Yes it comes with a brush so that you can work with the leather and brush ( rub in) the oils that might surface ( a white residue). You get to be a ” craftsman” when you work with the leather
Thank you, I love barenia and this is another interesting leather. I confess it’s a bit masculine but I love the scent and work in a man dominated work enviroment so it will be perfect and a nice conversation when opening meetings

This piece will definitely put a smile on my face every time I use it, which will be a lot! I feel I have been hunting for my Volynka forever, trying to experience the leather in some form. Most SAs had no clue what I was talking about and I had to explain and show them pictures and the Hermès story about volynka. The Ulysses was surprisingly inexpensive 1370£ and I had to make sure twice before I could believe it

I'm traveling in Munich and the Hermes store here has a mini Volynka exhibition! They had a HAC 40 (I think), another bag I didn't pay attention to, and two agenda covers, each in its own glass display box with its brush. The SA excitedly told me the history of the sunk ship. The display boxes also had a little hole so you can smell the product - PHEW! that is one strong scent. It reminded me of bacon tbh.... the leather is gorgeous however.
Ohh the HAC - that must be amazing! I really wanted to buy the Bolide for DH but, while he loved the leather, he is not a Bolide guy. Still wish we had taken it just to own it

I'm not sure... the SA said they only had the 4 pieces that were on display so it could very well be that they're exhibition only, but that's just my conjecture.
