My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

This is so creative! Such a happy photo.
Thanks! I am using it as a sort of strap extender because I wanted the Evie TPM to be just a skosh longer. On days when I wear a big coat I either wear the TPM inside the coat or occasionally tie the twilly longer/shorter. I also use it to halve the strap when I want it to be more evening-bag style - fits perfectly under the arm!

I like the bunnies in Les Bles most. I have this design as a 90, a tie and an ascot. You can also find bunnies in La Magie, Aladin, Petite Venerie, Gibiers, Tsitsika, Maitres de la Foret, Chasse au Bois and the KO turkey scarf. I almost BIN'd a Jardin Anglais recently but remembered just in time that the bunnies are not on the gavroche  I'm sure other scarfies can suggest more bunny scarves.
Yay! I will be looking these all up :)

Beautiful scarf and welcome, welcome!
Very pretty, peonies! Glad you found this group! Oh, and I agree Les Bles would definitely be worth looking at. I have the KO Texas scarf with bunnies in one corner arriving in two days

Hi! Thanks both for the welcome! @Awillow what does KO stand for?

Sounds like we need a bunny theme week sometime!
YAS! I will be acquiring more bunnies to participate in this when it comes around ;)

Welcome! Fab look! Is that the maxi twilly slim? Or the regular twilly? (Trying hard not to want one...) I love the bunnies in les Bles also. There might be some on Jan’s scarves maybe? Will double check Animapolis...it’s got everything else.
This is a regular twilly and is Animopolis - but I don't think there are bunnies on the twilly. FWIW, I loop it between the Evie ring (on the bag itself) and the strap hook and then adjust the length as appropriate. I then sort of loop the twilly around and through the strap hook so that it conceals the hook (thus it doesn't look like I have the strap clipped to a silk) and then tie a bow, then again adjust the bow up a bit so it helps hide the clasp. Helpful plus fun to be able to change them! I consisdered replacing the strap entirely with a maxi twilly slim (or was it twillon... can't remember) but I like having only a small amount of silk showing as a pop. And thank you! Will check out Les Bles. Who is Jan?

Les confessions is another one.
Thanks :) Keeping track!

Wow! I never knew there were so many scarves with Bunnies on them!!:flowers:
Right!?

Godzilla's lunch box would probably have bunnies  Maybe in Ugo's designs too? Sweet, thank you. Who is Ugo?

@Langsam, I will definitely consider a theme with bunnies for next year ;)
Yesss!

I have few more pictures of my bags with scarves. I retied the scarf from H and pulled out a GP. My final photo is a “Jackie O inspired” picture. I couldn’t help myself!

Adding; this CW of IP works with many colours! From winter to summer, I think this scarf will be a year round scarf for me!!:flowers:

LOVE this! So beautiful :) The gold/scarf combo is delightful.

What is the first photo (scarf cradling the bag) about? Is that for protection? I guess you just don't worry about damaging the scarf then?

And OMG the Jackie O... to die for :) makes me smile!

Thank you Peonies13:flowers:Index P. was modeled by H this way. ( See picture below. ) It was for fun. I don’t think ( never say never, right? ) I would ever wear a scarf like that. As you can see I put a sheet down, what you can’t see is there are dish towels between the scarf and the bags!!:lol:I’m glad you liked the colourway combination, it was inspired from the H pictures and all the wonderful action shots here:flowers:

@Awillow what does KO stand for?
Answering for Awillow, KO is shorthand for designer Kermit Oliver. You should look at some of his other designs too. They incorporate wildlife so there is frequently a bunny somewhere in there.

You'll pick up very quickly all the shorthand terms we use, like...
MP = Mythiques Phoenix
DuJA = Dans un Jardin Anglais
ELeK = Ex Libris en Kimonos
... because a scarf entitled "De la Citrouille à la Caleche" can be a real mouthful :P

It's a good pick-me-up, especially when I'm flagging in the office.

I'll remember that :P Nice lop-eared vices

Such a sophisticated cw!

More is good! You can start feeling guilty when you have 20 :giggle: (There's a reason why we have multiples week on SOTD  )

I can't find the relevant photo now (new phone) but I remember there was a bag recovered from a sunken ship in the Hermes collection. I wonder if that was the Metta Catherina.

Lovely pic! You are quite making me rethink my decision not to buy the JL Rainbow.

There is also another bunny standing in the snow with a fox in the foreground thinking: To dine or not to dine is the question
This is my 3rd Dallet in this cream cw. I liked wearing the other two together, so this shall join in the mix N match fun.

Looking good! And welcome to the party!
It may well have been, xincinsin. If anybody is interested here is a link to the thread about how Volynka was created and about the salvaged leather. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/new-leather-volynka-russian-leather.980969/page-11#post-33396977

You have the most amazing finds Pautinka! (And of course that lippy!)

Really nicely tied! I’m leaning more and more to getting one...(why I’m so fussy about this one I don’t know...but the cats have to be just right...)

Thank you bc. Yes, think I need to replace that lippy. No idea where it went!

Ahh, perhaps not Gibiers if you are a cute bunny fan?! (Although the detail and colouration is superb.)

I made peace with Gibiers after @ABQ2ATL described it as "sleeping bunnies". Overcame my squick.
But yes, if lapin mort is not @peonies13's cup of tea, then avoid the Linares bunnies. Thanks for the alert, Hat Trick

My Voyages en Russie with a leather keyring made from the salvaged reindeer leather from the Metta Catherina which sank in 1786. The method of making this leather was lost in the Russian revolution but has now been recreated as closely as possible by a tannery in the south of England and is used by H in the form of its Volynka leather.
How interesting!
