My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

Thank you! ❤
Sadly, because I painted them myself, it’s already coming off! :crybaby:

Thank you sweetheart! ❤

:faint:
Oh Fifi! You’ve done it again - so many lovely, lovely scarves. My favorite is LTd’unA - it’s fabulous!

Thank you so much Croisette!

❤❤❤

Beautiful! But your sweet kitty might have upstaged you!
Its okay tho, it happens to me too!

it’s lovely!

Thank you so much, it’s an Aran cardi - I love it because it’s asymmetrical!
Thank you, darling... I adore that CW of LTdA... by the time I made up my mind that I wanted this design and precisely this CW, it was nowhere to be found and I my SA had to search far and wide

As many have beautifully illustrated here, Neige d’Antan is one of the most beloved Christmas silks

My red Turandot is not exactly a Christmas scarf, but I love to bring it out in December

Another red festive silk is Peuple du Vent

This corner of Les Tresors d’un Artiste with its red and green flowers, is especially Christmasy to me

Ther is no snow, or holiday graphics in Index Palmarum, but that green palm frond and the red fruits and hem, make me think of the holidays

I love wearing these vintage Moghul chandeliers for holiday concerts/events

Your red scarves are so wonderful and you look great in them!

oh, those pinguïns and then the explorers in their red pullovers!

thank you, Moma!

enjoy!

Beautiful - and those earrings are so cute!
Thanks - I do enjoy Christmas earrings!
So cute!

Splendid, RBH!

Thank you, Agrume!
Thanks, Croisette!
gorgeous on you!

ooh this is so cute! This design is wonderful in the small format!

Very festive!
I like the small format also for this design. Someone here posted pix of it with 4 matching nail polishes and I absolutely fell in love!
Well, now... I dunno... this looks Very Marvelously Festive to me!! Spectacular!

That is a darling gav, and I love the way you've tied it with the ring... I *never* remember it, but I love it!

Beautiful!
I must remember to wear gavs even in winter....

I agree... I would wear this for the holidays... gorgeous CW
Thanks! I promised you I would show my non-holiday holiday scarves! I just wouldn't wear this in summer for some reason.

Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! I'm on duty in the office today and found this interesting reference to a festive celebration on this day.

The menu wouldn't fly in my household as we run the gamut from fish lovers to fish haters :amuse: but since fish are a symbol of fortune and plenty for me, here are seven fishy scarves to celebrate the Feast of the Seven Fishes
Clockwise from top left: La Vie Precieuse, Secrets de Minos, Canadian Wild, Ecume, De la Mer au Ciel, A Contre Courant and in the centre Les Truites.

My SOTD is one of my very few summer silks: Kachinas, worn with a small enamel-patterned napkin ring.

I adore your fishy selections! The detail on that Au CC! :faint:

I didn't like that tiger at first but I don't remember why because it's so adorable!
Envious of your manicure...
Thank you!

In my humble opinion, Animapolis is never off topic. (I just received another cw of Cosmographia in a 90, and I cannot wait to wear it.) Jan Bajtlik rocks!

I have another colorway of Cosmographia coming as well. I love the design, but I was always disappointed that the colors in mine weren’t brighter. When some long gone colorways appeared recently on h.com, I hit buy.
