I've now caught up for SOTD sunny yellow week. [emoji38] I'm happy to share my first 140cm summer silk and long-awaited Sieste au Paradis cw03 in blanc/ noir/ ochre. :hbeat: I waited for this cw for so long, it was a relief to finally get it.View attachment 4388641 View attachment 4388642
Hurrah!! It's beautiful and I am so happy you got one. I love the cw you have chosen.

Hello everyone! (Finally got myself to the right thread!)

I am hopelessly behind now for yellow and sun week! Ack! Regular life has been a bit crazy this week and of course...tango to all weekend long for our yearly festival....so popping in to say HI!!!

And it wouldn't be a yellow week without the beautiful sun yellow border of Guepards. I imagine the beautiful kitties galloping and playing in the sunshine of the African plains!

And Rainbow Fbg doesn't have yellow in this CW, but marvelous rays of polka dotted sunshine from whence the fun stripey rainbow originates. [emoji2]

I just love the coral in this one!

Holsby- that green and black Astres is AMAZING!

Beautiful MP stole my MP cousin!

That yellow with the black hem on this slays me every time!

beautifully cozy moma! And I LOVE your green nails!

Yes Onde Chic..that’s it! Than you Julide. And if you have the 70 cashmere/silk version, as I do, then you will not have the psychedelic horses:crybaby:
You show the 70 and I'll show the 90 next month for Fraternal Twins week. I'm very interested to see how they differ. :smartass:

I'll just ditto what everyone says about that Hippopolis!

Mall, I have no kite themed scarves so felt space shopping was a nice substitute. It is also cherry blossom season but I have no pics since between the two festivals there were about 5M people in a two mile radius and we lost our will to live before we made it to the tidal basin.
(Voice of doom... ) There are kite-themed scarves, Ifola...

Whoo! I have rushed through the last few pages of the thread so that I can post a couple of scarves in time. There have been so many gorgeous photos and once again I am in awe. I do have a few scarves with yellow, but these two are the stand out ones. Life is very tough now as I hardly ever manage to get out of bed. The weather is lovely and sunny in my part of England at the moment and I get quite sad because I can only see the sunshine through the bedroom window.

So, I decided to cheer myself up and wore these two - Au Pays des Oiseaux Fleurs and Au Coeur de la Vie - on the two of the only days that I was able to leave the house.

I don’t wear yellow very often these days but I look back to my 20s, in the late 1970s, when I had a pair of bright yellow dungarees! (No pics are available, which is probably just as well.)

@lanit I am also sorry to hear about your dog. I have never had a pet, but can still send sympathy for your loss.
So glad you could join us, HH :hugs:
I have enjoyed every last one of these:sunshine:reminders of sunnier days! I was disheartened this week as I thought:shucks:I did not have any yellow scarves. I was wrong! I grabbed the mousseline first but because the weather looked sunny and warm, I had to go back to put a CSGM on top of it...and it was yellow!! I had completely forgotten about this beauty. So sad as it is perfect for a brisk spring day!:flowers:
Ooohh, nice! Is it Qalamdan?

So sorry to hear you aren't so good just now. Fingers crossed for only a quick stay in the doldrums and that you will be up and about in no time at all. Thank heavens for your scarves to brighten up your days and ours. Get well soon.
What I am actually wearing today: modernisme tropical with bits of ochre and other 1950s colors. Needed some springtime to top off my all black NYC outfit, LOL!View attachment 4389216
Beautiful scarf and knot moma. I am in full 50s flow just now, being addicted to watching Velvet so this fully fills my desire at the moment for all things 50s! Yum!
Too warm to wear my scarves when I'm not in the office, so DH only sees them when we go somewhere chilly. Definitely not colourblind. He can fiddle with the colour balance on the TV all day

You look great in everything, Croisette!

The Zambezes this week have made me sort of hanker for one. I keep reminding myself that I really didn't gush over it when it first came out, and it's better (for my wallet) to admire it on someone else [emoji14]

:girlsigh: agree....
Haha! I think that is an affliction from which we all suffer. At least here we get our fix and our wallets are none the lighter.

Such a perfect design for CSGM.

Rounding up Sunny Yellow week with a couple of nice ones.
The tiger cubs gavroche has a lovely palette of colours with its butter yellow, violet grass and light blue border. But I've never worn it. If I wear it solo, I can't showcase the cubs, so I'm still waiting for the perfect match to complement it.
And Cosmos has lots of stars on it - suns in far off galaxies, right?
Plus isn't that guy with the chariot a sun god? :sunshine:

Beautiful set of scarves, dear Croisette! I especially love the Astrologie (delightful blue!), and the Selle d'Apparat Marocaine.

And thank you for liking my Paradis!
Thank you so much, litchi!
