My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

I am not sure, to be honest. It's one of those anonymous gavroches, no signature. Has a copyright symbol. I have seen a green and white version before. I am going to assume it's called Les Tulips. I bought it thinking I would hang it up for the spring, but it ended up moving straight into my scarf drawers...
It's really lovely!

I love your Ballets Russes, especially, Fifi. This is a scarf I keep entertaining. Looks lovely on you!

Thanks also for your kind comment about Boucles et Galons du Tsar!

Good Morning Scarflandia!

Spring is definitely feeling sproing-y in the Northern Hemisphere full of birds, bright flowers (allergies) and green grass. I'll be spending a good part of today out in my garden, cleaning out my 12 flower beds (no small task...) to celebrate the pretty weather (once I actually wake up!). And for those who celebrate Easter, I hope you have a peaceful and pleasant one.

This week's theme is perfect for the glorious weather outside.

12 Apr 2020 New Beginnings: Pastels, Babies & Baby animals

To thoroughly celebrate this week (and maybe give us all a much needed mental lift) bring out your pastels, babies and baby animal scarves because nothing says new beginnings better than adorable baby Guepards and Tigreaux frolicking in the grasses.

The cubs on Guepards, being cute and minding their own business:

Who started this tussle???

Some real life frolicking with Mitt and Fiona. Fiona *just barely* still qualifies as a kitten. Don't be fooled by the fact she's upside down on the floor. She starts it (every time!). So with that in mind, I think the cub on the right in Tigreaux started it!

Got no baby animals? No worries! Pastels are a great fix for this week too!

Here's my very pastel Karnak:

Oooh- nice find on the domes!

Les Ballets Russes today.

Gorgeous AnnaE! Welcome back!

Somewhere in the mail is this little gav. Tour Auto features fast cars from the 1960s and earlier. No Aston Martin, but a scarfie previously identified a Sunbeam Alpine, a Ford Mustang and a Lotus on it. Bond used those three in the movies. The Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me was a roadster that could convert into a submarine! I'll wear this when we do Wheels later this year in August
