So.
Much.
Eye candy!!! :panic:
I couldn’t decide how to approach this week - one color a day, allthecolors at once, or should I look for rainbows?
I am a bit ‘under the weather’ at the moment and can only look at my iPad for short periods - and what am I spending that time looking at? This thread. You guys are fabulous!
I’m not going to post the names of the scarves - y’all know my collection as well as I do! :giggle:

Another beauty! You have a fabulous collection!

I HAVE to have this CW!
Fresh colours against your gray top.
Thank you ladies for all your lovely comments. :flowers: :hugs:
I love scarves that remind me of places I have visited. So I have quite a few French theme scarves.

Rendez vous rive gauche. Once I realized it has a street sign for rue st Andre des arts, I had to have it. This was the street of the first apt we rented in Paris. I bought the blue ne first, and then recently this fluorescent .yellow one!

Love the yellow on you! It looks better on you than the blue cw. :)

This week we celebrate Bastille Day, our French themed scarves and our scarves that are homages to our beloved Hermes.
I will start with my most H scarf - Monsieur et Madam

(I also had this in the olive cw with the fabulous orange ribbon but rehomed it because I couldn't make the olive work <sad face>)
(Sorry too for the quick intro!)
Thank you for the intro... And I know what you mean about CWs... I own a dark, rich CW of this design, but don’t reach for it often, whereas I find it quite wearable in your CW... And, what a lovely pic of you two!

Happy Sunday all!

Sorry for the late start but some of y'all are already on the ball! I'll just cut to the chase with this week's theme:

14 Jul 2019 -BASTILLE DAY- Homage to H and French themed scarves!

Though the English speaking world tends to call it Bastille Day, in France it is known as the Fete Nationale Francais or the 14 Juillet. So for this week let's pay some homage to H and French themed scarves!

Thanks for the intro... Love Fiona... Andthe silks are gorgeous, especially the Faubourg Rainbow... I kept holding out hoping that it would be issued in a 90, but may just have to cave to the gav while they’re still around... It’s such a wonderful design!

Oh, of course you’d have to have the Rendez-vous Rive Gauche, besides the fact that it’s such a wonderful design! All perfect! And twins with you on Giverny... What a glorious CW it is!

My summer contribution to the topic) I even made my very own twillon from two twillies‍
Gorgeous!

I got a late start today -- I 'm listed as Scarf Mistress, so I spent a few hours finding scarves earlier in the week, then forgot I had a matinee play today and had to rush off before I posted. Thank you Bunnycat and Lanit and Cookiefiend and Croisette!
If I had the scarves, I would have started with fireworks! Alas, someone else will have to bring on Feux du ciel, Feux d’Artifice, and Pluie d’Etincelles.
Croissant already showed her gavroche of Souvenirs de Paris but I think the playful dogs in the park at the foot of the Tour Eiffel may show up better on a 90:

Les Trois Mousquetaires
View attachment 4489869

[Wikipedia] The Three Musketeers (French: Les Trois Mousquetaires) is a historical adventure novel written in 1844 by French author Alexandre Dumas.
Situated between 1625 and 1628, it recounts the adventures of a young man named d'Artagnan (based on Charles de Batz-Castelmore d'Artagnan) after he leaves home to travel to Paris, to join the Musketeers of the Guard. Although d'Artagnan is not able to join this elite corps immediately, he befriends the three most formidable musketeers of the age – Athos, Porthos and Aramis, "the three inseparables," as these are called – and gets involved in affairs of the state and court.

A fascinating true story here: http://forum.sealordsvf.org/index.php?/topic/7995-when-cavalry-captured-a-fleet-trapped-in-ice/

There are other French ship stories, but we're concentrating on France, the country, I think...

And of course, there are the Hermes products, illustrated so nicely on Monsieur et Madame... and others!

So adorable!

This VdP for SotD for work and after is totally compliant with our theme. It puts Marseilles on the map and was bought in Nice on Bastille Day 2014
Perfect! And such great pics!
