a menswear feel to me: Le Tour du Monde

As does this shawl: Cavalcadour
View attachment 5118570
Your Sweet Dreams has the most striking, lively colors! And I really admire the brooch you wear with La Gloire de Guillaume - it fits the scarf as if they had been designed together.

Happy summer everyone! I’m a huge fan of the men’s collection. Sharing a few along with some silks highlighting the guys.

I love the cws of Les Artisans and Sweet Dreams, they are both very saturated and lively! Your Parures des Samourais is supremely elegant and the green elements make it look fresh and springlike.

The muffler looks super cozy and the colour combination of gold and blue in C‘est la Fête is marvellous, it looks very rich and regal.

Metamorphosis is a striking design and the cw suits you beautifully!

I am a big fan of the men's collex. However, most of my men's scarves are purchased off the resale market as, for the longest time, the buyer of the men's department at my home H was a believer that men only wore blue, brown, black and dull colours. I waited in vain for the more exciting cws like the chartreuse Awooooo, and the bubblegum pink Last Night. Not sure if the situation has improved since the boring buyer left. I met a hoity toity SA recently who claimed to be in charge now, and her attitude is that any scarf she hasn't seen before does not exist :annoyed: Luckily my own SA keeps tabs on designs for me.

My first men's scarf that was not square was an ascot. I totally fell in love with this format as it is a lazy girl's dream. It was an olive green Kachinas and I've had it for about 5 years now. Recently, I found a Kachinas ascot in blue. The vibe was distinctly different and it is my SOTD.

Good morning,
busy - and hot (no scarves) week, with some difficult meetings. On the upside, I will see my parents IRL after almost a year!
my favourites, not in a particular order:

1. charabia. I love the colours and feel.
View attachment 5113403

2. La femme aux semelles du vent. A scarf about a female explorer. No need to say more….View attachment 5113406

3. Central Park. The colours, the place, the little details…
View attachment 5113407

4. La voie lactée. I love scarves with stars/about astronomy.
View attachment 5113408

5. Zebra Pegasus. A bold Scarf, and great how the artist used the space.
View attachment 5113410

6. Clair de lune - see above.
View attachment 5113412

7. The Savana Dance. This still of the animals is extraordinary.
View attachment 5113413

8. Le voyage de Pythéas. An explorer. And the details From his reports, like the packed ice… Actually I have recently found the original Marseille issue, but not worn it yet.
View attachment 5113414

9. Dans un jardin anglais. All those lovely animals are adorable.
View attachment 5113415

10. Le bal des oiseaux. One of three bird designs I own.
View attachment 5113416

View attachment 5113409
Charabia looks great with your outfit, the black skirt is super chic! Your grey sweater and the brooch look very elegant with Central Park and your black outfit is the perfect foil for Voie lactée. I still wish I had bought the Savana Dance mousseline stole, the border is just marvellous as is the mosaic border on Le Voyge de Pythéas. Your Claire de Lune is an incredible scarf and it matches your blouse as if both pieces had been designed together!
And the three last ones:

11. Rendez-vous Rive Gauche. A scarf about Paris, with a contrast hem. I also love the colours, the dark blue background with turquoise, white and gold.

View attachment 5113417

12. L’arbre du vent. The many stories behind, the colours…
View attachment 5113418

13. Jeux des omnibus et dames blanches remix. The combination of old and new appeals to me.

You wear dark blues beautifully, the scarfs look both business like and super elegant on you!

wonderful, you look happy - enjoy those days, Thelittlefoxes!
Thank you so much, I‘m super happy I can travel again!

Your buyer must have moved to h.com - very minimal selection of colorways:sad:

❤️❤️❤️ you are such a sweet sweet person! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, I really fell in love with this scarf - and with Venice, of course!

I love this with your royal blue jacket, what a striking combination! Your cw comes quite close to a real armour I saw today in Ca‘ Pesaro.

Welll… harrumph to that buyer! :blah:
I‘m glad your SA is watching out for you - we ALL need colors! All of them!

Very elegant, the black/grey cw really brings out the pattern beautifully.
Thank you so much for your nice compliments, Thelittlefoxes. Finally and hopefully
it will never be so crowded by these awful cruise ships masses as before. Back to a serene Venezia!
