Supremely flattering, please do.

I bought this cw to liven-up a reversible wool-check and stone Aquascutum mac I was wearing at the time of buying. It's not always the best of idea to buy scarves that go with the outfit worn on the day and when I got it home I became worried I'd made a mistake, it took a little 'playing' with and separating its role from other blue scarves but now I've furrowed a niche for my Jag Q I'm delighted again.
Couldn't resist. Swapped out the navy trench for a lighter jacket - which I regretted as the day got progressively colder after the warm morning! I feel like I should do a series of photos pretending to be various folks. This was too fun. PhotoGrid_1553746896603.jpg

This Eperon d’Or mousseline stole is brilliant with yellow!

Love Eperon. It's glowing in yellow.

Flamingo party.
I love the yellow border.

This colorway is unbelievable, with the rich jewel tones. Looks gorgeous on you.

Finally, I decided to return Sintra. It is a beautiful and photogenic scarf, but not quite me. On a related and slightly more tangential note, H customer service told me to return the sad de la Mer as a typical return - no photos needed. Kind of a bummer.

Had to do a double take! We should do a whole thread of 'is it or is it'?

Dear silkies, it’s been a sad month having lost my beautiful pup at the beginning of the month. I posted him a few years ago in his prime wearing a little pochette. I am just getting through the fog of losing him and at peace knowing he was well loved. He was a gift to us during his lifetime with our family. So yellow is the perfect color to cheer me up and banish my blues.

Oh dear lanit, I am very sorry that you have lost your pup. I remember him so well. He has been a beautiful little photo star in many of your pictures through the years. It goes very deep in your mind to loose a dear pet. He has been an important part in your life. I am sending you my thoughts and comfort.

On my way to a conference,
Packed only black and white clothing and very bright scarves.
Expected temperatures between 0 and 20° Celsius make packing a challenge.

Last weeks are a blur, colleague broke her leg, I worked so much I could barely scroll through this amazing thread. But all the overtime finally made me pull the trigger on the beaded Jaguar Quetzal [emoji12] [emoji7]
Kudos to all of you who can wear yellow so gloriousely.IMG_20190328_090124.jpg

Oh, Lanit, I am so sorry about your pup. He looks like he was a sweet little doggie. Glad to see you wearing the lovely Samurai that you encouraged me to buy. Take care!!

Très chic!

Beautiful, Croisette! we are twins on Flacons!
So lovely, monteverdi!

Yellow is the perfect theme for this week. It is such a cheery colour and helps me believe that spring is on its way. My contribution - L'art du Sarasa.

Haha - I would love to see a series from you pretending to be various folks! Good eye.
About the Sintra--I have to say that I thought it was pretty, but looked like lots of other scarves when tied.

Thank you everyone for the lovely welcome
Sorry I can't work out how to quote everyone's replies (still learning lol). I agree that the heart has to sing - my heart says cashmere but my wallet says twilly! :-s

I'm narrowing down my selection to about 10 scarves at the moment - and yes, I feel the slippery slope coming!

Lanit - so sorry to hear about your pup :( They certainly leave their paw prints on our hearts.....
