Hahaa! My kids all laugh at me - I cannot watch horror movies because they scare the socks off me. So I watch them with a pillow in front of my face just under eye level. When the scary music comes on, the pillow goes up and I have to say 'Tell me when it's over!'
The earlier post about Dark Shadows reminded me of a moment in one episode that after watching I'm sure my parents were ready to throttle me and the babysitter - NIGHTMARES!!

OMG @xincinsin - I have this scarf in the vanilla cw because of my background in geology & O&G engineering. Never in a million years would have considered this in any way scary - but from now on I will look at it in a completely different way! LOL! Your posting also reminded me of the old cheesy Star Trek episode where they are fighting a silicon rather than carbon based life form where the alien is this rock represented as a really sad "blob".
